I had a vasectomy done with Dr Hermansen. Really easy procedure, no complications. Simple consultation, and in and out surgery. I would refer him to others.

He has refused to see my special needs son who is checked into Florida hospital and this Dr. Is the oncall urologist. So they are going to transport my son to Halifax hospital where Derrick regular oncologist works. My son needs surgery now due to both tubes blocked by stones. My son is on Medicaid and I am sure that is why he won't help and found a way out. My son has been here for 5 hours. Now we wait to be transported. Dr. Hermansen has been my doctor for several years. I recently moved to Georgia and wish I could have brought him with me as he is such a good and caring doctor. I am now faced with the delimia of having to find another doctor who will probably not give me the care I was afforded by Dr. Hermansen
I found Dr. Hermansen to be knowledgeable, competent, friendly and, most of all, sympathetic. I certainly would recommend him to anyone needing a urologist specialist.
