Zero stars if I could. My husband is a patient of hers. He was due for surgery and my husband had asked her what if/any of his medications he should take prior to surgery. She advised him to take one of his meds. Just 20 minutes prior to surgery the anesthesiologist told us he should NOT have taken that medicine because it would cause "serious complications" during surgery, and she asked who told him to take it, we said it was Dr. Karls. I strongly advised my husband to find a new primary, I don't trust this doctor at all. Zero stars if I could. My husband is a patient of hers. After moving to Twin Lakes, I found myself in need of a new primary care physician. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Karls. In addition to having excellent credentials she is also easy to talk to and a compassionate Caregiver. Her grounded, common sense approach is always appreciated. Her suggestions with regard to my care reflect her ability to listen to me as an individual patient. We are very lucky to have her in Twin Lakes as a part of our Healthcare Community. I found my new PCP, felt very comfortable with her and confident in her skills.

Husband and I have been seeing Dr. Karls and her staff for 15 years. Always accurate diagnosis (thank god nothing ever bad) - would recommend.

Very poor service. Takes little interest in her patience health, little to no follow up. I strongly suggest anyone find a different doctor.

I would not recommend her, Almost impossible to get an appt. STaff at front desk could care less about getting you into appt.- when you call for a visit they tell you its a month out- but nobody is ever in the parking lot. Not recommended at all.
