I was impressed with Dr. Bailey's knowledge of certain health conditions affecting the general population. Dr. Bailey is one of the better doctors I've received treatment from since I moved to TX 6 years ago. He has a comfortable bedside manner, takes time to answer questions and he makes sure your prescriptions are in order as it relates to refills. He makes sure the lab work and the science backs up his recommendations for meds and treatment. I would refer him to my family and friends. I complained a few years ago about having to pay for lab work. After a discussion with Dr. Bailey we have agreed on a more suitable solution that works for both of us.

Excellent provider. Office is stand-alone and family oriented. Dr. Bailey is knowledgeable and skilled, taking time to ensure that all complaints presented are looked at in detail in tandem with consideration of symptoms as a whole. This not only allows for a full investigation of complaints, but also eliminates the "find the zebra" specialist referrals. He is empathetic and really cares about his patients, down to assisting with resources for his patient's families if DX is heavier than anticipated. His staff goes above and beyond in communication. They provide excellent bedside (or, chairside) care. Everyone there speaks in clear language tailored to the patients comprehensive preferences and does not strictly use medical jargon that may confuse some. They even ask targeted questions if they find the smallest change during triage vitals such as slight weight change or blood pressure. Dr. Bailey will take the time to work through the smallest detail, even if it is a small and "expected" side effect of an RX. He will ensure that the side effect isn't a precursor to something else before continuing. It has been a long time since we have interacted with a provider that holds true family practice as a core value. Being a specialist is an added bonus. There has never been a time that they have been unresponsive. Dr. Bailey and Jennifer always ensure that they communicate with urgency and will hold appointments that make sense to the patients time and lifestyle rather than his "books". They can pivot to telemed if a physical visit isn't possible. He is also affiliated with Methodist, so ensuring all around care is a breeze when specialists are needed. Dr. Bailey has been the pivotal provider in literally saving my Dad's life.

I've been a patient for atleast 10 years and am glad to such a caring and hardworking Dr that listens to you and the staff is super friendly and professional thanks Dr Bailey ????

Understanding, concerned, professional

Dr Bailey is awesome. I have been going to him for over 5 years now and I can say that he is very thorough and to the point. He has his patients best interest at heart. I always feel welcomed when I arrive and leave knowing that I have received the best care. I also like the fact I always see the same faces. :-)....His nurse "A" is also amazing!!!! I definitely recommend if you're looking for a Physician.

Dr. Bailey and his courteous and competent staff render kind and effective medical service. I have recommended family members and friends to Dr. Bailey.

Dr Bailey is very thorough & has a great bedside manner however the office is not very efficient in ordering prescriptions & tests. It takes at least 2 phone calls (sometimes more) to accomplish what is needed. They are very pleasant but lack promptness in getting simple patient needs completed. Very frustrating!

My husband and I visited Dr Bailey's office for the first time this week. our appointments went very smoothly and was very pleased with how our visit went. Our concerns were addressed and Dr Baily showed real concern on getting us on a healthy path. Thank you for everything and look forward to working with your office.

We recently moved to the area and she wanted a change of physician. I took my mom to Dr. Bailey this week for the first time. We were both impressed and pleased with the first visit. He took the time to talk with us both and make sure all of our concerns were answered. I cannot begin to express how happy I am with Dr Bailey. I came in with a serious injury and immediately felt like he cared. He made sure that I was taken care of from beginning to after my surgery. Same problem as the previous reviews. Service was decent until they changed labs to process bloodwork. Went in for annual and they coded blood work for something other than annual exam. So for that reason ins. did not pay 100% like it should have. I asked why wasn't it coded for annual but all they say is I dont have to worry about that. I received a bill for lab work so I contacted the drs. office and was told that I did not have to pay because Dr. Bailey has a contract when them and that it would be written off. I spoke with the lab facility and they said no one has such a contract with them and what happens is after they send out the third bill the billing will stop. Therefore the balance will stay on your acct. but you will not receive anymore bills thinking it has been taken care of but it hasn't. It's terrible we pay these high premiums for ins. and can't take full advantage of it because you have Dr. offices falsifying claims for what ever reason. I really wish something could be done. I was impressed with Dr. Bailey but his staff appears to lack the experience needed for his office. I also received a $211 bill which I paid for lab work which I am not accustomed to receiving for in-network doctors. The person at the front desk told me I shouldn't have received the bill and that she would take care of it and get the lab to issue a refund but so far nothing. During my 1st visit I suffered a painful hematoma that stayed on my arm for almost a month as a result of his staff drawing my blood improperly. Add the lab bill on top of that and I almost feel violated. Dr. Bailey one of the better doctors I've had but he needs better supporting staff and a lab in network. Heed these reviews and get your billing in order. I am really disappointed that I have to find another doctor. Dr. Bailey has been my PCP for years, and it’s always a great and informative visit. Highly recommended for those in search of a home for their health care.

Welcoming and clean environment, it feels like home. Staff is great, always greeted with a smile and are very helpful in answering my questions. I have been going to Dr. Bailey for several years and can’t imagine going to anyone else, quick and proficient service.

Also, I enjoy the friendly reminders about my annual check up which is good because, I get busy and forget. I like the new patient portal option! I just need to get on there and complete it! ???? Despite the previous reviews, and referral from my cousin I visited Dr. Bailey's office today. I was greeted immediately with a smile from front office lady. Completed new patient info, less than 5 minutes visited Dr. Bailey he addressed my concerns and offered to assist me in losing weight, removal from hypertension meds, among other things. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bailey’s for several years, both in the office and the hospital. I’ve had many doctors but none that have helped like Dr. Bailey has. He is very knowledgeable, promotes wellness, and has an excellent bedside manner. I have referred many friends and family members to him and will continue referring!

I wanted to support an African American doctor in my city and settled on Dr. Bailey. He has a very good personality and demeanor, but his lack of punctuality and questionable billing raises questions for me. To have a heallth information questionnaire for my insurance renewal filled out during a appointment that I already had, he was going to charge me $35 per sheet. This was nothing more than blood pressure and weight checks, nothing time consuming or not part of a standard wellness visit. I then went to my past doctor and he did it free of charge. On another occasion I showed up for a appointment that was scheduled for me 9:30 am and sat there for an hour without any explanation for the long wait. I have gone to plenty of Dr's and not experienced this. No one acknowledged me until I got up and walked out of the office. And then it was with a text message and not an actual phone call.
