Dr Allen took care of me after I had Breast Cancer surgery,he gave me cosmetic surgery, implants and reconstructed my breast so it looks natural. He was very professional and honest without candy coating or scaring you .

My experience with Dr. Allen has been wonderful. He had come recommended by another patient who was very happy with her surgery. I was looking for an expert surgeon, with a supportive staff. I found both. Dr. Allen is committed to his profession, he was able to explain the possible surgery options, his recommendations and why, the benefits, risks and complications. He answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Nina, his office manager, was also stellar, she was always available to assist with any problems or questions. She is very knowledgeable about what insurance companies need for authorization, filling out State Disability forms and always making you feel taken care of. My surgical experience was also excellent, the staff was very capable and caring, the anesthesiologist was top notch, noticing my food allergies and checking with me about my symptoms related to soy allergy, as one of the medications he wanted to use had soy in it. We discussed the options and came up with a good solution. Dr. Allen's surgical technique was exceptional. I originally came for breast reduction for back pain and with in a few days my back was feeling great and I could tell that I would have very nice, perky breasts after the normal swelling resolved. I am now 6 weeks after the surgery and I am delighted with my outcome. My healing is good. The only thing that was unexpected was the healing of the nerves and how painful it was, I was also surprised by it lasting, as my surgical pain had resolved. I called Dr. Allen and he immediately suggested I start taking Neurotin, a medication that helps decrease nerve pain. It has helped tremendously. I am back out in my garden, doing more light activity but still putting in flowers and doing Fall pruning. I couldn't recommend Dr. Allen more highly. Dr. Allen repaired my eye brow area after skin cancer removal surgery .Both he and his staff gave me the utmost of care and professionalism. They were also flexible with my needs when I had to reschedule due to personal issues. Although my surgery has not yet healed, I can see that the incision is placed artfully within my own "wrinkles" and it will be well disguised. As a previous poster noted, he is very kind and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Allen to anyone seeking excellent Plastic Surgery care.
