Bryan Mitchell

Excellent surgeon!

I really like Dr. Mitchell - I believe that he is an excellent surgeon, and he has a great "bedside" manner. If I needed the type of surgery that he specializes in, I would not hesitate to ask him to do the procedure.

Dr. Bryan Mitchell and his surgical team exemplify the attributes of exceptional patient care. In all of my encounters with Dr. Mitchell and the broader team of providers and administrative support within Orthopedics, I have felt respected and heard as a surgical candidate and eventual patient. Examples include demonstrating patience and empathy during in-patient consultations/appointments/follow-up, responding to questions in a thorough, understandable manner, promptly responding to inquiries via MyChart or via phone as appropriate, and following up post-surgery to check-in on recovery. I also appreciate Dr. Mitchell and team's reassurance and genuine investment in my post-op recovery goals.

Dr. Mitchel is an amazing surgeon. I have not had any pain from hip at all. He fixed a labrum tear and I expected it to hurt afterwards but this is the first surgery I have ever had NO pain with. Thankyou Dr.Mitchel !!

Dr. M was very pleasant, knowledgeable and respectful. He took the time to listen to my questions and answered them appropriately. I was pleased with his professionalism. I let him know I would be seeking a second opinion outside of providence and he didn't try to persuade me otherwise. This was an excellent experience.

Dr. Mitchell did a perfect job repairing the torn Labrium in my hip. He explained the entire procedure, clearly stated the recovery time and set me up with the appropriate PT program and equipment. My hip pain greatly diminished immediately after surgery. The PT was tolerable and strengthened my body. The surgery team were caring and professional. The best I have received in Spokane.

I had hip repair surgery first week of September. Dr Mitchell was AMAZING! My recovery was far better than I had expected and everyone has been incredibly kind throughout the process. He got me in right away and my surgery was scheduled only two weeks out. They fully listened to and answered all my questions and I went into surgery with no stress and knowing what to expect. Disresgarded severity of daughter's pain from "ossicle" descending deeply into patelar tendon. Didn't catch/mention the torn meniscus. Genuinely callous about her pain and limitations. Then didn't show for the pre-op appt. We cancelled the procedure and went to Tycho Kersten of NWOS who was meticulous and thoughtful. Now, she's finally pain free and doing great. I had such a great experience with Dr. Bryan Mitchell’s office. He listened ordered the testing that needed to be done and surgery went so smooth. Absolutely the best surgeon I’ve had. I had labrum tear repair from Dr. Mitchell today and let me tell you it went amazing. The whole staff there were wonderful and very professional. I've had my fair share of surgery's and this by far was my best experience yet. I would highly recommend them. Thank you for the wonderful care you all provided to me.

Doctor Mitchell and his team were great I had him before my ACL reconstruction November 1st . I am still in the early stages of recovery however I was super impressed by how caring and concerned he was about his patients I had a couple of concerns that he had no problem talking me through to make sure that I was completely comfortable before proceeding. I love him and he's the best ever...

Highly recommend if you want a surgeon who does not listen to you and blames recovery issues on your improper following of directions. He did my surgery and my hip needed three anchors to secure my tear. After 1 month post op. I knew something was wrong. He would not listen to me and cont. to blame it on scar tissue and wouldn't follow up with another mri. I saw Dr.Dewing and he did the mri, hip was retorn. 2nd surgery done now and two anchors were out, retorn and a bone impingement prev. missed

Dr. Mitchell has done surgery on both my shoulder. I really like him. He listened to me and made me full important and he has done everything to help me. I was in so much pain. I feel so much better now. The wait time was not bad he has always got me in with in 15 minutes. Only one time it was longer because he had an emergence.
