Dr. Daniel Lawrence Shinners

I have been very pleased with Dr. Shinner and, really, his entire office staff. An example from today was their fitting in my mom (his patient) when she called with a new cough. I know they can’t always do this, but we really appreciated it. Their front desk staff is efficient and nice. We have also dealt with his excellent female PA (very kind and informative). MA and nurse (I think she’s a nurse?) also great. In my elderly mom’s words, “Well he tries his best to fix me.” Haha.

The staff was absolutely awesome, I felt comfortable with everyone and they all were very friendly, Special thank you too Allison for explaining all my lung issues very clearly to me, And Kim for helping with my breathing test, both couldn't have been any better, 5 stars from me!

If I'm going to a Pulmonologist then things are not good and I'm on edge when I walk in the door. The staff was professional. All tests were clear and walked through beforehand. The doctor had read all my documentation and looked through my XRays before we sat down. That's not normal. It should be but it's not. He answered all my questions and gave me time to think of follow ups. I wasn't rushed. Best visit to a doctors office in a long time. I had absolutely no problems with him.

I've had the worst experience ever with this Dr. I have been calling and leaving msgs to talk about my cpap and I haven't heard back from the office! I'm just done with this place! Obviously they dont care!

Just ok place in my opinion I rated b/c of my past experiences upon entering the practice and feeling like I am not welcomed by the staff. Maybe they have a lot of off days or just don't like me but they could be more pleasant and kinder in the words they use with the Doctors patients. I take the good which is Dr. Daniel and I'm overlooking the rudeness of some of the staff. I felt disrespected and poorly listened to. I felt he never addressed my questions and concerns. When I asked for more information about assessments, he was annoyed that I was asking so many questions and told me "that if I didn't agree with his diagnoses that I should go and consult with someone else". So I did!!!!! The sleep study lab is awful and I had two terrible experiences in there. Don't go there! To get another doctor in that practice, you have to go on a 3 month waiting list!
