Dr. Tharpe is a great allergist and a great person. Keen intellect and excellent communicator.

Dr. Tharpe is my favorite doctor ever. I saw him when my regular allergy doctor was off one day, and I was at my wits end with chronic urticaria (daily, full body itchy burning hives). I was in tears that day after a 7 month struggle and Dr. Tharpe changed my life that day. He helped me get thru that weekend and said we would try and find something that worked. From there on I switched to him and he helped me thru my very challenging condition. We discussed treatments together, and he was willing and open to discussion to other treatments that people with similar conditions had posted online once he researched them to make sure it was safe. He went above and beyond, discussed my case with the pharmaceutical rep and we tried various approaches until we found one that worked for me. I was an emotional wreck when I came to him thinking I would never have my life back to normal but it did, thanks to his diligence and research and caring attitude. I’ve never met a doctor so devoted to my son’s extreme health condition in my entire life like Dr. Tharpe!!! He has always gone over and beyond to try to find the best medications to help my son through some very painful/stressful health episodes. I always know if I ever need any help inquiring about new medications on the market he has already done the research on them which is amazing! We feel like he’s a member of our family and we love him so much! The Lord knew what he was doing when we walked into the office looking for a last resort for someone to help. Dr. Tharpe is an outstanding physician. He takes the time to talk to you and he actually listens to you. He has helped me as well as members of my family with our allergy issues. He is my go to allergy doctor, without question.
