This place is a JOKE Show up for 8am appointment. There’s 6 people in front of me, they open at 8am. Waited til after 11am. Stupid girl at counter says: We didn’t see you, besides you signed in on the early appointment scheduled, we started using the 11am schedule now. That’s just one instance of 8-9 before I got a REAL DOCTOR and STAFF that gives a s_it. This place should be shut down. I see complaints about Rx’s. Same experience here. Raleys pharmacy at 10:30am said they’ve been trying to reach the office since 8am, answer machine is still on. I drive to Mercy Ct and stand in line behind ONE person, that person isn’t even a patient, she’s friends with the same stupid girl at the desk. After waiting 5 minutes listening to them Chit Chat I spoke up. Asked why they’re NOT ANSWERING the phone. Stupid girl goes over the the answer machine, laughs and says “Oh, we forgot to turn off the answer machine this morning” Yes, all true. Outstanding Doctor, Just needs a new Staff up at the front office, They look at iphones and ignore people waiting in lines. The Girls up front don't answer the phone and most of the time are Rude.

Had an appointment for 10:45. Didn't see the doctor until 12:00. I was supposed to have a prescription for antibiotics sent to Safeway pharmacy and I checked back multiple times and no response from the doctors office and Safeway hadn't gotten the prescription several hours later. Will not go back that doctor for any reason.

I was assigned Dr Banda by my plan, "Anthem Blue Cross" I absolutely loved him. He is a great Doctor, unlike many other doctors I've had in the past that usually rush me through the visit and don't actually listen. So many times I've been to doctors that already have it made up in their mind how they want to diagnose me without even listening to what I have to say and nothing ever gets treated properly. I loved that he wasn't like that. THAT BEING SAID... don't sign up with him because the reception area staff is lazy, they don't return calls, they act like they don't want you there, they act like you are a nuisance, they act like their time is more important than yours, they talk and gab the whole time you are there and won't buckle down and get things moving efficiently and you are left there to wait for hours for your appointment. They are rude unfriendly and full of themselves. For AN ENTIRE MONTH/TWICE A WEEK, I left messages saying that my meds were almost out, and that I needed him to sign my disability paperwork and I was having stomach pain and they never called me back.... NEVER! Doc Banda said he was willing to sign the disability paperwork after looking at the MRI, however, I made the mistake of switching to another doctor before having him sign the paperwork because those wenches in the front wouldn't let me get with him about it or even call me back, (I guess I should have walked in then, instead of switching doctors first, but WHO HAS TO DRIVE 20 miles to make an appointment after calling for a month with no call back?) I was upset. But I decided to walk into their office with fruit from my tree and a smile to ask if they would ask Dr Banda to sign the paperwork and they said they couldn't because He wasn't my doctor anymore. They wouldn't let me talk to him. In my opinion they were keeping him from me so he wouldn't know how I was being treated. I explained to them how many messages I left and all the lady at the window would say to me was...and I quote... "Well, I never heard any of the messages myself, I don't know what to tell you", then she told me she wasn't the person who does call backs. I asked her if she would find out about it and she said they were too busy and that she was sorry. I said goodbye and walked out and I cried in my car for an hour before I was able to drive away, you have no idea the disability I'm living with and how hard it's been to get this going. The new doctor I have is making me go through all that crap over again and I'm going to lose part of my settlement due to lapse of time. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Banda and The whole staff. Caitlin consistently answers all my questions before and after making my appointment. Dr. Banda provides a safe, understanding, sympathetic, private practice, and always accompanies his diagnosis with standard of treatment suggestions in addition to homeopathic recommendations. He is the first Doctor I have ever had that concentrated on wellness of the mind, body, and soul. They can do the labs in house so there is no other drive needed. He is worth the wait!! The Doctor and office staff gossip about patients in the back

The most irrespectful place! Waiting more than 2 hours EVERY visit! Very hard to schedule appointments, even though I was in the emergency and I need a fast referral to Neurologist, but they scheduled me two weeks later THEN they called the same day, two hours before my appointment, left a message saying we cancelled your appointment and we'll contact you in 24 hours to schedule another appointment and never called back till now, for more than a week, and they are not answering when we called! Very poor customer services! The frontdesk receptionist is not friendly nor helpful.. The Doctor doesn't know what he's doing!! ive been to doctor banda for 2 years now. Theyve given me test results over the phone which is illegal. I suffer from severe neck pain and they misdiagnosed me for a year and a half with scoliosis. Put me on a bunch of meds for the pain then out of the blue just stopped prescribing them because my scoliosis all the sudden doesnt exist. He just writes prescriptions and doesnt think. I always feel like im consoling the staff just so i can be seen close to my appointment time. Went in recently due to sever swelling in my neck and he says "i dont see any swelling, hold your head straight " and procedes to twist my neck even though i told him it hurt. I went home and cried for an hour. He doesnt listen, he doesnt order the correct tests, his staff is over emotional, and patients information is spread out everywhere. I am surprised this office has stayed afloat so long. Im done seeing him and im contemplating filing a complaint because im in a lot worse shape then when i first walked in there. Dont take meds from him without researching first. He has prescribed me a deadly combination before and it wasnt pointed out to me until i filled them at the pharmacy and the pharmacist told me. Don't believe the other review sites! Google and YellowPages are the only ones not skewed in favor of the doctor. This is easily the most horrible experience we have EVER had. Where do I begin? I guess the office staff is as good a place to start as any. Besides having terrible phone skills (they actually hung up on me on purpose. Twice!) finally got hold of Betsy who actually answered the phone and spoke to me. Once in the office expect to wait for HOURS. Literally, hours. And, don't even think about complaining or the entire staff (excluding Betsy) including the good Dr Banda will blackball you. I mean they will treat you like the lowest of low. Including holding up prescriptions, hanging up on you and generally refusing to meet your needs in any way. We've never been treated so badly. If this is the future of healthcare, I'm moving to Mexico. At least they are still courteous. Stay away! Don't believe the other review sites! Doctor Banda is nothing but a CROOK!! Your waisting your time, energy, and LIFE if you are going to have him as your doctor! He is doing a lot of things illegally in his office. A pill doctor is all he and everyone in his office is, and WILL get caught eventually. The wait time in the waiting room varies up to 1 to 3 HOURS. Its insaine! Then,, once you do get in a room its another hour or 2 before he comes in to only spend 5 minutes with you to tell you he doesn't have your test results or whatever your needing, every single time. All he has to say is, I don't know, shrugging his shoulders. If you need some information sent somewhere you literally have to call them 100 times, if your not disconnected every time from being put on hold for so long that it disconnects you. You have to go up to his office personally to get and transfer your information, basically babying them because they can't do their jobs! I can't believe this practice is still open! He is nothing but a PILL DOCTOR He writes people prescriptions of whatever they want as long as they 'pay' him too. Without even visiting the patients, they just walk in the door, go to the counter, tell them what pills they want, pay their fee and walk right out the door without ever even seeing him. This doctor IS NOT board certified so he cannot be reported to the board unfortunately. As one who has had to spend many hours in medical practices for cancer, kid's sick, etc- and professional medical experience (I'm a CLS and nursing student), these ratings are unfortunately highly accurate. I seen this doctor once after having to change insurances. I experienced every scenario mentioned here (except patients begging for pain killers). In fact, I went in for a knee problem. Did not ask for a rx but walked out with a rx for a painkiller. Personally I do not take them but respect others who may need them. Doctor has sign posted near front door that he will not prescribed vicodin and that is a good thing but certainly most painkillers are not harmful or addicting. Educating the patient on their proper use is mandated and this doctor does not do that. I was given a rx with no direction o even a check on my rx allergies! He is a walking lawsuit. Not all pain killers are created equal so the previous poster's post comes from an area of ignorance. Probably written by one of the staff quite frankly as I saw one website where every single rating was obviously written by the staff or the doctor himself. This doctor has a "third-world" attitude and all that goes with it. No respect for patients, or humans at that. He would be better off practicing medicine in a group practice where he can be monitored but wait, I think he came from that situation. It might be why he is out on his own. Makes sense. In the 2 1/2 hours I sat in his office, I had the chance to see a lot of all that was posted here and I assure you I am not addicted to drugs. I heard a breast cancer patient upset because referrals were not done. I heard the management staff in the back scrambling to find the paperwork to no avail. One assistant and the doctor speak only spanish in front of patients. Sanitation protocols not followed by staff at any point in the office. I was told I'd have a referral. Two months later and have yet to have one. I read these reviews before going in for my appointment so I knew what to expect. They said I'd be given a referral and I just knew better. I have been seeing this doctor for 2yrs and I am sick & tired of chasing him down for my prescriptions. And everytime i've gone to his office I have to wait 3 1/2 hrs to see the doctor for 15mins or less. This place is aweful. The staff do nothing but make it all worse. Scheduling many patients at the same appointment times. Ignoring the phones & not filling prescriptions for patients. Everything posted in the reviews are true! Spare yourself the aggravation. I advise anyone and everyone to contact the medical board and report this doctor and his office if you do not get your prescriptions or your referral. Paper work seems to get lost or misplaced all the time. Doctor makes you think he will get right on things to help you just to make you think that you will get the help that you need but then nothing happens. You wait months and months until you call them again and again to find out whats taking so long. Then they tell you that you have to be seen again or get records and still have to wait months and months. Do not waste anymore of your time like I have mine for a year now. I have been going to Dr. Banda for over a year now and I am so amazed by The care I receive. Even The fact that they get super busy often, they still manage to go above and beyond. His team of girls that work the reception desk are the nicest and hardest working I've ever seen. didnt seem interested in helping me.. never returned over 20 phone calls. referred me to a specialist,and said there let me no who and when in a week that was over 2 months ago.. and over a hr wait on average in waiting room so a trifecta of awfulness lol.. the nurses were only bright spot for me

I called his office (my insurance has me assigned to him as a patient) after being in the Emergency Department the night prior - his office tells me that because i was in the ER i do not need to be seen, i told them the ER told me to follow up within 48 hours and i was in a lot of pain - to which Dr. Banda himself got on the phone and told me if i couldn't be at his office in 15 minutes then he could not see me.
