Dr. Daniel John Dudrick

My dad was in rehab 2 years ago and had a follow up appt . Staff was rude and acted like it was an imposition we were there . ( dr. Later apologized) Subsequently sent in Family leave papers for him to sign so that I could help take care of my dad and assist my mom . He neglected to do them . He finally sent them in after I called but it seemed they didn’t care . Most recently - a week ago dropped Family leave papers off to him to fill out again along with his condition . No paperwork, no call nothing . My dad passed away . Dr . Dudrick is charismatic but no empathy . The last thing a caring family member wants to do is chase down paperwork when your parent is ill or dying .

Dr Dudrick is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor he cares about his patients and takes time to explain your diagnosis in layman’s terms

( the doctor apologized ) Later ,sent in FMLA papers for my dad the first time which I had to call them and remind them to fill out as they were not done . ( it was important for me to help take care of my dad and assist my mom) He finally filled them out . As the papers have to be updated, I dropped off another set of papers to be signed almost a week ago along with my fathers status … no call nothing …. My father passed away in the meantime. Heard nothing from his office . Dr . Dudrick is charismatic however his empathy is lacking .

I recently received my yearly wellness exam. Dr Dudrick made me feel comfortable. He was very thorough and answered all of the questions I had regarding my health. I would recommend Dr Dudrick to family & friends as their primary family physician. This is a review of my follow up appointment, post wellness exam. Dr. Dudrick reviewed and explained in detail all of my lab test results. He is respectful & down to earth, explaining all details on a level a patient can understand. Dr. Dudrick is very respectful & professional, puts you at ease and has a sense of humor.

Personal relationship, full review of the tests taken just prior. Nice/pleasant conversation with attention to future medical needs.

I think Dr. Dudrick is a great doctor . He takes time to hear your symptoms and is straight forth with an answer

Dr. Dudrick is very professional, thorough, and listens when you have a concern. He has a great, friendly, welcoming staff. I've been seeing Dr. Dudrick for years, and would definitely recommend him.

Doctor Dudrick is a great Doctor, he has alot of knowledge and compassion for his patients. He is a good listener and gives you the best advice for your medical condition. We are lucky to have such a person as him in Mountain Top to care for the young and the old. Thanks Doctor Dudrick.

Dr.Daniel Dudrick has been my primary care physician for quite a few years now. I would never even consider going to any other doctor. When I go for my annual checkup or if I have any health needs Dr Dudrick gives his absolute attenrion and care during my visits. He is very informative and offers natural; healthy treatment as opposed to just throwing medications at any issue. He explains everything in detail in laymans terms to give a complete concise and informative visit. He is friendly and jovial. Makes visits an enjoyable experience. My hope is that he continues his practice in our area as he is a compliment to his profession and an asset to Commonwealth Health. Very professional staff and Top Notch Informative Doctor..

Dr Dudrick is very professional. He takes your individualized health care plan very serious and takes the time to explain any preventative care. He is easy to talk to, attentive and follows up on any concerns you have. It’s nice not to feel rushed and to feel like you’ve received good care. I always leave with my questions answered!

Dr Dudrick and staff are very pleasant. They do not rush you around, they are respectful of appointment times. Comfortable atmosphere.

The whole experience is excellent. Staff is kind,thoughtful and knowledgeable. Dr. Dudrick is great. I appreciate his caring attitude, takes time, great personality. I am grateful for all connected with this practice.

I met with Dr. Dudrick most recently in a teleconference. He is friendly and answered any questions I posed. He helped me get my blood pressure medication and nasal spray refilled. I felt comfortable sharing about my health and trust his advice about my health.

Good practice with experienced friendly staff. Dr Dudrick takes plenty of time with you to check & discuss any concerns or questions you have. Man saved my leg with his offbeat diagnosis of a condition I had over a year ago. I listen when he discusses treatment & testing.

I only wish I could give a 0 rating to this physician and his staff. I stopped in to the practice after physical therapy, TWO WEEKS AGO, and asked if I could fill out paperwork for my husband and myself to become his patients, because my doctor had passed away. I assumed they'd give me a bible high bunch of paperwork to take home and fill out and instead they said they would have to check with the doctor to see if he would take us as patients. THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO! I never heard from the office so I called them to be sure it wasn't just laxity on the part of the staff or the physician and wanted to know if the doctor had been off, if they had a family illness or if they were away on vacation because than I'd understand the long delay. They said no such thing had happened and I told them I had found someone else. I am also reporting this to the Commonwealth Health System. I had made it clear that my husband needed an upcoming appt. and blood work, etc. and still no one called me. And I am on my third implanted device in my chest. If this is the way they respond to someone who wants to become a patient how long does it take them to respond to an actual patient with a serious medical problem. I certainly would never feel safe with such a physician and such a practice so I am doing what I have come to know that I have to do in this area, use Geisinger and go to the Danville, Geisinger location or to major hospitals located elsewhere in the country. This place is a joke! Don't even waste your time here! They can't even return your call in a timely manner to set up an initial appointment. You shouldn't have to beg to obtain medical care from anyone. It's ridiculous! I only wish I could give a 0 rating to this physician and his staff. I really appreciate his expertise. Of course, I am just the patient, but my last doctor would start me into prescriptions at the first available opportunity. Dr. Dudrick gives good advice about proper diet and exercise to suit specific problems, and only prescribes medication if he really thinks you need it. To me that seems like good medical practice. STAY AWAY!!! Horrible person to deal with. Never calls prescriptions in. My wife is a diabetic and he won’t call anything in for her and also canceled her as a patient with little to no notice because she wouldn’t follow his orders and visit them just about every week. He sees a patient with an illness and tries to get as much money out of their insurance and has not a care in the world for his patients. Bad business practice. He’s not fit to park cars!! He told me to take a 12-hour decongestant and a 4-hour decongestant simultaneously. I thought this didn't seem right, so I had him write this down to be sure I understood him. I then showed it my pharmacist. He said that that was a bad idea, provided no benefit and was dangerous. I also had to go to Hazleton General to be properly diagnosed/treated for pneumonia [less than 24 hrs after seeing him]. It's almost impossible to get a prescription refilled in a timely manner.

I have been overwhelmed by Dr. Dudrick's thoroughness. As a Quadriplegic, I needed to replace a 20 year power wheelchair. Dr. Dudrick and his staff worked tirelessly to make it happen.

This man is incompetent, I hesitate to even call him a doctor. He has misdiagnosed and when another doctor steps in to help he is not even competent enough to follow their instructions. If you value your health or the health of your family members stay far away.
