I just had the Watchman implant surgery performed by Dr. Colleen Johnson and I am very happy with her and the team of doctors and nurses. All my questions were answered at the evaluating office visit and was comfortable with Dr. Johnson doing the procedure. She also checked on me before and after surgery.
I am very impressed with Dr Johnson. She took the time to listen and answer my questions completely and succinctly. She showed that she is empathetic (a quality missing in some physicians). She definitely gets a 5 star rating.
Dr. Johnson is a great, caring doctor. After seeing many different cardiologist for help with my A-fib. All of them told me there was nothing they could do. I was told that I had been out of rhythm for to many years. Dr. Johnson said that there were different options to try. Today I have a life again, thanks to her efforts to find a solution. What a difference she has made in my life. I will always love and be indebted to her and her knowledge.
I have been seeing Dr Johnson for as long as she has been in NOLA. She is very knowledgeable and always treats me with respects and dignity. She always makes time to answer all my questions and will take all the time it takes to come up with a solution to my issues

If you have anything else to do that day, please reschedule. I have spent many hours waiting on her, she is not the Messiah, and I will not be waiting for her anymore. She is very intelligent about different things, I would recommend a second opinion on any diagnosis though.

Shame that I love most the physicians at Tulane with the exception of Dr Johnson, who is closed minded arrogant and disregards the clinical patient or just not very intelligent.

Dr Johnson is very rude and also racist. I have heard her make statements concerning African American patients. Stating one female patient should go back to Africa and have her baby in a bush. I would not regiment her to anyone
