Charles C Rizzo

Dr Rizzo is extremely professional. He has been treating my family for over20 years. I find he has a vast knowledge in all areas of Orthopaedic treatment. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Rizzo under any circumstances requiring treatments related to orthopedic injuries or disease.

I see bad reviews but Rizzo was very professional and even avoided surgery choosing physical therapy. Seen him twice and very pleasant on both visits.

Guided to exam room table by staff member. Dr. Rizzo acknowledged me from the doorway asking my symptoms. XRay done. Dr. Rizzo appeared approximately 3 mnutes later at the doorway to exam room and stated bluntly, "you need a total knee replacement. It's bone on bone. There's nothing I can do, it won't get better. I don't do them but someone in the office does." This was before he even looked at or touched my knee, just stood at the doorway as if I were a leper. After a few more sentences, he came in the room, had me bend my knee and continued to state that I needed a total knee. As a nurse, I have met many abrupt physicians with miserable bedside manners but Dr. Rizzo's behavior exceeds any poor behavior I have ever witnessed. While I suspect based on my symptoms that his assessment is accurate, his delivery was deplorable. Called office 3 times within the next week for a copy of my xrays, left messages with radiology with no return calls. Save your co-pay.

Dr. Rizzo did a phenomenal job repairing my rotator cuff and biceps tendon. I will be forever grateful to him and his office staff for a professional and exceptional outcome.

He should be ashamed at how he treats patients. I have been a HCP for over 35 years and cannot believe he treats patients with such disregard and disrespect. He should be reported to the medical board which we may very well do. His treatment to a patient is appalling, specifically today. Do not ever expect him to help you. He needs to have his license removed. Shame on him for giving such a bad name to such a great practice.

I would never recommend Dr. Rizzo. He is not thorough. He presents few options. He minimally addresses issues. Stay away! You can do MUCH better!!!

Have gone to Dr. Rizzo for about a month now have been pleased so far awaiting surgery for my ACL and Meniscus, I feel I am in very capable hands

My young adult son had an appointment with Dr. Rizzo. He was very short, rude and would cut off my son when he talked. He behaved arrogantly and like my son's concerns were not important to him. Dr. Rizzo took an x-ray and had his physician assistant send my son home with dittos of exercises that we already had from looking online. When I express how poor my son was treated to Mary , all I received was a sorry. Don't waste your time or copay on this doctor.

This office has given me the worst medical experience ever. I have never spent so much time and effort to make an appointment with a doctor. I called over 5 times two weeks ago to schedule an appointment. I left 5 different voicemails. I was told by secretaries that an appointment with Dr. Rizzo would be readily available before an appointment with Dr. Glastein. All of my calls after were directed to Dr. Rizzo. Every single time I reached voicemail.

Fixed my knee and shoulder. I feel great . Very grateful for his expertise.

I couldn't be happier with my surgery! This was a shoulder surgery to fix what another doctor said he couldn't fix. I never felt better and was all to work in no time at all

MD was cold and impersonal. Doubt if he spent five minutes with me. Took a quick look at my shoulder, and told me to get Physical Therapy and walked out of the exam room. Facility needs sprucing up.

Terrible. He was flippant and completely MIS diagnosed my knee problem causing me two months of healing time. Office is a mess, not tidy, needs customer focus and a good cleaning. Stay away.
