Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also referred to as rehabilitation medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with physical disabilities. These disabilities may arise from conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system such as neck and back pain, sports injuries, or other painful conditions affecting the limbs, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. I wanted to taper off of opiates and was ignored by Lacount. Do not see her if getting off meds is a goal. i did get off of them with another practice.

I have worked with Dr Lacount for years, and have seen her give poor patient care to numerous patients. She refuses to get patients off medications when they have life threatening complications from the medications. (ie. severe bloating (200lbs +), arrhythmia, heart attacks, prolonged qtc intervals, and tooth decay caused by medication). She refuses to use alternate medication to help treat patients, and has a poor bedside manner. She refuses to empower patients and give them information.
