Dr. Christopher S Reese

I put one star because I couldn't put ZERO. This experience was abysmal. I made the appointment with Dr. Reece for several middle-aged men's health concerns, but apparently the appointment taker took very few notes. I was whisked in and out and told to go get a blood test for PSA (whatever that is) and a test for testosterone level. He had no intention of telling me the results. I called to find out and had to leave a message with the clerk who again did not give the doctor hardly any of the information I detailed. He called the next day - while I was teaching class of course. I was able to step away and he just cited a number from the test, a test I just had done five months ago (making this an unnecessary expense). He was ready to hang up without explaining what it even meant and when I asked about it, and the result of the other test he became extremely rude, insulting, and belligerent. He acted like he was doing some kind of extraordinary favor by even returning my call but he bullied me for not asking him a question while he shouted me down so I couldn't ask the question! It was clear that his clerk didn't give him the specific questions I asked, and he would he said the call wasn't an office visit, so he hung up on me. I called the office back and waited on hold for 15 minutes before being thrown into voicemail where I asked him to call me back so he could more reasonably respond to my concerns. As of this writing, he has not called back. Dr. Reece rushed the office visit without addressing all of my concerns, he sent me for what appears to be an unnecessary blood test. He did not contact me with the results. He did not explain the results once I contacted him, he ignored providing information or detail of the second test. He was rude and shockingly unprofessional throughout the phone call, and instead of recognizing and resolving the miscommunication of his own staff, he took the coward's way out and hung up on his patient. Now I am out of my $40 co-pay and am in the same place I started with my health concerns. This review is my only recourse. I apparently can't save myself, but hopefully I can prevent someone else from having the same miserable experience I did.

No complaints thus far. He is my urologist, along with my father's. He ran tests on me due to abdominal cramping, but found nothing wrong in the urology department. He treated my father's prostate cancer, and he is now cancer free! He allowed my entire family into the room (my 5 siblings and my mother) without any issues. He did not leave the room until all questions were answered and understood. I believe he spends the proper amount of time on patients based off what he sees within the patient's issues. His staff isn't always friendly. I had a bad experience with a member of his staff, but I do not blame that on Dr. Reese.

Went to see Dr Reese after having to switch doctors. He was pleasant enough. After a few months I needed an X-ray for a kidney stone. A week later and multiple calls to the office, I have yet to hear any results. Either the office is incompetent or the doctor just doesn’t care, either way, I would rather pass a kidney stone than to go back and see him. Hey, at least he got my insurance payment

Don't go to him he will waste your time. He doesn't listen to you or answer any of your questions he walk out. In middle of my appointment to see someone else never came back to finish my appointment. How rude

Dr Christopher S Reese came in told us abut all the options we have abut my wife Catheter issue , me as husband i ask 1 question abut Catheter , he replied i don't have time for this he have move on to next Patient , Dr Christopher S Reese was relay rude , him pic is attached

Dr. Reese was th on-call urologist when I was admitted tp Fairview Hospital. He told me he would take certain steps but did not. He is extremely arrogant. I would not recommend him under any circumstances.

Had a vasectomy and have been in pain since for the last 5 yrs. I have tried to go back but he keeps saying I am fine or it's in my head. My vas took 30 mins longer than it should've cause the pain meds weren't working. So I had a vasectomy WITHOUT pain meds! I told him and he kept going. I haven't been able to do anything physical due to pain. No sex in the last 5 yrs due to pain. I've been to numerous specialists with no options to stop my pain. This guy is a butcher!!!

Saw Dr. Reese to determine why there was blood in my urine & felt more urgency to pee than normal. He never reviewed CT scan in my patient folder. Performed a Cystoscopy & pronounced me healthy; said blood was normal for someone my age (67). Less than 4 wks later I had severe abdominal pain and had to have an emergency operation at UH to remove a 7mm impacted kidney stone that could have caused permanent kidney damage. Reese is negligent; I would not recommend this arrogant hack to anyone.

Did poor surgery on me. Lied more then 3 times on my condition. I would not recommend to anyone.
