Dr. Carla R Pearman

Bedside manner is lacking to put it nicely. Hard to reach. Plan to make your own appointments if she gives you referrals and by any means don’t call for something serious because she will tell you to “wait it out”.

Dr. Pearman is wonderful!! She is professional, knowledgeable, and offers compassionate care. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable during my pregnancy.

I left Dr. Pearman's office in tears. While I was at the office I discovered that while my insurance covered office visits with her, it did not cover the hospitals she does hysterectomies at, once that was discovered, I was dismissed. She couldn't be bothered to answer any questions about my upcoming procedures, was cold and dismissive. I will say that the front office staff and her nurse were very kind. I would not send my worst enemy to this doctor. I now understand why it was so easy to get in to see her, I doubt she has many repeat customers.

I have no idea what others are talking about who've left negative reviews. Dr Pearman has always been kind, caring, and willing to answer all of my questions. I'm overweight and she's never mentioned a thing about it. I would recommend her highly.

I haven't seen this Dr. since Jan. 2018, not only is she always short to the point and does not seem that friendly, her office will bill you a year and a month after your appt. They blamed it on insurance, insurance provided the document's and claims submitted late by Rockhill. Just an overall hotmess!

Carla Pearman was the doctor on call who ended up delivering my daughter. She came in last minute with the cluster of “viewers”, and barely spoke two words to me. She took it upon herself to cut me to get the baby out quicker (I only pushed 15 minutes, 5 with my second- who I didn’t tear at all with), and proceeded to stick her hand elbow deep to RIP my out placenta in chunks immediately after delivering! Your placenta should deliver on its own, with my second it was out in 10 minutes. Typically, you are too distracted with your new baby to notice anything around you, but trust me, the pain of this was noticed. Did I mention I delivered naturally and un-medicated, so I felt everything? This doctor is barbaric, PLEASE be warned not to let her disrespect your body or your babies birth. Wonderful doctor.

I started going to Dr. Pearman after a coworker referred me several years ago. I liked that she was interested in my questions, took time to answer them, and asked me questions about family history. I also have had good experiences with her nurses. I am bad about scheduling my appointments so the wait to get in can be rather long, several months, but that is more my fault.

This was the doctor on call for me. As soon as I delivered my daughter (naturally/un-medicated) she stuck her hand elbow deep to RIP out my placenta in chunks. Rather than letting it deliver on its own. Typically, you are too distracted with your new baby to notice anything, but trust me the pain was noticed. There was no medical reason for what she did, she just wanted to take over my birth and get out of there quickly on a Sunday morning. Do not trust this doctor, she ruined my experience.

Making an appoint was easy, Dr Pearman was on time for My appointment was easy to schedule. Dr Pearman is easy to talk to about anything whether it be my personal life or health. Dr Pearman has great bedside manner and is very passionate when it comes to caring for her patients. The staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. I truly would recommend.

I had my first appt today. She really took the time to go over my medical history and asked many questions about my symptons for current office visit. She was very thorough in explaining what procedures needed to be done and why. She answered all my questions and was very thoughtful in the process but also very thruthful in possible results. I felt she genuinely cared. Also, her nurse was very sweet.

She was very rude and short with me as a parent and my daughter, who the appointment was for. She didn't provide an reason to explain the symptoms of why we were there. Her nurse was also rude. She wasn't in the room more than 5 minutes after we had waited 40 minutes to see her. Would NOT recommend this doctor.

She has been my physician for years and she delivered two of my children. I feel like she has taken excellent care of me and always answered my questions. I have recommended her to several of my friends and they are very happy with her, also. Her nurse is very friendly and always makes me feel comfortable.

her personality is cold and unfriendly. she always shows up late and is in a hurry to leave. she has never talked to me about what to expect or what to do or not to do and seems irritated if you ask questions like your wasting her time.

Hateful. I'm 12lbs overweight. Had my son 1 1/2 years ago. She told me I was morbid obese.

She is the worst doctor I have experienced. Dismisses all of my pregnancy concerns all while being completely cold, callus and apathetic.
