They are extremely thorough and detailed in everything they do, from initial consultation through recovery and follow ups. Dr. Fortunado is extremely skilled and gentle, and recovery was very smooth. 100% recommend - best OMS in the Bay Area.

Dr. Cline-Fortunato and her staff are wonderful. They do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. Dr. Cline-Fortunato explains every test result, diagnosis and procedure in detail and answers all questions thoroughly. She is genuinely concerned for her client’s health and well-being. I am so glad to have found her!

Dr. Cline-Fortunato and all the staff members are great. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was a bit out of the way for me but definitely worth the long trip to do my procedure at this office. I was really scared but I was able to remove all of my wisdom teeth with ease and zero pain. Thank you for the positive experience!

Dr. Cline is very professional. My experience of having a tooth pulled was much less stressful than I expected. Her assistants were personable, attentive, and clear in what the process would be. I even was given a blanket and hand and neck warmers. I was also impressed with their sanitary standards given the COVID 19 times. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Cline and everyone in her office are AMAZING! Theyre so thorough, patient, caring, and friendly. They respond promptly with questions. She specializes in anesthesia which made me feel better about wisdom tooth extraction. Overall I felt very cared for and gently approached for a procedure I was nervous about. Nice office. Best experience at a dentist.. COVID-19 made me very fearful and worried about going to have my tooth extracted. Dr. Cline’s office was very clean. The staff very professional,and helpful courteous friendly and comforting. I felt so reassured and calm during my experience in the office. Dr. Cline is an incredible surgeon and person. I felt no pain during the whole process and did not even know when the tooth came out. I highly recommend Dr. Cline.

Dr. Cline-Fortunato and her entire staff are simply wonderful. I was so fearful of going to the dentist and, when I got an infection in one of my impacted wisdom teeth, I felt like death was my best option. Then.... I went to the office of Dr. Cline. From the front door, the friendly receptionist welcomed me. I hardly waited at all to be taken into an examination room. (Huge bonus- they email you all of the forms to fill out from the comfort of home, well ahead of your appointment!) Everyone was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I will say, with confidence, I am not afraid of visiting the dentist anymore. I'm so glad I got referred here. It is worth it 100%! Thank you all working in this practice. You are all amazing!!!

My experience at Scott Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was great the staff was welcoming and pleasant. I was very nervous and scared, the treatment of the staff made me relax and feel more comfortable. Dr Cline is an amazing surgeon was very precise and careful with me I was so surprised and happy when I heard her say everything is out . Ooh and so glad I had the laughing gas Thank you!

Everyone in the office was friendly & welcoming. The whole procedure was explained very thoroughly and options explained. The day of the surgery my comfort was primary. Everyone was efficient & procedure was much less scary than I imagined. I definitely would recommend this office to my friends.

I received excellent care from Dr. Clien. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation. Everyone working there was nice but professional and informative. The office was extremely clean with calming decor. The doctor was upfront about informing me of any risks and prepared me with all of the information I needed for surgery. She made it easy, all I had to do was show up for my surgery on time. The surgery went fast about 1 hour for all 4 wisdom teeth. The doctor called later the same day and again the following day to ensure the surgery was successful and that I was OK. After experiencing some pain a week later, I saw Dr. Clien again. She was able to quickly identify and remedy the problem. She will meet with me again to follow-up and make sure I am on the path to healing properly. Amazing care. I cannot thank this office enough for their hard work.

The staff are welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere is calm, tranquil and inviting. The office is managed well and the process flows organically. Dr. Cline is kind and personable. She explained everything to me very thoroughly and with great detail. She was reassuring and very knowledgeable and I am mediately felt very safe in her care. Dr. Cline has an amazing bedside manner as well as her back staff. I felt very safe,,cared for, and comfortable and informed I we went along. The only thing that took me by surprise was just how fast the actual removal was, and my teeth were impacted!

I needed a tooth extraction. They were very professional and explained all my options in language that Mesa sense. The actual procedure was pain free. They explained what they were doing and what I could expect to experience just before it happened. Their pre- and post-opp explanations were excellent. Throughout the experience I knew what to expect in the moment as well as what next steps would be. Excellent!!

Dr. Cline-Fortunato is an ace surgeon, and she and her whole staff were all just such a pleasure to work with. She did three extractions for me, including two bone grafts, about three weeks ago, and everything went so well that I continue to be amazed. I came to Dr. Cline-Fortunato with an unusually challenging set of dental problems (including two deeply infected molars with 30-year-old apical root canals and a complex set of jaw symptoms) after two other oral surgeons in Santa Cruz had turned me away. So in addition to my anxiety about the infected teeth and worries about how my jaw would be affected by the procedure, I was anxious that she, too, might say I'd have to go to Stanford to have the work done there in hospital, which I did not want to have to do. To my great relief, Dr. Cline-Fortunato was unfazed by the challenge. Also, of the dozens of dentists, doctors, and other healthcare practitioners I've seen over the years, she was the only one who understood my history of jaw symptoms. She exuded calm confidence without the slightest hint of arrogance (and how rare is that among highly skilled surgical specialists), addressed all my concerns, and worked with me to arrive at a treatment plan that seemed best to both of us. The surgery went remarkably well, and, miraculously, my jaw came through it just fine. Contrary to what the other oral surgeons had anticipated, Dr. Cline-Fortunato managed to get the two deeply infected molars out, along with their mercury tips and all the rotted bone, without having to penetrate the sinus cavities, which alone is testament to her skills. In spite of that extensive work plus the third extraction, there was amazingly little post-op bleeding, and I only needed to take 3 of the prescribed pain pills before shifting to Tylenol intermittently for the next couple of days. (I should add that I took a high dose of arnica before and shortly after the surgery, which reduces bleeding, swelling, and pain, and I also listened to CD of guided imagery for surgical patients starting two days before the surgery -- but neither of those aids would have spared me if the surgery itself had not been top notch.) I've procrastinated writing this review because there's so much positive to say about Dr. Cline-Fortunato and her kind, compassionate, and very well trained staff that I knew it would be hard to condense it to a few short paragraphs. There's still more I'd like to say, but if you've read this far, I think you get the picture. I feel tremendously fortunate to have found this outstanding oral surgeon, and I recommend her most highly.

At my appointment today I felt like they really wanted me to be well informed and comfortable. At the same time they were busy getting all of their procedures done. I am totally trusting in their skills and caring ways for tomorrow when I go back for the tooth extraction. I can sleep well tonight!

Dr, Cline-Fortunado was very gentle and had a comforting approach to pulling two of my molars that were badly broken. I felt very confident in her skill and ability during the procedures. I was also very happy with her awesome staff. I had no complications afterward and it was such a relief to get them out! My first visit I was very nervous but on my second visit I had way less anxiety because of the positive experience I had with her. I highly recommend her if you have any fear of getting your mouth worked on.

Every interaction with Dr. Cline-Fortunato's office has been excellent, from getting my initial appointment re-scheduled to an earlier date, to talking with Alicia, her friendly, very helpful assistant, through consulting at length with the doctor about a daunting group of extractions. Like her staff, Dr Cline-Fortunato is at once very professional and also very understanding and patient. She spent a LOT of time working with me to answer my long list of questions and tailoring the treatment plan to one that feels most comfortable and appropriate to me. I've not yet had the extractions, but I'm confident she's the best dental surgeon for me.

Dr. Cline recently saw me for an emergency surgery on the removal of an infected 20 year-old implant. She and her staff were beyond kind and thorough in the discussion of my procedure and what to expect. My follow-up appointments were just as friendly and thorough. This office has the most professional, friendly, happy, and accommodating staff I have ever encountered. I went to Dr. Cline out of convenience because I live in Felton but got the surprise of my life when my oral surgery experience was the best of my life. The office is beautiful, the staff was amazing and Dr. Cline provided excellent care, but there was more. Everyone appreciates professional courtesy but they took it further when they exhibited genuine caring before, during. And after the procedure, for my feelings and comfort. This is so rare these days and I really needed this positive experience. I will always be grateful.

Dr. Kline is very professional and friendly. She’s great with people under the age of 18. Her patient teaching is spot on for any age group, especially teens. The staff is kind, considerate and well medically trained. As an ER nurse, I think about their competency and preparedness. They are up there! They are ACLS/PALS certified and have their own crash cart/AED ready to go. I love this practice and staff!

Scotts Valley Oral and Maxillfacial Surgery, is the best. I can say this because I have been going to this office for years . They truly care about their patients comfort. It only improves each time I go there. I even had carefully placed pillows and blanket. After surgery, they make sure your exit is safe. I thank the entire staff for such a pleasant experience. Surgery was painless.
