Dr. Damion Jay Valletta

Dr. Valletta has been incredible both times I’ve gone to see him. The staff is very professional, and he definitely knows what he is doing. My shoulder pain has now decreased dramatically after trying so many other things before seeing him. Huge thanks!

It’s an awesome office. They’re attentive, knowledgeable and kind! Dr Valletta is a brilliant surgeon with an incredibly supportive staff. I’ve been a patient for 10 years and I’m confident that I’m always in good hands.

Lousy appointments scheduling system and customer service. Called a few times during business hours and got an answering machine every single time!

Amazing ortho! I never leave reviews, but my experience at Valletta Orthopedics exceeded my expectations. Was referred by a friend and I am beyond grateful. Met with multiple surgeons, but Dr Valletta was the most knowledgeable, personable, and honest. Plus his office staff are always awesome!

I broke my wrist and a visit to the Sharp ER produced the determination that surgery was necessary. I attempted to see an orthopedic surgeon through Sharp and could not get an appointment until up to 10 days. I got a recommendation for Dr. Valletta from a friend, called his office, received an appointment within two days, had surgery within four days. Cannot recommend Dr. Valletta and his medical staff enough. Extremely skilled and talented physician!! I've had 2 surgery from Valletta Orthopedics. (knee and shoulder) I interviewed several doctors before selecting Valletta. Out of all the doctors I met with I felt the most comfortable with his approach and laying out all the options for me so I could make the an educated decision on how I wanted to proceed. Damion Valleta is a superb orthopedic surgeon and has assisted me on numerous issues with still one to go that another orthopedic trauma surgeon performed at UCSD, which was my first MISTAKE. However, Damion was out of town and I needed trauma surgery immediately. RUN don't walk from UCSD ortho dept. Stay with Damion Valetta as he does not churn patients, is fantastic at his job and truly cares about his patients. San Diego's best and finest orthopedic surgeon. Thank you Damion !!

Both my daughter and husband have had wonderful care under Dr. Valletta. My daughter is an athlete and has had numerous injuries and he is so thorough. I wouldn't take her to anyone else!
