After being in a motorcycle accident in September 12th 2022, being misdiagnosed mistreated not listened to by other doctors I went to see Dr Austin who was highly highly recommended. I had a grade 3 shoulder separation with other injuries to include torn ligaments Etc. After finally getting the MRI that I know I needed doctor Austin called me one day shortly after the results were in and you could hear a change in his voice and it was care he stated that we we will fix this we're going to devise a plan he explained everything there. I made an appointment to go see him to discuss it further he explained everything in detail it was almost too easy going to see a doctor and having everything laid out for you just like that. He ended up doing surgery on my shoulder December 22nd and it was honestly one of the worst things I've ever gone through in my life as far as pain but I knew the outcome would overshadow anything else that I went through. Doctor Austin listened to all my complaints and concerns. Constantly suggested treatments and was very in tune to checking my progress. He was kind, thoughtful and thorough in his job. He and his team made me feel comfortable and heard. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Austin, and will go back to him if ever needed in the future. This man gave me the opportunity to experience painfree days.

My total shoulder replacement was fantastic from start to finish. Only 3 months after, I feel good as new! I couldn’t be happier with the care and results provided by Dr. Austin and his team! I highly recommend him and thank him for the amazing results!

Had this surgery before in another hospital! So different! He explained everything. If he didn't know the answers he followed up with his team. He was able to get me in as soon as he could. 6 months after surgery, wow what a difference. I'm excited to see me starting to lead a somewhat normal life. I would recommend him to everybody who needs orthopedic work!

Dr.Austin was attentive, objective and an excellent provider throughout my injury and recovery process. He explained what he was doing and what we were hoping to achieve during each phase of recovery. I have been able to return to a normal work routine and feel great. Thank you.

Dr Austin left nothing to question. From the diagnosis explanation, post surgery and all thru recovery Dr Austin stayed very involved and available . Even with my release today at 6 months post op he made me aware he would be available if needed .

Being a competitive weight lifter I was concerned about the use of my arm after the surgery. What I was left with post surgery far exceeded my expectations. Almost 11 months since the surgery and my tricep not only looks good it’s as strong as ever. Thanks Dr Austin, you are the man

Dr. Austin inspired confidence and trust with his patient and knowledgeable demeanor. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and the procedure to correct it. All my questions were answered, he was very attentive. I had the best possible outcome for a difficult and painful situation. I have been and will be recommending him to family and friends with shoulder issues.

Great, he works with his patients to find the best way to handle the situation. I had my rotor cuff repaired and now I have full range again.

Dr austin was wonderful! He listened to my story, laid out a clear plan, and performed a successful outcome. I am extremely happy with all of the interventions he suggested, from the conservative treatment to the surgical intervention.

My experience with Dr. Austin was excellent. He was clear in the explanation of what was going to be done during surgery and his instructions following surgery. I was impressed that I had a three month follow up after the initial follow up following surgery.

Dr Austin is amazing! He not only diagnosed each of my children’s issues, he explained everything to us and treated them as the patients and not numbers, Even when one child needed surgery and one didn’t, Dr Austin along with the staff at New London orthopedics has always gone above and beyond! He continues to follow up and explain care to them throughout their course of healing. Such a gem to this practice, I would refer anyone I know to him for their orthopedic care.

He got me in right away for surgery so I can get on the road to recovery to get back to my active lifestyle. I’ve had excellent results post surgery and no complications.
