Doctor Lewis is an excellent doctor who also demonstrates terrific people skills. He cares about his patients and dedicates both professional and personal time to them.

I had surgery with this MD in Jan 2014. Following second procedure for a complication during his surgery, I can say I have seen this man, maybe a total of 10 times. Two major surgeries....his PA made rounds every day. My sons were never talked to by him pre or post for either surgery. I found him to be cold and distant. That is ok if you are very good. Not nice but acceptable but when you are a cold jerk AND your skills are terrible...well, inexcusable. He has moved every couple of years from hospital to hospital...that says a lot. He was at Grand Strand Regional in Myrtle when I encountered him. My health has been challenged by his lack of skill and/or concern. I am told, by reputable sources, that he did not leave Grand Strand electively. Be cautious with this surgeon and research him carefully before you let him near anyone you love.
