Excellent physician who took the time to explain things and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

I was having contractions that lasted 60 to 90 seconds that were 2 to 4 minutes apart. Dr. DeAngelis sent me home because a resident doctor said I was only 1 cm dialated. My contractions were at a pain level eight, but because I felt them in my back, she said they were not progressive contractions which was absolutely incorrect. I continued to feel contractions only in my back the entire labor. I left the hospital, but I came back an hour later because I felt the urge to push while at home. When they checked me again, I was at 9 cm, and it was realistically too late to have an epidural. If she would have really listened to me and personally checked my dialation, I don't think I would have had to go through labor without any pain medication whatsover. Furthermore, I was not scheduled to receive any pain medication until 4 hours after my labor. If I would not have questioned this, I would have continued to be in pain much longer.

She has a very nice bedside manner but doesn't respond to calls. Does not take time to re view chart May be fine with delivery etc. Not reccomend for long term chronic issues

Dr. DeAngelis was wonderful! She took the time to listen to me and made me feel more comfortable than i have ever felt during an OB/GYN exam. Highly recommend!
