Dr Achilles is a very kind and great at listening to his patients. He also is realistic and lays everything out for you very clearly. I would highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Achilles since 2016. He gives me the impression that he cares for my overall health as well as how I am doing as a person. He impresses me with how well he recalls things that I originally thought was small talk, but he asks about on following visits. I would refer him to anyone.

I really appreciate Dr Achilles and his staff. I had to change physicians due to the surgery center not being on my insurance. His staff promptly returned my call. Dr Achilles quickly reviewed my records and I was scheduled for my procedure.

I was seeing Dr. Keeton for several years, until he had his heart attack. When he left the group I was given to Dr A and was impressed with him right away. I have had back problems since 1983 when I fell down 26 wooden steps on my tail bone, all the way down, and carrying my 9 mo old son. Thank goodness he was not injured. I have fallen many times since then and he ALWAYS makes sure I get the proper care. I am very pleased at the service I receive from Dr Achilles the and entire office! Dr. Achilles is an awesome doctor. He is always kind, mild mannered, and attentive as well as the staff. He actually listens and offers advice accordingly. I would definitely recommend the services here.

Dr. Achilles recommended that I have a steroid injection in my lower back to alleviate pain. I was quite afraid, as I have a phobia to needles. He listened to my concerns, gave me light anesthesia to help me calm, and finished the injection very quickly. Best news? It worked! I highly recommend him -- he is skilled, knowledgeable, and caring.

I desperately needed my pain mgt. transferred to this doctor and after a week of getting all the proper paperwork faxed over to this doctor I was told it had to go through"review"and that was just too get approved for an appointment with no guarantee that he would even still accept me as a patient, I have fibromyalgia, systemic lupus, crippling osteo-arthritis with spinal disc dessication disease,I've had9surgeries since2009 to repair, rebuild and replace joints and to stabilize my spine so I may walk and be a productive member of society, it just so happens that I require some opiod pain mgt. for all of these problems 2of which theres no cure and no real management for except to control the extreme pain... After2weeks of waiting and calling and waiting and calling more I found another Dr. And needed my records transferred back to my surgeon who is trying their best to get me back over to PA in mgt. Dr. As per new federal laws and today I called back by Teresa who finally tells me that they have decided they will refuse me as a patient because I kept calling them asking for an answer because I've been out of my pain meds for over2weeks now and I'm back in my wheelchair since the pain has become so extreme I can't even walk anymore... This doctor does not care one bit about any real patients or the pain they are in he must get off on allowing people to be tortured by pain and I'll bet he even laughs at the misery of real genuine patients who have actual documented medical that they can prove, I know there is an opiod epidemic and I get that but that's no excuse to torture real actual patients who need that small amount of it to have relief so that we can live a somewhat normal life and be actual productive members of society today..... I recently had the unpleasant experience of a ruptured lumbar disc. I was referred to Dr. Achilles for epidural steroid injections. I found his bedside manner to be excellent, and visits were quick. I had three shots over a 6 week period. I was able to avoid microdiscectomy and I can say I am now symptom free.
