Dr. Theofilos is a Neurosurgeon. He diagnosed my problem and explained all aspects of it. He recommended surgery. He seemed to be kind, caring, knowledgeable, and intelligent. He does minimally invasive surgery, which is his specialty. He also tried to charge me $25,000 for the surgery, stating that my insurance did not cover minimally invasive surgery. My experience with Doctor Theofilos and the Spine Center was nothing short of Outstanding. I wouldn't go anywhere else for back or neck problems. Dr Theofilos is so upbeat and overflowing with positive energy that you immediately feel that this is the guy you want to do surgery on your back/ neck. After waking up from my surgery all the extreme pain that I was having was gone. I was so happy! I was walking the next day and 6 days later I walked 2 miles in 40 minutes. Not bad for someone who had trouble moving 15 ft to the bathroom. The staff is friendly and competent and I always look forward to my follow up appointments. I’ve been going to Dr. T’s office for about a year and a half. Due to the severity of my case, I needed a doctor who would be patient, kind, and didn’t mind taking a break if things were moving too fast. Dr. T is by far the best spine specialist in FLORIDA. Overall, I had 9 injections which required anesthesia and 6 procedures which also required anesthesia. Every single time I had either a procedure or follow-up, the staff spoke to me like we were family. Since this was my very last procedure “cross fingers” I won’t be seeing them as much but if I’m ever in the area, I have a place to call home. Dr. T - love you my man! Robinx’s 2 - both of you were awesome!! Lisa&Nick - you guys are so good with patients and even though things can get busy, you always keep your same momentum while reassuring the patients comfortability. Diana - never take time off again! The office needs you!! Lol you’re amazing in everything you do. Overall, you’d be an idiot NOT to go to Dr. T and his staff.

every word he spoke was a lie. Please do yourself a favor and do not believe a word that comes from his mouth. the problems with him and his so called minimum invasive procedure are too lengthy to mention here. He could be the worst surgeon the state of Florida.

Dr. T is one of the best doctors for taking all the time that is needed to allow his patients to fully understand the condition and treatment that is needed for full recovery. Dr. T and his entire staff is head and shoulders above all others. Thank you, over and over again.

Dr. Theofilos is an excellent surgeon who changed my life by correcting a very serious neck injury. I underwent neck surgery with him 15 years ago and I continue to have a wonderful result. I appreciate his professionalism and expert surgical skills which coupled with his listening skills makes you feel as you are his only patient. I would recommend him to anyone needing neck or spine surgery.

Dr. Theofolis and his staff are incredible. From my first visit I was treated with extreme professionalism, and cared for with the utmost of respect personally, and to my personal situation. I’ve dealt with every staff member in the office and now I feel as if I’ve known them on a personal level for years. Dr. Theofolis himself has amazing “bedside” manner, he truly cares about his patients. He has sat with me for literally hours explaining all procedures, my surgery, what to expect every step of the way, including calming my fears and anxiety about having to undergo spine surgery. If you have questions after hours he returns calls personally! That is rare of a surgeon, and really speaks volumes on this man and his practice. His experience- education and training are nothing short of impressive. I feel extremely blessed to have been recommended to his office and to call myself one of his patients.

I was in a motor vehicle accident and unfortunately suffered a terrible lower back injury. I was referred to The Spine Center through my attorney. The staff is amazing, the facility is amazing and most of all they truly want to help. I found out after my consult that the person responsible for the accident wasn’t insured and my insurance company Geico had Not informed of my lack of UM somehow. So needles to say, I was not approved for the emergency surgery I need. However, Ivory, Dianne and a few others called me the following day to try and come to a resolution with moving forward on the surgery. I was given some options by the office to try and get this resolved, and I feel good about how great the whole process has been, even though I am nowhere near closer to resolving the issue currently. This is the worst Doctor that I ever met in my life. He's very rude and unprofessional. After 2 hours and 30 minutes wait to see him. He asked me for my CD's, I told him that I didn't know I have to bring it with me. He start yelling, cursing at me. Telling me that I'am bulshitting and need to get the hell out of his place. That just happen right now.

if I took the surgery not covered by my medical insurance I would recover quickly so I came up with 20,000 and took the stem cell surgery big error did not recover quickly my life was misery could not walk or stand for a long time ended up going by ambulance to local hospital because my body was going into shock it is now 9 months and finally recovering it is scary to think that I almost died he didn't even have the courtesy to see me after surgery which took all day never called to see how I was doing was in the hospital three days and never so me and he also collected 8,000 from my insurance that belongs to me I don't want anyone to suffer the way I did I want my money back

Dr Theofilous is a very bright and knowledgeable doctor. He’s kind and clear when explaining things to you. I was very please with his honest advice and will go back there again. The staff is wonderful too.

The new patient coordinator emphasized how important it was to have a current MRI so I had my primary send me for one. Dr. Theofilos was able to tell me what the problem was. I had tried everything I could, therapy, NSAIDs, I had to come to grips with the fact that sadly, only surgery would give me longstanding relief

Dr. Theofilos utilized his very superior knowledge to recommend an innovative minimally invasive degenerative disc surgery along with complimentary healing techniques to speed the healing process. I am deeply grateful for his skill and dedication to moving spinal surgery beyond current basic approaches. His PA, Jay was extremely knowledgable and was instrumental in facilitating terrific patient care and integration of all parts of my treatment from diagnosis to post operative recovery. Diana was not only highly competent as a surgical coordinator, but showed genuine concern, that my surgery proceeded. Before surgery, i was in extreme pain, not sleeping more than 2 hours and not able to care for myself!!! Within 3 days after my operation, I was on my feet, almost pain free and walking around caring for myself. The miraculously rapid recovery is life changing. The personal care and compassionate treatment I received was extraordinary. I unconditionally recommend Dr Theofilos!!!

I recently saw Dr Theofilos for the first time. I was very pleased as he was very personable and was not in a hurry. He spent time talking to me about my problem and ways to address it. I felt very comfortable with him and would recommend him to anyone who needs a Neurologist/surgeon.

Dr. Theofilos is a Godsend! I can’t thank him and his staff enough for the superior care they have provided me with. In severe back pain due to degenerated disc disease and herniated discs, there have been times where I have literally been crying in front of my wife, on my bedroom floor at 3 a.m. writhing in pain. Specifically about a month before my daughter was born, I could barely move. I was so concerned about my overall health, and specifically how I would even be able to care for a newborn in the condition I was in. What I appreciated the most about Dr. Theofilos was that it was more than clear to me that surgery was the last option. I was treated with a Medrol dose pack and physical therapy but that alone was not enough. I then had epidurals at the site and these injections literally saved me. The difference within days was incredible, and here I am two and half years later, pain free. The experience with Dr. Theofilos was first class and it is more than clear that he is phenomenal at what he does and truly cares for the well-being of his patients. I cannot recommend him enough. I have had pain for 2 years from an auto accident. Dr. Theofolis was recommended to me due to his non-invasive techniques. I am self employed, the surgery I needed was coming with 6 to 8 wk down times, unacceptable in my profession, so I put off surgery. I had two disks replaced in my neck, discharged in 1 day, off pain meds in 48 hrs, out of a brace and cleared to go back to work in 4 days. He is nothing short of a miracle for me. My friends , family and staff are amazed at my recovery.

I am so grateful there is a spine doctor of the calibre of Dr. Theofilos in Palm Beach County. I would not trust my neck & back to anyone else. Besides being utterly competent, knowledgeable, accomplished and recognized as a leader in his field, he is one of those rare surgeons who treats the whole me, not just the injury, with patience and compassion. 3 hour wait for all my visits. Charged for a no show appoinment through my insurance and it wasn't true. Going to another doctor near by and what a diffference!!

This guy is the worst in regards to manners in the world and so is his office staff. The wait time to even get to see him can take up to three hours . He will then stroll in and act like nothing is the matter in terms of waiting for him for a quarter of the day. I had an appointment I couldn't make it he built me because I wasn't able to make it in addition to that I was supposed to come back and see him and was away on business during the holiday season and he then tells me that I am not serious enough to be a patient of his . His staff person that I spoke with was very pleasant and tried her best to help me. Unfortunately, Dr. Theofilos does not accept Veteran's Choice patients any longer. I mentioned that I also have Humana Advantage and was told they would look into taking me on under their program. Sounds like all of this is a business decision...and I do not blame the Dr. Sorry, however that the Choice program is not going to work well for VA patients. We chose to serve and did not have the luxury of making serving a business decision. Thanks to the Dr's. staff for their kindness. He is a fortunate man. i was exercising and "blew out my back." I couldn't even go to work. Dr. Theofilos' office got me in to see him within 24 hours. I was back to work shortly thereafter WITHOUT surgery. He knew exactly what to do in the most conservative way to get me better. I would see him again at any time.

As a New Yorker I was a bit nervous but I made a preliminary appointment with Dr. Charles S. Theofilos of the Palm Beach Spine Specialists in Palm Beach Gardens in spite of the negative items that I read about the Dr. and staff on the internet. I would like to tell you from the moment I called and was put through to Ivory, it was a great experience. She was as polite and helpful as could be, and made certain that I understood the paperwork and called to confirm the appointment. At the office, the young woman at the front desk was just as nice and helpful in spite of being 20 min early. Just as polite was a new young woman that took my vitals. When I got to the P.A. phase of the visit, a young man named Chase this Pa did a thoroughly professional job and was as polite as could be. My next step was to plan for the MRI. It was late Friday and receptionist was gone but the woman from accounting filled in, she was unconcerned about the late hour and set everything up. I have not yet met Dr.Theolifos but I can tell you as a businessman in 4 states and two continents, they run a first class operation. My daughter was involved in an accident on 95. Very convenient as xrays and MRIs could be done in the office. Dr. Theofilos was very caring and the staff courteous and professional in accommodating her tight schedule. The laser treatment that was recommended as part of her treatment plan was very beneficial to her overall healing.

After experiencing severe back pain, Dr. T suggested a series of 3 epidural steroid injections. The results from these injections have been amazing. It's like Dr T gave me my quality of life back. I am extremely grateful to Dr T. He is a fantastic doctor who takes time to listen and really cares about his patients.

I 1st went to see Dr.T for stem cell therapy for a cervical herniated disc Above 2 fused discs It was too late for that disc so he suggested ADR to protect the other discs from getting worse I had the surgery 3/26 & I am feeling so much better Sharp pain & tremors are gone I am still doing PT to get even stronger He is awesome and I am looking fwd to getting stem cell for my other discs that r damaged He is out of network for me but he is so worth it. Dr. Theofilos and his staff were very open in describing all my options with regard to my back condition. There was no pressure and I felt totally confident in my decision to get cortisone injections versus surgery. The administration of those shots was efficient and incredibly effective. I personally think Dr. Theofilos is incredibly talented and I completely trust him with my spine care. He has performed surgery on two of my friends and they rave about him. I recently received 2 lumbar injections under anesthesia and highly recommend him. He might have a busy office but I will gladly wait as long as needed for my name to be called. Dr. Theofilos has taken incredible care of me AND my husband. We are both back to work and feeling better then ever. Would recommend him to anyone with back or neck pain.

My husband is in severe pain & got May appt. with in network provider. This is March. Delays by insurance to approve MRI took 3 weeks of 12 weeks FMLA. Ivory took my call & asked me how soon we could be there. We had an appt. for noon that day. We took MRI disk which showed ruptured disk which needed surgery. My husband can no longer sit due to pain. We went to our Urgent Care center for pre-opt clearance & he is scheduled for surgery next week. They CARE! He's out of network but worth it.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Theofilos to anyone with any type of back pain. My pain was so bad that I could not go to work. Dr. Theofilos did whatever it took to get me better. I am a new person today because of his compassion and skill.

I called for an urgent visit. I have 3 herniated disks in my neck. They offered me an appointment the next day. I was thrilled as I am in horrific pain and told them this. My appt at 2PM was scheduled. I arrived at 1:40 with all my paperwork complete and was asked to take a seat at 1:50. At 2:05 I was called into an exam room. Mind you I could hardly sit... After a 10 minute evaluation by his PA to "speed things up" I was left to sit (2:15) at 3PM I opened the door and asked, "am i forgotten" and was told "no, you're next." So, I waited until I heard the door next to me open and the Dr. say "hello..." so I was not next... I asked again, at about 3:15, "am I next" to which I got no real response. So, I planned to wait until the Dr. left the exam room next door to me. When he did, I waited for 10 more minutes. At this time it was 3:50. I went to the front desk and voiced my dissatisfaction. I told them I was leaving. At that time the Dr. came around the corner and said "I can hear you yelling over here, I am busy..." (around the corner 10ft away, no kidding huh?) I responded, you invited me here as per your staff and I was on time, it is unethical for you to leave a patient waiting for 2 hours in pain. How dare you! And he said, "if you don't leave, I am calling the police"... LOL!!! I was leaving and he accosted me after keeping me in waiting for 2 hours!!! Do not go to this man for help, I can only imagine how HORRIBLE of a surgeon he is, as his Doctoring skills are ABSENT.
