About Dr. Daniel Kelly Beirne II
Reviews for Dr. Daniel Kelly Beirne II
I Highly recommend Dr. Biernes... helped me get out of pain with his precise radiology equipment . He was very compassionate & sincere.
I was sent to Beach Medical Imaging for an MRI and while waiting the other patients raved about him. I tried to make an immediate appointment but they don't take every patient and had to wait. Apparently he so busy they screen pain management patients before accepting them. After my first evaluation I was accepted as a patient. Dr Beirne was very helpful and spent time and explained my problems and treatment plan in terms I could understand. My treatments changed my life (epidural and nerve ablation). My 5 plus years of back pain resolved! He was very direct (sometimes too much). He made it clear that I had to follow his treatment plan or I would be fired as a patient. I can see that rubbing some people the wrong way, but with my results, I am happy to do what he says. The staff is awesome and really seems to care. I am happy I found them and grateful I was accepted as a patient since some are denied (see bad reviews). Only bad thing I can say is he is too busy and the wait time.
I started with Dr Bierne in 2010 when he diagnosed a poorly performed hip surgery. I had to return to Mayo Clinic for them to repair their mistake. Since then I have had treatments for my back including nerve ablation. I recommend him highly. The staff is exceptional always.
Referred to Dr Beirne’s a few years ago.saw a bulging disc. Injections and still perfect. He literally saved my life. Seeing him tomorrow for neck issue. I think he the man to help me.
Had an MRI and injection for shoulder pain. Friendly staff and doctor who patiently explained in detail both the procedure and the results.
All the negative reviews we right! First of all the original appointment was scheduled for my mothers back. By the third appointment they not only hadn’t addressed her back issues but never even did a CAT scan on her back. We had a 9:30 appointment and while waiting for the doctor to arrive, the assistant addressed my concerns and came up with a plan. An hour and a half later Dr Beirne arrived to the office. He discussed the new plan with us and I left the room. He came out and stopped me. He said if I wanted to come to her appointments it could only be the follow ups not procedure appointments. He than stated that he was behind because he had to change her plan. I told him no, your behind because you just arrived. He lost it, started pointing his finger in my face, yelling get out of my office, I will not work with you. He then proceeded to walk in the room where my 93 year old mother was lying on the table and and shouted Get Her Off the Table!
Was referred by urgent care to Dr Beirne. I have never been treated with such rudeness, arrogance and disrespect by any doctor in my life. He was demeaning. He didn't listen. Instead he made uncalled for comments about my teeth, said without testing he could just tell I had sleep apnea and was very body and age shaming. I don't go to a doctor to be treated harshly or spoken to like a misbehaving child. I'd never recommend him. I was embarrassed.
My Doctor referred me to Dr. Beirne's office, when I told her of my concerning back pain. I didn't know what to expect, but from the scan to the treatment the process was very easy. He saw I have bulging discs and arthritis in my lower back and explained in easy terms why I was a good candidate for pain management. I received a few injections and RFA to a nerve. The pain is gone for now, but I like how he is straightforward and explained I need to say proactive and continue to walk daily.
Thanks to the staff and Beach Medical Imaging and Dr. Beirne for getting me in quickly for my neck pain. I was nervous about getting an mri, but your equipment was not what I expected, no tunnel to worry about. I can't say enough about Dr. Beirne's thoroughness and appreciate how he explained my injury and healing process. Feeling much better and I am glad to be able to get back to work. Thank you!
Never have I dealt with such arrogance in my life. From the very minute I met Dr. Beirne, he was of zero help and placed himself at the epitome of rude. He's unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend him if my life depended on it.
Absolutely one of the best Doc’s I have encountered. Long term back pain due to L4-5 and S1 compression and deterioration, Dr. Beirne has been excellent in his care and professional in his approach, pain management has been very successful and he has saved me from debilitating back surgery. I read the negative reviews, they just don’t appreciate his dry sense of humor, he’s a great doctor and very professional........as is his staff. Takes additional time to explain in depth and answer questions
My 85 year old father had an MRI there and was having difficulty getting off the table. The tech, Rod, proceeded to get impatient with him and started cursing. This is unacceptable and grounds for termination. I had confidence that Dr. Beirne was going to handle this professionally but instead rationalized Rod's behavior. Unbelievable! There are places out there that still treat patients w/dignity and respect and make eye contact. I have been an RN for 26 years and this is not that place!
Wow. I have never been treated with such disrespect. He has got to be the rudest doctor I have ever seen. He complained that all the doctors in our area can afford million dollar homes but him. Then he continued to preach to me about medical office protocol insisting that his staff wasn't responsible for knowing how to handle incoming phone calls and that I personally should have known not to trust the information they provided me. I will NEVER return to him for anything again!!
I warn everyone to stay away from this doctor. I went in to have an injection to a lowered vertebra. I was prepped and ready lying face down on the table with all the attending tubes and wires attached. I stayed there for 1/2 an hour before Dr. Beirne arrived. he asked, Where does it hurt?" I answered, "Where doesn't it hurt?" Dr. Beirne loudly said, "Get her off the table, and send her home." He stalked out of the room.
No chance of revisit. My 88 year old father, with back pain waited an hour and 20 minutes to see the doctor. When his back pain and discomfort waiting was too much,I told the nurse he couldn't wait much longer than 5 or 10 minutes. Could she tell us how much longer it would be? and the doctor told him'in a Curt tone from the other room-he can leave! He can leave! He can leave! No explaintation of how long it might be. Just a curt you can leave. This is no level of service! Below unprofessional!
Went there for long-standing back pain epidural. He was rough with me and hurt me. He forgot to give me a prescription for medication and when I asked for it, he became very loud and angry. Told me never to return. Even his office staff was embarrassed by his treatment of me. Afterwards, I went to an orthopedist who diagnosed scoliosis. I had surgery with rods put in and a lot of therapy afterwards. It was rough recovery and this surgeon and his staff were wonderful.
Dr. Beirne follows through with diagnosis and treatment. He does not consider the process finished until all problems have been adequately addressed. He cares about the patient and the outcomes. He does an excellent job of describing his approach to a problem and how he plans to solve it.
