After going to the Cleveland Clonic for close to a year with no results I decided I needed to find a different doctor. I made an appointment with Dr Apostolis who immediately diagnosed the issue and in less than a month performed surgery. I am now finally feeling like I have my life back. I would 100% recommend him.

Courteous staff,prompt call backs,great phone etiquette.dr had great bedside manner.nurse practitioner was great with me and explained how the surgery would go and they scheduled all my appointments so I didn’t have to worry about that

The experience of surgery with Dr. Apostolic was excellent in every respect from the first appointment to ongoing treatment. I recommend him highly to all of my friends. I also recommend the hospital where he did the surgery, Western Reserve Hospital for their excellent care.

DR A made me feel comfortable, explaining my issues fully. Not like another urologist I went to which was a COMPLETE nightmare. Made me feel like my condition shared by many other women. Respectful, friendly,compassionate. The office staff very friendly and helpful. My only complaint nurses I had day after surgery. Nite nurse was great, morning nightmare. #1 pain med 2.5 hours late, I don't care what she wrote on chart, #2 seemed like could work blood pressure cuff. Put on WAY to lose. Never got towels to wash up in morning. Was told I had to wait for water she was busy. No help in bathroom 1st time. I understand nurse shortage,but night time nurse seemed just fine and next day I had 2,one very rude,one seemed not sure what she was doing.BUT DR. A, THE BEST LADIES!!

Dr. Apostolis' area of practice and expertise is urogynegology, and there could not be a more kind and compassionate doctor in that field of medicine. His demeanor, professionalism and respect for his patients cannot be overstated. The concerns I had and embarrassment I felt going in for that first appointment were quickly resolved. He did not rush through any appointment and patiently answered all my questions. The atmosphere in the whole office is very positive and pleasant. Dr. Apostolis sets the tone. His staff is exceptional! Jennifer Winning is his CNP. She always returns calls and is always patient no matter how many times I ask the same question, or want additional information! Sarah is his efficient Surgery Coordinator. Pat and Diana are equally kind, knowledgeable and vital to the team. All these words to say that Dr. Apostolis is a doctor who can be completely trusted. I highly recommend him! The very best word I can say is that patients are VALUED!!

Very comfortable and easy

I spent 6 years trying to get a diagnosis and treatment for severe pelvic pain and got many opinions around northeast Ohio. Nothing conclusive was found and no helpful treatment was offered until I came here. He was able to find and explain the problem on my very first visit. Clear explanations, effective treatment, and kind care. As someone who struggled for so long with other healthcare providers for such a sensitive issue, I highly recommend Dr. Apostolis.

This doctor has rescheduled my appointment twice because he did not want to stick around for his afternoon appointments, which was confirmed by office staff. When I finally did agree to come in earlier, I found that he had 5 ladies rescheduled for the same time so he wouldn’t have to work later. Completely unprofessional and felt like we were treated like a herd of cattle for a very sensitive issue.

I feel that I never got the whole story about my surgery. He had to backpedal when it didn’t work out the way he said. Also, I’ve never waited less than 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen.

This doctor cut a blood vessel in my bladder during an office procedure and admitted it. And somehow he neglected to mention it in my medical records. I have had a serious bladder issue since the day it happened in August 2021. He also neglected to call me for a scheduled 11/1/21 appointment and has not responded to calls requesting a plan of action. A new urologist is working to fix me but unsure if will be successful. I would not let him spay my cat.

Dr. Apostolis is such an amazing doctor!! I would give 500 stars if I could. He makes the patient feel comfortable and takes the time with them. He is truly one of a kind. I've had nothing but great experiences with the office and him.

I wish I could give zero stars. Nothing against the doctor. I didn't even get to see them. I have terrible social anxiety, and I was nervous to go back alone - I have been dealing with a UTI for 2.5 months due to various issues with diagnosis with my primary. I was referred to a Urologist, and I thought I"d support another fellow Greek. However, when I got in there I asked the intake physician if I could have my husband come back because I have anxiety and sometimes I get nervous and forget important things to tell the doctor. She said no problem. She asked me for a urine sample, and I just asked for some clarification as to why we needed it - I'm self pay so I just like to know no worries obviously I do it if the doctor orders it. I think this upset another nurse - a nurse not involved in the conversation - and she snapped at me that my husband wasn't allowed to be back there with me (even though he was okayed). I said, but I get nervous and he remembers more than me..and she just clicked her teeth and walked away saying "fine whatever"...with the most condesending tone I've ever heard in my life. Me, having total social anxiety sorta froze and didn't know how to deal with reciving that sort of reaction to what would have simply been from me an "okay I understand" but I wasn't even able to give that response...so I left and went out to the car. I've never been treated like this before by a nurse - I believe her name was Denise or something (I remember because it's my mothers name as well). Anyway, don't go to this place. This practice took very good care of me from beginning to end. From the Nurse Practitioner Amy Skabar to Dr Apostolis to the registration desk. A great team of people. Knowing that I was being cared for by someone who didn't mind sharing they had the same surgery I had to have was comforting (NP) and Dr Apostolis was very informative about what choices I had and described in detail what the surgery process would be.. it helped me process things with a peace of mind. Very good doctor and makes you feel comfortable, explains any questions you have in full detail. Only complaint would be wait time in the waiting room, I waited 45 minutes until taken back.

I don't hesitate to recommend Dr Apostolis. My mother's surgery went as expected, with no issues. He answered all of our questions so that we knew what to expect. He handled a delicate subject with tact and professionalism. He and his entire staff gave my mother great care.

Dr. Apostolis dismissed my chronic pain as psychosomatic, despite formal diagnosis from other professionals. He failed to listen to my concerns and did a poor job of answering my questions or following through on treatment plans. What he said and what he did were often different. He does many of the kind of surgery I needed, but he didn't connect well to me and I did not feel I was receiving the quality care I deserved for my condition. I sought care elsewhere.

Can’t say enough great things about the doctor and entire staff. Would highly recommend this provider.

Oh no, this is showing up as my husband! Excellent care, excellent recovery for diagnosis and surgery related to pelvic prolapse. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Apostolis staff is patient and understanding. I needed a sling for stress incontinence the process was easy and recovery time was fast. Very little discomfort. He also removed my IUD. After trying in the office unsuccessfully, he suggested doing this in the OR for a more comfortable experience. He was gentle and really cared about my comfort level during the exam. I highly recommend him and his office for anyone with similar issues.

I cant say enough about the staff and the Dr, so professional and educational! I have been dealing with issues for ten years and within a week the Dr had a plan put into action.Ive struggled with overactive bladder.

I was referred to Dr. Apostolis by my regular gynecologist for a issue that needed further investigation. I was able to get a appointment quicker than expected. Reception staff was friendly, waiting area was clean. I did wait longer than anticipated but that could be because the dr. found the time to squeeze me in so quickly. When I was taken to the exam room my nerves were on edge, the nurse was able to pick up on that and reassured me every thing would be okay, Having been to multiple recent medical appointments where doctors/nurses didn't listen to me, how I felt or dismissed my concerns, I was VERY apprehensive. I wasnt even certain WHY I was sent to this office! Dr. Apostolis explained with care and professionalism the reason, what he suspected the issue was and even set up a referral for a new general Dr that could order the testing required to diagnose me. FINALLY a doctor who took the time to listen! Dr. A and staff went above and beyond in my opinion.

Dr. Apostolis and his staff are wonderful. Very appreciative of the healthcare I received from his office. Surgery was a success and very pleased with the results. I was a new patient and he spent at the most 7 mins with me and this included the exam, excessive information about his procedures and did not listen to one thing that I had to say. Most of his questions I answered no to, yet he insisted that I have pelvic flooring prolapse? Was not a pleasant visit at all. He is to wrapped up in his beliefs to listen to the patient.

Dr Apostolis is very personable, knowledgeable and caring. He has the perfect personality for this specialty. The office staff and nurses were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. I am very comfortable moving forward with recommendations given and future appointments needed for my condition.

Dr. Apostolis is an excellent surgeon and physician. He is very kind and has obvious concern for his patients. His knowledge related to women's pelvic health issues is outstanding. I have been very pleased with the care I received from both him and his nurse practitioner, Jenn. His office staff friendly and very helpful.

Dr. Apostolis is just the right doctor for these female issues. He is professional, personable, considerate and kind; he did not brush off any of my questions and his answers were understandable. He and his staff were all very gracious and took the time to put me at ease. My recovery from the surgery was even quicker than they had indicated and I am so happy to have had the repair.

If you don't have the money for all his "services" good luck. My senior mother doesn't have the finances that he requires. He even compared her need for a certain medication to "even gum cost a dollar" and her need for infection relief to the need for a tree service same day. Lol sure, ok.

He compared my senior mothers need for treatment as a need for same day tree service, then was so rude as to respond to my senior mothers financial burden as, "everything costs, even a pack of gum is a dollar". Never called in her prescription but called twice to see if she filled it and then was concerned with asking me to remove the one star rating. All of a sudden was concerned about her. Then calls and talks to me, was rude and kept asking if I was threatening him. Lol seriously?! Not once did I say anything except for him to do his job "call in the medicine you said you did" Buyer beware, hes not a precious soul, he's nasty

Dr. Apostolis truly is a life-saver. It sounds cliche, but I struggled for over 15 years with bladder leakage, constant UTIs, mesh erosion all due to pelvic mesh slings. My previous doctor tried but could not remove the slings. Dr. Apostolis did with no problems. He literally has made my life so much better. I very highly recommend him as an outstanding surgeon and a man of integrity who has empathy for is patients. His ultimate goal is to do whatever he can to give you dignity again. I would like to reply to this review. I am very happy for your results. In 2016, due to mesh erosion Dr. A removed my urethra and replaced with cadaver urethra. In my opinion the surgery was unsuccessful. I have no dignity or quality of life as I leaked a small amount before surgery and have NO CONTROL since. it is very demoralizing to always be wet. Wet bedding, around $1,700.00 a year for poise #6 pads and diapers. No traveling or grandkids activities.

SIMPLY THE BEST. I got 2 opinions about a hysterectomy and bladder lift prior to meeting Dr. Apostolis. I was unsure about going through with a hysterectomy so my PCP recommended Dr. Apostolis. From the moment I met him, I was comfortable and I quickly realized how thorough he was in his plan recommendations. He was the only doctor that recommend 2 additional things that helped me post-hysterectomy (things that can happen after a hysterectomy and neither of the other doctors mentioned these and they are life changing!.). Dr. Apostolis is an outstanding doctor. I was very hesitant having an operation that was going to repair my prolapsed uterus and prolapsed bladder. Dr. Apostolis explained the procedure step by step to both my husband and I. He is very knowledgeable and very experienced; he made us feel very comfortable about the operation and especially made me feel very relaxed of what he was going to do during the operation and what I should expect and feel after the operation. I had the operation 4 weeks ago. Last week, 3 weeks since the operation, I was back to work. I am feeling great and all my issues with the prolapsed uterus and bladder are gone. I just had a visit with Dr. Apostolis today and he told me that everything looked healthy. The majority of the stitches were already absorbed. Dr. Apostolis is such an awesome, such a caring doctor, that after he talked to me, he went out to the waiting room, he found my husband and took the time to talk to him about my recovery status.

The best doctor I have ever had.

I went to Dr. Apostolis for a second opinion after receiving what I thought might be a misdiagnosis. After a short exam and discussion of my history, he was able to diagnose my problems and recommend a treatment plan. Went for further testing to confirm and he was spot on with the original diagnosis. His bedside manner is excellent. He explains everything and takes the time to answer all of your questions. Your comfort is truly his main concern. His staff treat you the same way, kind and compassionate. I am being scheduled for surgery and look forward to leading a better quality of life.

I was so depressed constantly having bladder leakage . Dr Apostolis was so gentle, empathetic, and understanding. He performed surgery and cured the problem. He and his staff are so wonderful. I reccomend him most highly . Thank you.

My mom had surgery with Dr. Apostolis just a few days ago. The entire experience with him and his office was so wonderful. Everyone was caring and assured me she was in the best hands. My mom was very nervous. She had a surgery with another doctor for the same reason several years ago and it was a terrible experience. She was a lot of pain for weeks after surgery. Also, the surgery never fixed the issue. She continued to have the same issues shortly after healing. That surgery was 12 years ago. She had lived with this thinking no one would be able to help her, until she met Dr. Apostolis. Her surgery was at Western Reserve Hospital and she had an over night stay. It was the most pleasant hospital stay she had experienced. The entire staff from the Valet Parking attendant and cafe employees to the nurses and doctors were incredibly sweet, caring and attentive. I went 1 year and a half with a diagnosis from 2 other doctors that turned out to be wrong. Dr Apostolis figured it out within 5 minutes of seeing me. Days later I had surgery. He is a very caring very thorough doctor. Tessa is equally amazing!

No doctor ( even out of state) could find cause of my stabbing pain . I saw Dr Apostolis who saw the cause on exam and reassured me that he could help me. After much decision, I had the surgery done November 20, 2018 and he removed a stitch that had imbedded deep in my tissue. Great doctor and staff!

I had surgery by Dr. Apostolis for a partial hysterectomy and prolapsed bladder. All I can say is that he has changed the quality of my life for the better, and I feel like I now function as a normal person! He has the most caring bedside manner, and I would highly recommend him to ANY woman with urogynecological problems. Only comment is there needs to be better communication between staffs at both locations, as I had appts. not conveyed from one staff to the other causing confusion.

At the recommendation of my primary care physician, I saw Dr. Apostolis today, and I am SO GLAD I did! He treats you like family, and he is very thorough. He is everything a physician should be and more! I feel very confident and trust what he thinks is best for me to do. His staff is extremely caring and competent as well. I will have no hesitation recommending him to anyone needing a urogynocologist. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Went to him for stress incontinence. Was told I had moderate prolapse and would need a partial hysterectomy. After surgery I had to go home with a catheter & for the following 6 mos I had blood in my urine as well as constant bladder infections and pain, he did a cystocopy & told me I was fine while shrugging off my problems. Even his nurses were rude! It’s been two years and I got a urogyn who immediately found out my problem. Apostolis had sutured my bladder & the stitch was still there.

I would give way more stars to every area if I could. I was referred to Dr. Apostolis by my gastroenterologist for a few issues but mainly a problem I had for decades. I was very hesitant to see yet another doctor to hear the same thing over again, SO I THOUGHT! He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever met & been treated by. He immediately found the problem that 8 other doctors I saw didn’t find. He is so compassionate & has an amazing bedside manner! I can’t say enough about him!

My experience with Dr. Apostolis and his team has been top notch from the beginning. His confidence and reassurance that he could fix the issues I had for years immediately helped to calm my nerves. Yes, there was uncomfortable/painful/embarrassing testing prior to surgery but his staff let me know I was in control and I could stop at any moment...which gave me confidence to continue. Also, my overnight stay at Akron General was great. The staff were very attentive to my needs...which were few. My laparoscopic surgery left me with very little discomfort afterword. Another cool thing..? Dr Apostolis called me directly, on a Sunday morning mind you, to see how I was doing! That was awesome! That made me feel like he really cares about me and my recovery. I highly recommend any woman that is having any urogynecology issues to see Dr. Apostolis. I recently had surgery by Dr. Apostolis and he was wonderful. I feel he is one of the most qualified Urogynecologist in his field. I was very nervous about surgery, Dr. Apostolis was very compassionate and understanding. His kindness and expertise helped me immensely. He and his staff are caring professionals and they all truly care.

Dr. Apostolis not only made arrangements to see me same day, but he diagnosed my issue immediately that several doctors were counter treating. His knowledge is as great as his fantastic bedside manner. Truly concerned and ready to get me to the next step in my healing process.

Recently had surgery with Dr.Apostolis . After a previous surg. with another physician I swore I would never go thru that again. From my first visit with Tessa, his nurse practitioner, the whole experience was wonderful. The office staff at both offices are extremely knowledgeable and professional. There really isn't anything more comforting to have all your concerns answered in a very caring, easy to understand manner. I feel I have finally found the right Dr. Thank you, Donna

Dr. Apostolis is truly amazing. The entire staff is so friendly, from the secretaries to the medical assistants. He is very knowledgeable and personable. I am grateful to be treated by this doctor. He has truly changed my quality of life.

Fabulous Doctor!!!, So very caring and knowledgeable. Many doctors can perform a hysterectomy and bladder repair but none with the ease of this one. I waited almost thirty years to have one for a prolapse cervix, other more serious surgeries were required. Once I met with him, he was the only surgeon I trusted, and my trust was well placed!
