Dr. Person is wonderful. He is very caring and explain everything to the fullest. My daughter was the patient but we both enjoyed his conversations. He is funny and keep you laughing. I would refer everyone to him.

Excellent, professional, efficient, friendly, helpful: the front office staff. X-ray Tech, nurse, and Doctor were the same as the front office staff. I came from as one who was disappointed with Orthopedic care and left Precision confident. Ages of patients there ran for teenagers to the elderly. All were treated with the same courtesies regardless of age, visible, ailments, or assistance. I finally found the right Ortho for my needs. Most definitely recommend to all ages.

He did a major operation on my son's arm and did an excellent job!

I would avoid this doctor completely. He is a rip off artist not a doctor. When I scheduled with Dr. Person's office they informed me that there was no charge for the first consult and procedure price estimate. I went to Dr. Person to see about having a scar removed and a skintag removed form my eye. Dr. Person tried to talk me into having additional surgeries that I didn't want. The price he gave me was three times higher than other plastic surgeons I visited. The bad part was that I was billed for the free consult. After multiple calls to the billing office and our insurance company we agreed, under duress and unwillingly, to pay the 20 dollar co pay. We paid the 20 dollar copay and figured it was worth it to stop the harassments from his billing office. We have continued to receive bills for the same 20 dollars even though we have sent them copies of the cancelled check. We are at this time notifying the Maryland State prosecutors office and ask them to investigate his switch and bait practices. I would avoid this doctor completely. Dr Person is probably the most compassionate doctor I have come across in years and a breath of fresh air to the medical community. I feel so blessed that I happened upon his services after seriously injuring my arm and wrist. So grateful for the the treatment I received.

Dr. Person is an amazing Surgeon. I had my procedure yesterday, and he is very thorough and precise. My hand is sore, but no extreme pain. He definitely knows how to help ease anxiety is pre-op, and any post op questions I've had have been answered. 10/10 would see again.

So far so good. Went to see Dr. Person for a consult on a bone tumor removal. He also is going to resolve another issue that I was unaware of until my consult; while operating on my tumor in the same hand. He is very assuring, and although I'm extremely scared of my upcoming procedure, I trust that he will do a wonderful job. Will update my review after my procedure. I had a Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde experience with Craig Person, MD. I saw him in his LaPlata office on two previous occasions for cortisone injections to relieve my trigger thumb symptoms. There were no issues with either appointment and he was prompt, friendly and accommodating. Based on my positive experience, I scheduled trigger thumb surgery with Dr. Person for 8/25/20 at 1:30 pm in the Greenbelt Surgical Center. I arrived 45 minutes before my scheduled procedure per the pre-op instructions given to me by his staff. Shortly after I paid the operating room fee, the staff informed me that he was running behind schedule. I wasn't sure exactly how far behind he was running so I put on the hospital gown, the nurse took my vitals, and obtained my signature on several forms. I was again informed that Dr. Persons was in surgery and there was also another patient in front of me. I had trigger thumb surgery two years prior on my other thumb with a different surgeon so I know it is a five minute surgery with local anesthesia and my previous surgery had begun on time. I was concerned about the time issue because I had another appointment at 4:00 pm so after he exited his other surgery, the nurse informed him that I needed to leave at a certain time. Dr. Person became very hostile, flippant in his attitude, and arrogant. He informed me that my procedure would not begin until approximately three hours later than the scheduled time of 1:30 pm, which meant that he expected me to wait until 4:30 pm for the surgery to begin. As a professional person with my own business, I understand that delays can happen to the best of us. However, I suppose his intention in assuming a flippant tone with me may have been to communicate that my little trigger thumb procedure didn't matter in the grand scheme of his practice or perhaps he was unraveling and is not his best under pressure. His primary focus is actually plastic surgery (breast augmentations appear to be his specialty). I got dressed, went to the receptionist's desk (she was a lovely person and very professional) and received a refund for the operating room cost of which I paid 100% (my insurance didn't cover the OR costs in any capacity). I will reschedule my surgery with another surgeon. The sudden shift in his overt personality was disturbing.

Dr. Person is amazing, my surgery went without a hitch, he did a stellar job! He has a wonderful bedside manner and answered every question I had honestly and offering as much information as possible. Great doc.

Horrible doctor, messed up on my first surgery & made me come back for another surgery. I do not recommend anyone to go to this doctor.

I will not recommend even my worst enemy to this doctor. I paid thousands of dollars for a breast augmentation surgery with an implant and I came home with one and half breast. The left breast is a C cup and the right breast is an A cup. When I complained about the unsightly size of my breast I was yelled at by the doctor and we had a big blow up. Am still living with the nightmare of having breasts that are unequal, I can't undress in the presence of anyone. I will not recommend even my worst enemy to this doctor. Dr Person is Great doctor.

Dr. Person is a great doctor he is professional and gives lots of information before and after. Surgery went well, results are awesome. I was shocked to see some of the reviews but I would definitely recommend.

I had a BA in August 2015. I legit had a consultation on a Friday and had my surgery the following Tuesday. He was on time and made me laugh and extremely comfortable. I noticed after about a month that my breasts were uneven. After doing my own research I thought I had capsular contracture (which is a possible complication no matter how good the surgeon is). He told me to wait 3 mths before deciding a revision and gave me a body/breast strap to wear, in the hopes of pushing my breast down. I wore it faithfully and massaged as instructed, to no avail. 3 mths later (November 2015), I had the breast revision. My breasts were uneven therefore my implant sizes had to be uneven to make them more symmetrical. The cause was not capsular contracture but he said that the breast pocket needed to be basically dissected more to allow the implant to “drop” in place. He told me since it was human error that he wasn’t going to charge me. So, I didn’t have to pay his fee again but I did have to pay for the anesthesia and operating room fee again as he operates in a separate facility and not his own facility, so the fees are completely different. I was more upset that my surgery didn’t go right the first time. But, he is human! And human error is a chance we take when signing those papers for cosmetic surgery, it’s a chance I was willing to take and I’ll do it all over again. I LOVE my breasts! I had self esteem issues because my pregnancy took all my breast volume, at a young age, I had saggy breasts. I can’t express enough, I LOVE my breasts! They look so natural and fit my body! I’m shocked by the bad reviews because he was so good to me. I’m hoping he’s still alive and practicing when I’m ready for another revision to switch my implants out in the future! Dr. Person's office got me in with a single day's notice after I burned my fingers and was referred from the ER to see a hand specialist. Despite being advised that it was an extremely busy day for him and he'd do his best, he was promptly on-time and very personable. He spent 20-30 minutes chatting, addressing my concerns, and patching up my fingers. I've actually never been to a doctor or specialist that spent any time being friendly beyond what was required to address the problem. His office staff was also quite friendly and helpful. Worst doctor ever and his staff is the worst I ever had to deal with I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I went to Dr Person to recieve a steroid injection and I was left with hypopigmentated skin do to the injections, Dr. person is very unprofessional & I do not recommend him to anyone.

Had breast augmentation done in August 2008. On day of appointment (at Laurel Regional) Dr Person was 45 minutes late. When he finally arrived his WHOLE family was waiting in the waiting room with my husband. They were leaving on vacation directly after. When I came to I never saw Dr Person he had already left. Had horrible time healing. When I was finally able to do my follow up with Dr Person my breast were in bad shape, they were not healing and had developed huge wounds around nipple. Dr Person told me he thought my body was rejecting implants. One week later I found out I was newly pregnant at time of surgery. Pregnancy test is a screening that is to take place before surgery (I now know this)! Laurel never did pregnancy test and since my doctor was so late and wanting to get on vacation he never checked! I followed up with office clearly annoyed several times and was told by office manager to never contact the office again! I am a professional musician and, as such, rely on dexterity. When I began having trigger finger issues, I went to Dr. Person. He understood my problem and knew how to resolve them. He is very personable, funny and careful. He did a great job on my surgery and I have returned to playing my instruments without discomfort. Highly recommended!
