Dr. Melini is a great diagnostic physician. While some school districts do not concur, know that he is much more advanced in diagnosing children than a system which is stuck in the 1970's so they can cut your child's services on IEP's. I would highly recommend Dr. Melini. He has helped me advocate for my child who is gifted, in a town that does not comply AT ALL for truly academically gifted children. There are too many parents who redshirt and retain, then demand "gifted"!!

We didn't know if our son had learning issues or was just lazy. Dr Melini identified several impediments to his learning and provided easy-to-implement strategies to help him. His assessment and evaluation was spot on, and our son is doing much better now.
