Dr. Carey Ann Cullinane

Good surgeon, great bedside manner, really cares!

Dr. Carey Cullinane, was absolutely wonderful from the beginning through the end of my pre operation consult to my successful follow up surgery appointment. I'm a retired education administrator and she explained and drew illustrations of everything I should expect and explained everything regarding my diagnosis. A star professor in my classroom of life! She and her entire team were amazing and I'm grateful.

My mother had colon cancer and Dr Cullinane performed surgery. After this my mom never felt well, she was tired, feverish, chills and clammy. I took her to Dr C and she told us that it was fine it's just the colon adapting to foods etc. She still wasn't well and even my sibling suggested to the Dr maybe it's something an antibiotic would take care of. She never prescribed that. A few weeks later my mother was so sick and gray in color, she was so weak could barely walk. We took her to the ER and they admitted her ASAP. She ended up having an infection in the colon from the surgery as there was a kink left and that created an infection. She could have died they said. She was in the hospital for over a month! Dr C came to see her and had her head down the entire time. She knows she made a very bad mistake and that flippant arrogant attitude that it's just her body doing what it does was wrong to do. I cannot recommend her after this. Never trust dr's please, trust your instinct.

Got in quickly, she was warm and knowledgeable and answered all my questions, it was a perfect visit.

Dr. Cullinane, was referred to me by my GYN after I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. She is experienced and she is an expert when it comes to oncology. She is very informative and caring when you speak to her. She's never in a rush to get to her next patient. I appreciate her professionalism and I would recommend her to my family or friends in need of a mastectomy. Dr. Cullinane, has a heart of gold. I drove an hour to see her for an appointment and it was well worth the wait.

Dr. Cullinane completed my bilateral mastectomy. On our first consultation visit, she spent 90 minutes explaining all of my options as well as explaining my genetic predisposition towards breast cancer. She is kind, caring and her work is impeccable. I would highly recommend Dr. Cullinane to anyone who needs her expertise.

So kind and gentle, took the time to explain all the surgical options. Her sweet and reassuring demeanor, gave me comfort during a scary cancer diagnosis and surgery. Amazing surgical skills. Referred by a plastic surgeon, as she does such a good job, it makes their reconstruction even better.

Being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year was scary and unsettling. Dr. Cullinane has been an angel on the journey. She is kind, patient, and gentle. She answered all my questions thoroughly and professionally. She listened to my fears and concerns and gave me the information I needed to make the decisions I felt were best for me. Her caring bedside manner is matched by her skill as a surgeon. I am beyond please with the results of my surgery and highly recommend her.
