Dr. Coty Wayne Jewell

Kind, attentive, knowledgeable, deeply engaged and caring, one of the top doctors I’ve ever consulted with in my 74 years. One thing sticks in my mind: as the anesthesiologist was putting me under, Dr Jewel reached over and held my hand. To top is all off, my surgery was a complete success. I HIGHLY recommend him.

I like Dr Jewel. He will explain everything. However, if you have an appointment, be prepared to wait for at least an hour.

Dr. Jewell did a procedure on me in 2015 after having assured me that he could fix my problem and put the ball in my court. Fix it he did, I have had no symptoms to this day. He won't candy coat issues but you can trust that if he says he can fix it he will.

Hands down one of the best physicians I have had. Dr. Jewell is not only talented in the operating room, he has a kind and comforting bedside manner. 3.5 years and counting as his patient.

Long story short, I checked into OHH for observation as they put me on Sotalol for my AFIB. My cardiologist arranged a consultation with Dr. Jewell before they started the medication. I liked him immediately, he explains things well and is extremely knowledgeable! He gave me the confidence to let him do an ablation, which another specialist had told me was not possible for my condition. I left the hospital the next day without any medication and my heart in perfect rythm! I would give him 10 stars instead of 5, but apparently that's not an option! Dr. Jewell provides top notch care with a passion for helping others and a high standard of personal ethics. He spends the time necessary to explain medically and answer questions. He went above and beyond for our family. He treated our daughter who had very complex electrical dysfunctions and needed very difficult medical interventions. Dr. Jewell’s combined surgical skill, personal ethics, and patient care are exemplary.

My 79 year old husband was in congestive heart failure, with atrial fibrillation and Dr. Jewell brought him back from the brink. When other mitigating medical conditions presented themselves Dr. Jewell brought in the appropriate consulting physicians and though it's been a rough and rocky road his overall health has not been better in years! Dr. Jewell is an awesome dr. He explains things throughly and doesn't seem too rushed. He's honest and doesn't sugar coat things either, which is important when dealing with cardiac issues.
