Extremely professional, and the absolute best at what he does. Incredible staff, with a clean and welcoming environment. I have known Dr. Kaner for 30+ years and he has been incessantly thorough and competent. I would recommend anyone to visit.

Dr. Kaner and his staff were wonderful as they did an extensive amount of work on my teeth today. I was comfortable and without pain as Dr. Kaner completed several procedures within one sitting.

Needed immediate work due to work injury. Could not be happier with the result. The entire office staff was excellent. Dr. Kaner, knowing that i am incredibly uncomfortable in a dentists office, was patient and polite. He explained each step, and why it was necessary. Simply put, the place and the doctor are outstanding.

Dr. Kaner was very exacting in his diagnoses and clinical evaluation. He uses digital radiography and cat scans to make sure his work is extremely precise. Also he works very closely with the referring prosthodontists so the out come of surgery is made easier for rehabilitation. His dedication to excellence is the best I ever encountered. By the way I personally am a dentist.

Dr. Kaner is a fantastic periodontist. If you’re in need of top-notch treatment, make an appointment ASAP. I came in for a cleaning and Dr. Kaner noticed a problematic area of my gum that covered an implant. Several other periodontists had assured me it was normal despite my pain. As it turns out the implant failed and needed replacing. This was in an area of my mouth which already had endured several previous surgeries. Add to that a high smile line that displayed that gum area for all to see. It was a rough case in terms of the medical and esthetic concerns. Dr. Kaner rolled up his sleeves and agreed to take on a case where there was no instruction manual. I should also add that I’m pretty sensitive to pain and he never once made me feel bad about it. Dr. Kaner worked magic. I cannot believe that I’m not in pain anymore and he made my gum and tooth look even better than before. I feel so lucky to have a periodontist who only wants the best for me and who I know I can trust.

Dr Kaner performed a bone graft which is a very difficult procedure awhile back before the pandemic started. I waited until now and when the doctor checked he said my bone grew beautifully and was ready. I had almost no bone before he did the graft . Yesterday I went to have the my implants put into my jaw. He is so precise and exacting and he did it to perfection. Analyzing every angle to make sure it was placed properly . I’m very happy to have him doing it for me. He’s an excellent periodontist !! I kept getting gum infections. My regular dentist would look at it and repeatedly told me to wash my mouth out with a baking soda wash. My regular dentist was on vacation when I had a horrendous amount of pain. I called Dr Kaner in an emergency situation because the pain was horrible. He saw me and pulled the tooth which he said had a deep pocket. It had no root left and came out with no effort. The bottom of it looked like a baby tooth as the root had completely rotted away. After that Dr Kaner did 3 surgeries to take care of the other pockets over the next few months and has taken care of my teeth since then. He said that should be my last emergency if I came to him and followed directions. That was over 35 five years ago and I still have all my other teeth. I see him for cleanings every 3 months. The only other work I have had to do were 2 crowns from old fillings that were failing a few years ago. A big thank you to Dr Kaner.

I had huge problems. I lost most of my teeth like my parents and when I went to him, I was miserable. I came in from about 50 miles away and Dr Kaner did a lot of work. After everything healed, I saw a highly recommended prosthodontist in my area that did the tooth work and he said Dr Kaner's work was great. He told me he sends patients with very tough problems into NY to see Dr Kaner . I guess that says it all.

The thought of going through implant surgery was not something I was looking forward to. I’m not the best in a dentists chair. The experience with Dr. Kaner was not only very professional and successful but he made the entire procedure process as anxiety free as possible. I can’t recommend Dr Kaner more highly. He was assisted by Tawana who had a great way about her and was patient, understanding and comforting throughout the procedure and follow up. Before I went to Dr Kaner I went to the dentist as little as possible but he is so gentle and so efficient that I actually, for the first time in my life, stick to a cleaning and check up schedule. His hygienist is great too.

I had to have an urgent surgery for a tooth removal and graft. Dr. Kaner was so amazing and took me in last minute. Right when I walked into the office, the team was very kind and welcoming. Dr. Kaner was incredibly thorough about the process and helped me feel comfortable about the surgery. I felt like because of his experience, he was able to deal with a cyst that had grown into my bone swiftly and however gorey that may sound, I actually left the office feeling calm and confident. As a bonus, Dr. Kaner is really funny too! If you need an extraction this is definitely the place to go to. I had the surgery yesterday and without pain meds I’m already back working today and they have this great post-op app with instructions that I could easily read on my phone. An arrogant Doctor who tried to belittle me and made negative references to my personal dental hygiene, whereas I have a progressive bone disease that is not the result of neglect or poor care. Instead of having compassion, he evinces scorn and derision..his work was judged as deficient and substandard by subsequent doctors.

Dr Kaner is amazingly skilled at implants and all work under the gums. As a sculptor, he has a real 3D sense of how to create something from nothing. I have had an extraction, bone grafting, and an implant so far, and will go back for a sinus lift with full confidence that Dr Kaner knows exactly what he is doing, and that he'll do it perfectly. There's a definite link between the finely detailed sculptures and the agile and deft hands that are the basis for Dr Kaner's skilled work. My dentist told me that only Dr Kaner could have had the amazing outcome that I had. After my bone graft, I had 90% regrowth! Having a small mouth I was also grateful for the agility of his small hands! They are truly talented. His staff was friendly and courteous and all appointments were timely. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Dr. Charles Kaner to anyone in need of dental extractions and/or implants. My case was rather extreme, as I had managed to split a molar right down the middle of the tooth just when I was awaiting the completion of a root canal, and although my dentist and other health professionals had insisted I must have what remained of the tooth extracted, I resisted…for over a year! As a result of my delay, when I finally agreed to allow Dr. Kaner to pull the tooth and attempt the implant, so many changes had occurred within my mouth over the year that passed between the time I had received my initial consultation, and the time of my actual operation, that the prospect of being able to accomplish the implant looked very doubtful. However, as a result of Dr. Kaner’s abilities and persistence, he achieved miracles, and not only did he masterfully accomplish both the extraction and a successful implant, all in one session, but he accomplished this with only a minimal amount of pain. After the surgery, I healed very quickly, and did not even require pain killers or medicine. Dr. Kaner, and his entire staff, were exemplary in every respect, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his expertise. The first things you notice in Dr Kaner's office are the beautiful sculptures. Dr Kaner is the incredibly talented artist. The fine details are amazing. The fine hands that created those beautiful pieces are also the reason he is a very talented surgeon. There's a lot of carryover between the two. According to my dentist, Dr Kaner is the only one who could have provided such a successful outcome. He did bone grafts and restored 90% of the bone loss in my jaw. Lucky to find him. Thanks!

To say I was extremely nervous going into back molar extraction and bone graft would be an understatement. After the procedure, Dr Kaner told me that since he had to rock and roll my tooth from the bone, I may experience some discomfort from all the back and forth, but that some people don't. I thought he was just telling me this so I wouldn't worry. Well, the next day, to my great surprise, I was completely pain-free! No pain-killers, no kidding! Obviously Dr Kaner wiggled the tooth only as much as he had to, and pulled it out straight. Not so easy, I'd imagine. It has been 10 days since that surgery, and tho the area is still a bit tender and some stitches remain, I am able to eat almost anything and I have no pain or discomfort. Dr. Kaner is a real expert in implant surgery. I happen to have a very difficult implant case as my teeth roots were very close and just a few dentists could operate the implant successfully. Dr. Kaner was recommended by my own dentist and I am really really glad that he has done the implant for me. It was such a difficult surgery and he did a terrific job. I do not trust doctors very easily but I really think that you can choose Dr. Kaner as your dentist and be totally confident that he will do a great job.
