I had thrown my back out and Cara was recommended to me. She moved her schedule around to see me last minute. She Spent time understanding exactly what was wrong and what happened. She was able to ease the pain and increase movement after one visit. Highly recommend.

Dr.Hillwig is always listening. With a bad back that was yet to be diagnosed with an out of place disc, Cara did her best to make my situation better. She showed a true "want" to relieve me of the pain I had and we tried a lot of different techniques. Unfortunate that my situation is just a fact of getting older. Thank you Doc for your help! My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Hillwig for the past four years. She is a true professional and is genuine in her desire to help us keep healthy. She doesn't rely on gadgets (as some other chiropractors do), she doesn't push anything uncomfortable on the patient. She is thorough and we don't leave the office with any untreated or unaddressed issues. The best thing is we aren't ever kept waiting, she is always on time, doesn't cram the waiting room full of other patients, and is in a very convenient location for us. Dr. Hillwig is amazing! She was the first Chiropractor I had been to (at age 35) and I was so happy with her care. I had just had an 11lb baby and my body was all out of whack from carrying him. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable with everything she needed to do and made sure I left always feeling much better than when I walked in. I was concerned that a chiropractor would lock me into going more than needed or be pushy with appointments, but Dr. Hillwig NEVER made me feel that way. She was happy to help, but also happy NOT to see me if it meant I was doing well. I go back to see her every few months when I feel I need to, and she is happy to help me. My experience as a patient of Dr. Hillwigs' has been great! I have been seeing her routinely for adjustments this past year (2017). She was a referral from my PCP and my husband has also recently become a new patient of hers. I really appreciate her timeliness with her appointments and she is never running behind. Her office is very clean and inviting. I also appreciate that her office assistant sends me text reminders in advance to confirm my appointments. I have seen other chiropractors in the past, and what I like about Dr. Hillwig is her willingness to do an assessment at the start of each visit to evaluate my problem areas before doing adjustments, in case I don't need them. So happy I found this doctor! Dr. Hillwig is extremely caring, patient and easy to talk to, as well as flexible and effective. She does not offer a "one size fits all" treatment, but will work to find solutions unique to you. She was able to relieve the severe pain I had for weeks and thought would never go away. Very pleasant and relaxing office atmosphere. I did have to wait a week or so for an appointment, but it was worth it. The office also has counseling and yoga classes. Highly recommend!
