I am very happy to be able to give Dr. Lawrie a 5-star rating. He corrected a previous surgery which went wrong, destroyed my hip and made one leg more than an inch shorter than the other. You cannot go wrong with this doctor. He is very knowledgeable, human and easy to talk to. You could not be in better hands. In my opinion he is the top leading sports medical surgeons in the US and internationally. I was operated on by Lyle Micheli, MD, one of worlds leading authority in sport's medicine 30 years prior and not same surgical site (same leg).

He replaced my right hip 1½ years. Now I need him for my left hip. He did such a good job on my right I figured we could duplicate it on the left. Now your in Miami. Oh well, good luck.

Superb Doctor, impressive results. There is a little anxiety about facing hip replacement surgery in your early 80s, even after having both knees and a hip replaced a decade ago. Dr. Lawrie prepared me well with his candid appraisal of what to expect and the approach he would take based on his experience of the current technology and methodology. This preliminary visit relaxed me for the surgery. The surgery was very successful with no complications and he visited me in late afternoon and again early that evening, demonstrating his concern for my recovery. Early the next morning, he visited me again to ensure I slept well during the night. Later that day I was able to walk down the floor of the hospital with ease with a walker and was released to return home in the late afternoon. The therapy went well also, with constant progression week by week. After seven weeks, I was not only walking comfortably and confidently without support, but even climbing stairs in a normal fashion wit

Dr. Lawrie and Simone were incredible. From the first consult visit to the post op visit, the experience was amazing. I couldn't speak highly enough on how well very thing went. They were compassionate, empathetic, supportive and reassuring. I would direct anybody who needed hop replacement to Dr. Lawrie. If needed, I will travel to see Dr. Lawrie to replace the other hip. Although, the BJC Crew were part of the greatness.

I have been crippled for almost 12 years due to two very good so called Drs. First time I have talked to. Dr Lawrie that gave me encouragement that he could help me. He was referred by a friend who once practiced with him at same hospital. It is like the Lord opened these doors and is answering my prayers. It will certainly be a Miracle! To be able to walk long distances became impossible until Dr. Lawrie performed a total hip replacement for me. From the first visit to the last follow up he showed concern and compassion which was matched by all on his staff. In pain from my heel to my shoulder, after the surgery all that was gone. And most amazing to me was that there was no need to take prescription pain medication. All discomfort was taken care of with over the counter meds. I attribute this to Dr. Lawrie's skill in the operating room. I highly recommend Dr. Lawrie, being 100% satisfied with my exerience.

From my first consultation meeting , my hip surgery and post op appointment my experience was positively amazing. I had a total hip replacement in May 2021

I am very happy with my knee replacement and the care I received. Symone was only just a phone call away when I had any questions.

Dr. Lawrie and staff are a top Medical Team, that includes BJ Personal. I would and have recommended Dr. Lawrie to Family and Friends. I can’t thank him enough. I am proof of his Surgery abilities and talents.

Dr. Lawrie is a kind and compassionate doctor who is also top notch in what he does. When I first developed hip issues, I had an appointment to see another doctor in the same office. I needed surgery but that doctor was booked for quite awhile. Dr. Lawrie was new to St Louis and was able to perform the surgery much sooner. Choosing him as my surgeon was the best thing that could have happened to me. A year later, Dr Lawrie replaced my other hip. I’ll be grateful to him forever.

Dr Lawrie has a great "bedside" manner. He is concerned that you get the best information in order to receive the best results of your surgery. Always listens to your concerns and never hurries you through an appointment. I even called the night answering service at 9PM after my surgery and he actually called me back himself. He also has one of the best nurses, Simone Swift, to provide you with any concerns you may have. No matter what time of day you call, if she is not immediately available, she always returns your call and answers any question you have with care.

Dr Lawrie is a very skilled and knowledgeable about what he does. He is an expert in his craft and each surgery is different because he is going to do what is best for each individual patient. Dr. Lawrie performed full knee replacement on both knees (not at the same time) and he personally checked with me on my progress and was pleased on how good I was getting around within a month after surgery. Dr. Lawrie has an awesome bedside manner and he made me feel like more than just a patient. I felt like he has my best interest at heart and if I had any questions or concerns I could bring them to him. He will be honest and true to what he says he will do. I would recommend Dr. Charles Lawrie to anyone that is having full knee replacement surgery. He is the best!!

I had a total left knee replacement on March 26th, 2021, following two years of consultation and observation. The surgery was a success. I was walking normally one month after surgery and better than I had walked in 10 years. Dr. Lawrie and his team were attentive at each stage of the way before the surgery and after it. It was recommended by a member of his team that I do serious pre-operative physical therapy to strengthen my left leg in order to enhance recovery. As predicted my recovery was quicker and more successful than normal. I have only good things to say about Dr. Lawrie and his team. I would recommend them whole-heartedly to family, friends and strangers!

Yes I would Highly recommend Dr Lawrie. In the past year I have had a hip replacement and a Total knee replacement. Both surgeries and recoveries went very well. Doctor Lawrie is very professional and caring. Explains the process and listens and answers your questions. His staff was excellent as well with the same attributes.

Highly recommend Dr Lawrie. He has removed right knee hardware, performed right total knee and right total hip. He has made a great improvement in my quality of life. He is straight forward, honest, caring and very proficient in his craft. He explains the procedures and care very well. Office visits were on time and effective for all of my procedures over the past year.
