Dr Blalock and Kellie are great to work with at Sleep Better South Carolina. I heard about their practice from my dentist. We were discussing that I needed a sleep apnea machine after my PCP had ordered a sleep study for me. My PCP ordered the sleep study because I was waking up very tired each morning. Sleep Better SC gave me a medical device you wear in your mouth at night (similar to a night guard feel-but does MUCH more than a night guard) and I did not have to get a sleep apnea machine. Which I was very happy to not have to hook up to that machine every night. The medical device is working great. Dr Blalock and Kellie explained everything to me so I had a complete understanding of how to use it and how it works. I highly recommend their practice! I’ve had great experiences at this practice. Initially my insurance denied authorization and the staff made a special request which overturned the denial. Everyone there is friendly and makes sure your needs are meet. I don’t tolerate CPAP and I am very happy to have this alternative.

Great experience, no more CPAP! Happy bed partner now too. It has helped me to stop snoring completely. Highly recommend if you hate your CPAP machine.

Sleep Better SC worked efficiently and effectively to assist with all my needs. They went above and beyond the normal course of treatment to allow me to obtain renewal of my CDL. Even when they didn’t have the best information about what was needed they did more than expected to try to help. Once more information was obtained the staff did an amazing job to get the data needed to complete my recertification. They have always been courteous, polite and accommodating. They truly are a professional staff beyond what one could ask for. I am thankful I was referred to them by my family physician. Everyone I encountered was friendly, courteous and professional. I was excited at the prospect of not using a CPAP anymore. My appliance is a great fit and 2 months in I’m still doing great and having restful nights. I highly recommend Sleep Better South Carolina.

I have so many good things to say about my experience with Sleep Better South Carolina. Most importantly though is their steadfast devotion to getting me fitted with the perfect appliance. You see, I have sensitivity issues and the first 2 appliances just didn’t work. I gave up ,thinking surely there were no more options. Since I hadn’t checked in with the office in a few weeks, Kellie called me and said that they weren’t out of ideas and that they would try a different material. My mouth tolerated this one and I’ll be forever grateful for their perseverance. Dr. Blalock and Kellie Ackerman go the extra mile for their patients and I find that to be a very uplifting thing in these times.
