Dr. Retif is so incredibly talented and a wonderful MD! She listens to you and helps you make the best decisions for your health and your skin! Her office staff is so professional and I absolutely love going to her! Highly recommend!

They continue to send me bills even after I've paid in full. They send letters threatening to ruin my credit rating. I even went in person to get this issue resolved by showing where I had already paid in full, but a man in a foreign accent was so rude and refused to acknowledge the issue or resolve it. They may think billing patients twice will double their revenue, and maybe it does, but it's poor business ethics and the poor attitude and condescending rudeness makes the problem that much worse for the patients/victims.

YIKES. This woman is an antivaxxer and can be seen on the social media posts of The Tennessean sharing these views under her actual name. I wouldn’t trust a dermatologist who can’t understand simple vaccine research and who would let her understanding of science be clouded by her political views.

I have gone to Dr. Retief for botox and she has always done a great job. I have been to her for this treatment 4 times and have always been happy with my results

My 23 year old daughter went to Dr. Retief in 7/19 upon recommendation of my friend who was already a patient. My daughter had a mole on her right calf that had changed over the past year. Dr. Retief diagnosed her mole as seborrheic keratosis and did nothing about it. In 1/20 I happen to see the mole, noticing it had changed even more and insisted she go back to Dr. Retief right away. She did and when Dr. Retief saw it this time, 6 months later, she immediately removed it and did a biopsy. A few days later, Dr. Retief called my daughter and advised that the mole was indeed Melanoma, Stage 2. I called the office and asked to speak with Dr. Retief directly and she never called me back. Her nurse and business manager called me - one to "cover" for Dr. Retief saying she was completely correct in her 7/19 diagnosis; the other to ask for payment. Fortunately, my daughter had the cancer removed by another doctor. ADVICE: NEVER, EVER GO TO THIS DOCTOR AS SHE MISSED THIS CANCER!

Dr Retief is a highly skilled skin cancer surgeon who performed very intricate surgery and reconstruction on my face without a flaw. You can hardly tell there was any surgery performed.She did it with humor,care and great compassion, and made me feel totally at ease. Her staff love her, and it is obvious she loves them. The aftercare was the best I have ever received-constant follow up and hand holding. I adore Carla Retief and her staff.

Dr Retief has been my dermatologist for several years, she is a highly skilled surgeon who has performed skin cancer surgery and reconstruction on my face without a flaw.You can hardly tell that I ever had surgery.She and her staff have been nothing but first class,compassionate and caring. The best after care i have ever received. Thankyou Dr. Retief, you and your staff,Tammie,Lindsay,Adam,Laurie are beautiful inside and out. I am blessed to have you in my life. :)

She is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I am suffering from acne so I visited her. The wait time was 45 minutes. She don't even have patience to listen to my concerns or to write a daily routine for me. I don't understand how she became a Doctor. She suggested some products to buy from them, which were too expensive and they didn't even help with my acne. They also charged additional 25$ and I am not sure why they did that. It was neither copay and nor the bill. Very rude and unfriendly staff.

Unbelievably skilled in both medical & cosmetic ends of her practice. I have sent my entire family to Retief Skin Center ..........Dr. Retief looks at your face like a canvas to art work on, she left my father's face scar free after complete skin cancer removal .......a self developed skin care line formulated to your skins specific needs leaves you needing to go no where else for care. Funny,loving & a beautiful soul who cares for you like a family member, that's how your treated by Dr. Retief

I love my visits to Retief Skin Center! Whether I see Dr. Retief or her PA, Missy Howd, the staff is very professional, and the office has a low stress environment. The waiting room doesn't even feel like a doctor's office with it's décor and brightness. Dr. Retief is not pushy with cosmetics but is amazing when it comes to her recommendations and procedures. She is also an incredible surgeon when it comes to skin cancer surgeries. I would highly recommend this office for all of your needs!

I've bee seeing Dr. Retief for about 15 years. She has done a great job of keeping me looking naturally young, not palstic!

Individual patient care and satisfaction is of the highest importance to Dr. Retief. She has endless patience and will listen and respond carefully to any/all concerns and questions. Once something needs or is chosen to be done, she is also a ninja when it comes to distraction! For example when my daughter needed a mole removed for biopsy, she had kiddie music playing as we came in to the room so that they could sing along and talk about that. My daughter hardly noticed the procedure. :)
