My foot had basically collapsed. My tendons were torn, my ligament in my arch was torn, the bones in the top of my foot were touching the floor. Dr. Ferguson took xrays and actually sat down with me to explain my condition. He also carries a skeleton foot with him to give better details. The surgery was complicated and had a long recovery, but today, I am back to exercising and getting around great. If I had put off the surgery, my outcome would have been a lot worse. Off the Clock Hero: Dr. Ferguson rescued my toe from certain demise after an unfortunate party mishap. He was quick to diagnose, treat, and adminsiter top-notch care using racecar bandaids (initially) and (later) the very best of treatment options. He was patient, caring, and even offered refreshments. After his superior care, I was well prepared to make a lengthy roadtrip with my driving foot intact. Only hours later, and I’m toe-tally fine. I can only hope my next injury is half as pleasant.

My surgery went great and Dr. Ferguson was on point every step of the way during my recovery.

Dr. Ferguson is everything a good physician should be! He is knowledgeable, accomplished, kind, and caring. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities.

Dr. Ferguson has one of the best bedside manners I had ever experienced with a Doctor. I had ankle surgery 2017 with no issues and would highly recommend him for any Foot/Ankle surgery that needed to be done.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast KOC and Dr Ferguson looked at my toe in Dr Ferguson did surgery to remove an airsoft pellet within an hour of me arriving. Dr. Ferguson was awesome. His repair of my torn ankle ligaments was masterful a d without complications. I was back on my feet within a short time and haven't had any troubles in the 3 months since. Equally as important as his surgical work, his personality and bedside manner are very cordial. I felt confident in his abilities from the first time I met him. I felt comfortable going into my surgery. His concern for my well-being felt genuine. If you ever have the misfortune of injuring your foot or ankle, Dr. Chad Ferguson is who you want fixing it. Dr. Ferguson was a toddler when my husband was in an accident in 1989. He was a logger, cut a tree, it fell on him and nearly severed his leg. Dr.Jackson and Dr. Barron saved his leg. 19 plus surgeries later we met Dr. Ferguson. My husband has always been in pain but in 2016 it became unbearable. Dr. Ferguson was able to operate for that condition and do things that weren’t possible in 1989. He was able to surgically allow my husband to move his locked foot!! I need to write more. I would recommend Dr. Ferguson to anyone in my family. He was very straightforward and cared about my well-being. I was more than just a number and he did everything possible to get me back to living like I wanted.

I went to an urgent care clinic for a broken toe and they signed me up for a follow up here. I got a bill for hundreds of dollars for them to look at my toe and say, "yep, it's broken."

We have been more than satisfied. We would recommend him to absolutely anyone. At first he took a conservative approach, which we liked. But when we got to surgery, we had enough trust in him that we were completely on board! -Mom of a 17 year old

Dr. Ferguson exceeded all of my expectations! I required two surgeries due to the amount of work I needed done and, although I'm still recovering, I couldn't be happier. He explained everything clearly, was very attentive, and helped me set realistic expectations. I hope I won't ever need foot and ankle surgery again but, if I do, I will absolutely see Dr. Ferguson again. Great doctor with a great sense of humor about things, too.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ferguson at Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic. He's a first class guy. Very attentive, smart and has perfect bedside manner. From start to finish I was extremely pleased with my time spent seeing Dr. Ferguson.

He is a great doctor. He has done wonders for me and my foot. I had surgery, then fell and hurt my foot all over again. He fixed me up again and everything healed wonderfully. I even recommended him to my daughter for her own foot problems.

I am so excited to let people know about Dr. Chad Ferguson I had a massive stroke at 36 which cause great damage to tendons ligaments and much more at 60 now I continue to have falls and did more damage I made an appointment with Dr. Ferguson who took time to explain what all he found he was very up front explaining all he would have to do to repair, I have had the surgery liked 4 in one and I am now walking on a very sturdy foot everything went as planned. I love this place!

I would suggest him to anybody. He's a great doctor and I wish I had found him earlier for my first foot surgery.

I have had many surgical procedures and Dr. Ferguson has been the best surgeon and had the best personality of any physician I have ever been treated by.

I am so glad I chose Dr. Ferguson. I was impressed with his credentials at the beginning and am even more impressed with the results. I fell off a ladder, he fixed my broken foot and if I fell off a ladder again today, I would be right back in to see Dr. Ferguson. He has such a great personality along with his intelligence, and I would gladly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Ferguson is simply awesome. I broke both of my ankles and I don't think my surgery/recovery could have gone any better. I was so pleasantly surprised that I even gave him a hug at my final appointment!!!

Dr. Ferguson did such a wonderful job repairing my achilles. He was so confident and intelligent, and had me back playing golf much quicker than I ever anticipated... I now feel so much better while on the golf course and I even had a hole-in-one after some time after the surgery!

I received a total ankle replacement by Dr. Ferguson. I was extremely pleased by everything. I would highly recommend and have already recommended him to family members and friends because the treatment I have received. Regarding the total ankle replacement there was not a lot of information out there about them so I did not realize what it entailed. But, he gave great detail about the surgery and aftercare. I hope everyone will become educated prior to have this surgery.

Dr. Ferguson has been fabulous!! During each visit, test, treatment and surgery I have felt confedent in Dr Ferguson's ability and choice of treatment. He has such a friendly personality and genuinely cares about the patient!! He tries his best to keep on schedule and does well with keeping office visits wait times to a minimum. Dr. Ferguson took an conservative approach by initially prescribing physical therapy. At the conclusion, he recommended surgery; but presented several other non-evasive options. Surgery was conducted in late February, 2017 for a left gastric recession, PIP resection arthroplasty and FDL tendon transfer. During the recuperative process, his primary nurse, Meagan Perkey, was quick to return my phone calls. Each week I have made progress and able to walk across hard floors barefoot without pain.

Good experience overall -- knew what he was doing and talked through options well. Had a previous surgery with a different dr that didn't go well, and needed it fixed but he advised not to and gave some PT. Wish he could've done the surgery...

Dr. Ferguson is a caring doctor who breaks down medical information and terminology in a way that shows he cares about his patients. I recommend him highly!

Dr. Ferguson listens carefully to your needs, is very knowledgeable about my questions and concerns, and gives fair feedback on the pros and cons of any decisions that might be needed. He's pleasant to talk with and values running on time to the best that he can.

Dr. Ferguson is outstanding. His honesty, coupled with kindness really helped me "want" to cooperate with ongoing rehabilitation. He went overboard in assuring I understood not only his diagnosis, but the prognosis and step-by-step process needed to regain my previous lifestyle. His office management is exceptional.
