Had the most wonderful experience here with my breast reduction. Everyone was very kind and helpful, they were always willing to answer any of my questions and did not dissmiss any concerns I had. My healing was pretty easy and I am very happy with my results. I wish I would have done this sooner, this surgery really changed my life

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Chalekson. I am currently 3 months post-op from receiving 770 cc silicone implants. The staff is amazing, positive, and kind. Dr. Chalekson is extremely professional. I am more than blown away by the results of my procedure and I have felt amazing since immediately after my surgery. I drive from South county to Dr Chaleksons office for my facials and filler. It is absolutely worth the drive because the entire staff is compassionate, caring and so experienced. Doctor gave me a extended abdominoplasty last May. I couldn't be happier with the results!!! After four pregnancies and three c-sections, my stomach needed some serious help. I have abs!!! Had my implants removed and a breast lift. What a wonderful job he did. I am beyond happy. The girls in the office are great and make you feel so at ease. Will be having my upper arms and implants put in by Dr. Chameleon. Can't recommend him enough. Great experience.

Went to Dr Chalekson for gluteal lift.Poor patient bedside manner, condensending, if anything goes wrong it's your fault, can't leave the room fast enough! Inept care of sutures coming apart. Sutures without numbing first with lidocaine. Witness by his assistant. . God forbid should you be a senior citizen with a hip prosthesis. Bacteria from gluteal tears, improperly managed resulted in three hip replacements, intensive care, potent IVs through a picc line resulting in renal failure. 5 months of Hell. Bad business practice. I scheduled an initial consulting appt and I had to put down a $100 as a hold. if I ended up using Dr. Chalekson, they would apply the $100 toward my service. Understood. On the day of my appt., I ended up in the ER and my husband called to cancel a few hours before my scheduled appt. When I called to reschedule, they told me that my $100 would now be used for my initial appt and would not be rolled into the cost of service, even after I explained my situation. Emergencies happen. I even said I am happy to provide my hospital receipts but it didn't matter. The scheduling person told me that I would be wasting the doctor's time now that I have had two consulting appointments and therefore, I must be charged $100. I will be looking elsewhere. I was looking for a diamond in the rough, so to speak. Prior to landing on Dr. Chalekson’s doorstep I knew I was looking for more than just someone with the right initials after their name. I needed caring, talent and personality. You see this wasn’t my first rodeo.. In 2006 I had my first breast augmentation (34a to 34/36c) up in Oregon with a skilled surgeon but he had ZERO bedside manner - I mean come on, my girls and I are getting poked and prodded, can I atleast get a knock knock joke?? Fast forward to 2017ish, I ended up having an explant (personal reasons, nothing to do with implants). Almost immediately I missed having implants! Hmm, nope I was not alright with being itty bitty (insert country song). I waited until the end of 2019 to find a Dr. in my area who could work with my now itty bitty’s to create something that felt natural but increased size. Before my surgery I wasn't able to walk around a block, get in a pool, clean my house etc. I am so happy with Dr. Chalekson and his staff. I go to Dr. Chalekson for my lips. I’ve had him do them on 4 separate occasions. He helped educate me on which product would be best for what goals I was trying to achieve for my lips during my first visit! I ended up going with Juvederm Ultra XC and I have never looked back. My lips stay full for about a year (I know it can vary per person but mine last wonderfully)! Each time I think they can’t look any better and somehow he does it! My lips are full and beautiful year round. He never over fills them or makes them look too big for my face. They’re shaped great and he always makes sure you leave the office happy. My bruising and swelling is always minimal as well, he’s careful with your mouth so you don’t have a extended recovery time. Staff is friendly and need to be for damage control. Dr. is arrogant and condescending. Blames patient when things go wrong. eg repeated suture line failures. Gluteal lift a disaster. Developed hip infection Went to him years ago for facelift that had complications. Had to go to Beverly Hills Caliber Plastic Surgeon to repair, now my butt lift. There is a reason the elite do not come to Templeton CA for surgery. see him.

Dr. Chalekson was one of the two surgeons participating in my mastectomy, and then he performed my breast reconstruction. I was completely satisfied with the entire process and the outcome. He and his office made sure the experience was as simple, compassionate and low-drama as humanly possible. There's really no other plastic surgeon in SLO county to trust with this procedure and long process.

A great experience with Dr Chalekson and his staff. I was diagnosed for a second time with breast cancer and facing a mastectomy with reconstruction. Dr Chalekson has been wonderful through this experience. I felt from day one very confident that he would be able to perform the surgery I would need. In addition to the primary surgery, I needed a breast reduction on the other side which I just completed that portion and am very happy with my results.

He took extra time with me explaining cosmetic injections. I knew I didn't want a frozen look and he made sure it was completely natural.
