Dr Baker did a stellar surgery on me! I am now pain free. And live an active life!

I was sent to him a couple of months ago for severe il pain He was kind understanding. And act like he cares staff too. I wish we had someone like him in Brevard county Not Orlando ..

Dr Baker staff was exceptionally friendly , welcoming and very professional . Dr Baker was engaging, easy to understand and went as far as showing and explaining the mri results which helped very much in my decision in my course of action . As a emergency medical provider for 33+ years, I have interacted with many Doctors, I was so very pleased my referring Doctor said" Dr Baker is the Doctors Doctor". This dr provided excellent care to my husband. I can not say the same for the receptionist service. I have been leaving messages for someone to call me back on ONE question about the device he has in his brain. I get no calls back and I explained this to receptionist and asked to speak to a person and I continue to be put on long holds which again get transferred to a voice-mail. I would like to think Jane for all here help with my father's appointment. Even though my father had to see another doctor in another office she took care of it. She sent over all the paperwork over to the other Doctor's office. She could of told me 'just contact this doctor' but she didn't , she took care of it. It has been a very troubling time since my father's illness and its nice to have someone like Jane out there in the Doctor World. Dr. Christopher Baker is very Blessed to have a employee like Jane. Dr. Baker did a wonderful job on my back surgery. He listens and makes sure you understand your care.

I would like to thank Jane in Dr. Baker's office for all her Professional mannerisms and show of Compassion. She help me with making an appointment in a different doctor's office. She sent over all the paperwork for my father to the other doctor. She certainly did not have to do that but she did. Thank you so much Jane. Dr. Baker is Blessed to have her.

Absolutely the BEST OF BEST! 3 Prev Neuro 3 yr treatment w/o results. 12 was post op spinal reconstruction surgery, 90% pain reduction, back in gym, pool and walking 1/2 mi. Greatest quality, is genuine concern, put completely at ease, and 100% delivery on everything exactly as he stated. Gave my life back will always be indebted! Tremendous staff, Susan Lowe could not been more helpful.

Fabulous! Because of the pandemic, I had a telephone consultation. Dr. Baker couldn't have been a better listener and got the wheels rolling in an amazing amount of time, towards, answers for my issue. I have full confidence in this man and couldn't have been more impressed with his education, knowledge and attentiveness. I am lucky to have found him and will keep him as my Neurosurgeon as long as he is in practice!

I was referred to Dr. Baker through my PCP for lower back pain problem. I always check the reviews first. I was very surprised with the results. This review is based on my 3 visits so far. I found his front staff to be very pleasant, helpful and friendly. I thought his surgery coordinator was alittle stand-offish, though I know she's busy. Dr. Baker was friendly and pleasant, but my PCP ordered the wrong area of my spine scanned, so the first visit was a bust! He rescheduled me for a lumbar MRI @ the Meducal Arts Ctr & it was $500 cheaper than the wrong scan @ the hospital...location makes a huge difference! The 2nd visit he was friendly & pleasant. Took my CD loaded and showed me the problem...surgery would be needed soon! He told me what he was going to do, though in detail enough and told me to meet with his girls and they would arrange everything. They did, but due to a bad cough & too high A1C I had to cancel my surgery, now slated for the Spring 2020. I would recommend.

Dr Baker performed a miracle on my neck in 2007- a fusion. Pain free in neck and arm ever since.

Dr. Baker was chosen for me by the ER referring physician, following a seizure that uncovered a brain tumor metastasized from lung cancer. He was very short and curt with me (and my wife who drove me to the appointment) as he was anxious to go on vacation. Scheduling with his office is very difficult and frustrating. I tried to schedule and appointment for a separate spine issue, but was refused an appointment.

Office staff prevent you from seeing the Dr when you have a problem.

Dr. Baker was nothing short of amazing when h meet my mother to remove bilateral hematomas under emergency circumstances. I would highly recommend him.

My wife was diagnosed with a herniated disc about a year ago. The first doctor we saw made the condition seem very difficult to treat, suggesting fusion. We got a second opinion because that seemed desperate & scary. Dr Baker said he would sue any doctor that would suggestion fusion for her condition. He made it sound very easy to treat and was sure it'd work. 1 year later post op and shes 100% pain free. Hes a skilled doctor and it might come across as arrogance but hes just confident. See him.

Dr. Baker performed a spinal procedure on L3-4 on January 10, 2018 at Florida Hospital Orlando. I was experiencing severe right leg pain. I am recovering but the pain is gone and I am looking forward to a full recovery. My experience with Dr. Baker and his staff, before and after the procedure, has been professional and caring.

He is a pompous jerk who doesn't listen. His office is a mess--hard to get ahold of anyone. go to someone else!!!!!

THIS IS THE MOST RUDEST, ARROGANT PHYSICIAN I HAVE EVER MET. HAS NO BESIDE MANNER NEVER EXPLAINED WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY THAT I WAS NEEDING AND HIS OFFICE STAFF DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO BE PROFESSIONAL.

I went to Baker with a severely herniated cervical disk, seeking a second opinion on the advice of my GP. An orthopedic surgeon earlier recommended fusion, which I was worried about. Dr. Baker recommended artificial disk replacement instead. His rationale was sound. The surgery went very well. I was back to work in 1 week. Staff in hospital told me he's one of the best. He also has a good sense of humor. 1 year later - zero pain and am back to running. Amazing really.

Staff so rude surgery coordinator has no manners very unprofessional with a very disgusting attitude no x rays after surgery no appointment after my post op I'm very worried about my outcome.

Dr. Baker identified the location of my husband's pain on a CT scan that the radiologist who read the disc did not identify. The vertebroplasty went very well and my husband's pain has been substantially reduced. I would trust him with my life.. The help we got from Susan with the quick scheduling was superb.

I can say I survived the surgery. He did not fully explain the surgery or what issues I would have after the surgery I have had plenty. The morning after the surgery he came into my hospital room and yelled at me I was going home no matter what no exam or anything. Less than 24 hours later after a visit to the ER The ambulance took me back to the same hospital, in which I spent 4 days. My 6 weeks follow up I told him about my pain no solution from him. I would never recommend him or his office.

I think Dr. Baker did a wonderful job on my anterior disk replacement 6 weeks ago. I had 3 replaced due to extreme arm pain from a major nerve being pinched. The incision is in the front of my neck and you can barely see it so I am very happy about that. I no longer have arm pain so I feel the surgery was a success. I only have 2 complaints. I kept asking Dr. Baker and his staff what to expect post-op and I was only given vague answers. His scheduler rarely returns calls. Very aggravating

I wish i could have let the dr know how melissa in front is handling the patients!! I have a valid referral from my insurance,valid insurance, valid id and my dr sent mri over 3x melissa will NOT make appt for me wants me to sit and wait. I have been here 75 minutes still not able to get appt!!!very strange would live to give dr. Baker a try

I have never met a more wishy-washy surgeon. First he tells me that epidural would not help my neck & suggest that he fuse 4 thru 7. The day before surgery he cancels & sends me for epidural. After 3 years later today he tells me it's not that bad. EXCUSE ME & would not recommend surgery without 6 wks of physical therapy. REALLY!

Dr. Baker's bedside manner is terrible and is always in a hurry to get out of the exam/consult room. A big hurry. My microdiskectomy actually made my condition worsen and I didn't feel like this doctor or his staff really cared. I was offered muscle relaxers and told that should be it. No support. Last, I relocated and asked for my surgery notes and was told I'd have to pay for them up front. I would never do the surgery if I knew then what I know now. I will not see this physician again

Greedy doctor! Allows the PA to do all the work and he just signs off. At my appointment never saw the doctor.

My recent surgery with Dr. Baker on 8/24/16 did not go as expected but in fact was more complicated than anticipated. But, Dr. Baker took on the challenge and though I am still in recovery, because of his expertise, I have made continuous progress and expect a return to my active lifestyle soon. His staff and office worked like a "well oiled machine". They were quick, precise and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Christopher Baker.

I have attempted to schedule follow up care.I have called and left numerous voicemails with his scheduler Susan. Here we are 5/17/2016 and have yet to receive a call back. The person I did receive a call back from stated that she was the office manager and very tersely told me that my primary would need to send in a referral for me to receive follow up care. My Primary Care Physician has sent in 5 referrals no response from Dr. Bakers office. Surgery was 9/2016.

He made the process very easy to understand and did a great job even though He found a lot more damage than was expected. He was very thorough with follow ups as well. I have more work to be done on my spine and I wouldn't want anyone else to handle it.

Dr Baker was highly recommend by a surgical nurse that worked with him years ago.He's clearly lost the love of his skill & compassion for the patients.He charmed me,made me feel comfortable trusting my brain in his hands for the procedure,once completed,wanted nothing to do with me for follow up after care.His assistant,Susan Lowe,WORTHLESS,gives you her card,tells you to call her/email her,you get her voicemail,she never returns the call or email.Now I have to find a Dr for after treatment :(

I would never recommend Dr. Baker to anyone. He was 75 minutes late to perform gamma knife surgery on my wife for her trigeminal nerve pain, and had to rush through prep. For the past 7 weeks she?s having daily, persistent, debilitating headaches, and he and his staff have been nothing but defensive and dismissive. It seems he screwed the halo too tightly, causing muscle and/or nerve damage. If you use him, you had better pray that everything goes perfectly because otherwise you?re on your own.

Dr. Baker took the time to talk with not just me, but my entire family to explain my diagnosis, the operation and to answer any questions. I wouldn't dream of entrusting my care to anyone else.

Doesn't give his patients the time of day, after surgery, my pain came back full force, I contacted the office several times and never received a call back, had to see another doctor and now require a second surgery.
