The visit was fine. Not waiting too long (15 minutes). Dr. Mehalo is very professional.

The visit along w x-rays was quick, and the Dr knew exactly what the issue was. He explained it well, and was pleasant and efficient.

Very impressed with Dr Mehallow. Injected my lousy hip, veritably painless explained and explained all during procedure. Very highly recommend.

Had an answer for every question that I asked. The great doctor. We have no problem recommending him.

Dr Mehallo came highly recommended when we my son broke his arm while snowboarding. He is really good at connecting with his patients and explaining the injury and what to expect.

Very efficient staff and kind doctor!

Dr Mahalo has taken care of my arthritic knee for 8 years. He keeps my active and I feel confident that my care is the best.

I was late to my appointment, I was greeted by the staff, they brought me right back and took care of me! From the receptionist to the Doctor, everyone was so nice! I had a very rough day and walking into an office (late) after a horrible day they were all a breath of fresh air! Great experience!!!

I had great experience with Rothman Orthopaedic Institute outpatient doctor’s office. Dr. Kepler is incredible specialist-knowledgeable and informative. He explained everything to me in a very clear manner. The staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. Highly recommended.

Dr. Mehalo has been treating my knee for a few years. I go twice a year for injections and still don’t need a knee replacement. I am in my mid 60’s with both osteo and severe rheumatoid arthritis. He is very kind.

Dr Mehallo is easy to talk to, explains well, and my first viscous shot went quick and easy.

Great surgeon and he has an amazing team that make everything so easy and fantastic response time to helping me each visit.

Dr. Kepler was very professional and explained my options and spent time answering our questions. I will recommend him to my family.

Maybe I met with Dr. Mehallo on an off day because my experience was not stellar. He was friendly but not very thorough and his diagnosis turned out to be wrong when I got a second opinion and a more thorough examination.

Dr. Mehallo is without a doubt the most informed, and therefore informative Dr. I have ever had the opportunity to see. He never ceases to put me at ease with his explanation of the treatment. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention his staff who is every bit as professional.

Professional and caring

Dr. Megalopolis is a great listener! He asked questions as I explained my knee problems. In great detail, he describe to me the treatment plan. And what to expect five days to two months from now. It was very obvious that he really cared about my problem and was determined to alleviate my pain. I’m already noticing a decrease in pain in my name.

Dr.Mehallo is a kind and caring physician with regard to patient care. He has taken care of me for many years. He discusses a plan of care with his patients and involves them in that plan. His experience and knowledge in the specialty of Sports Medicine is very comforting to his patients.

Dr. Mehallo was able to see my son quickly, took the time to explain things clearly and thoughtfully. He listened to me as a parent and answered questions. I really appreciated that my sons x-rays were done in the same area as his appointment; no long walks on his crutches or even going to a different floor or building. Dr Kepler really seems to care. Because of that he is accommodating and concerned. Such attributes are unfortunately rare nowadays.

He is very kind, thorough and he takes his time with you. His nurse is also fabulous!

Excellent service provided by Dr Mehallo, as well as his staff. I’ve been a patient of Dr Mehallo for a couple of years for my Sciatica. Both his diagnosis and prognosis and treatment recommendations has been spot on.

Dr. Mehallo is the kind of doctor you wish all doctors were. Kind, talented, knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful. Procedures, like having one's knees drained, are never fun. But Dr. Mehallo gets the job done quickly and expertly. Maybe even faster than you can say ouchie!

I started with Dr. Mehallo when Rothman was new in Delaware County. He is thorough and listens to your problem and I have had positive results but know a knee replacement is coming to a verdict. I truly trust him.

Very personable. Explained all options surrounding my condition in layman’s terms. I felt comfortable and empowered after my visit.

On my visit with Dr. Kepler he made me comfortable explaining my situation and being concerned of my fear of getting the surgery.

Dr. Kepler performed a lumbar fusion surgery on my wife and went perfect. From the pre visits, surgery at Jeff, care at Jeff, post visits and staff of Dr.Kepler. Dr Kepler saved my life. I would be in a wheelchair or not here at all if it weren't for this wonderful doctor. He did extensive surgery on my back. Dr Kepler is brilliant and caring. I am forever grateful for his help. He is one in a million! ????

Dr. Kepler performed thoracic spine fusion surgery on me in August 2020. It's been several months since the surgery and I am well on my way to full recovery. Prior to the surgery he explained in great detail what the surgery would involve and what to expect during the recovery period. I really appreciated that he took the time with me and asked me what questions that I have. After years of being misdiagnosed I now have my life back thanks to Dr. Kepler's surgical skills. I have now met with Dr Kepler at least four times. One was a pre-op conversation where Dr Kepler explained my condition using language I could understand. I had every confidence that my surgery would be successful and it was. During each of my post-op meetings Dr Kepler has always spent more than enough time with me to answer all my questions and even diverge into discussions of joint problems that are not his specialty. He explains options very clearly and is committed to improving quality of life without surgery for as long as possible.

I was very satisfied with my visit with Dr. Mehallo regarding the swelling and fluid in my knee. He has a great rapport with patients and gives you the information and options to make the best decision for you.

From the clerk to the X-ray tech to the nurse to the doctor , this visit was not what I’m use too. All were not personable or engaging. They were all uncaring. I was not shown my X-rays or discussed what was seen other than arthritis. I had to ask for an injection even though I said my pain was an 8. Maybe they were having a bad day at 8:20 am. I felt like I was being herded in/rushed out and I’m not use too this treatment at Rothman. I’d seen Dr Mehallo several years ago but this time he was different.

Dr. Mehallo is very patient and attentive. I feel like my opinion about my symptoms are important and integral to my treatment plan.

Terrible! Mehallo spent a whole five minutes with me, told me to get a MRI & then left the room while I was trying to ask a question. A complete waste of time.

The doctor was good and I liked him, however, every time I go to Rothman, with any doctor I see, it always at East one hour wait. That is with an appointment and with the receptionist asking me to get there 10 minutes early!

Dr mehallo is friendly, thorough, and well versed on my medical issues. His treatment recommendations are spot on.
