He and his group are the best!!

Surgery and recovery for my mom have been successful. We are very thankful for Dr Zinar. My mom had a previous hip fractured and then she fell and fractured her femur so the surgery was more complicated.

Dr. Zinar was the only orthopedic surgeon who had the skill to help me when I fractured my patella. I have a very complicated and long orthopedic history since childhood, and the other three surgeons I visited told me they could not help. Dr. Zinar allowed me to return to my prior state of health and near full function. (I'm still in physical therapy.) Even my scar is better than I expected. His staff is also very kind, efficient, and compassionate. I was in and out today in under 35 minutes, and I even had x-rays!! I wish I would have found Dr. Zinar sooner???? I've seen doctor Zinar for many years post surgery. He's kind and he listens and he doesn't push a particular kind of treatment on you.

He's an amazing Dr. He made me feel very comfortable during a difficult time.

Excellent Surgeon, Had a broken elbow in a Motorcycle accident. Did surgery, put 2 screws & after 3 months my arm is pretty much 80% back to normal & hopefully in a month or so it will be close to 100%

Dr Zinar is an outstanding masterful ortho surgeon. Clearly an expert. We are extremely pleased with the results. Yet... be prepared to work hard and more than you have to with the Torrance office staff which are not as impressive and not as excellent. Mine wasn't a visit. I was in the hospital waiting for a doctor who could fix my broken femur bone, and take the broken, screwed on plate out of my leg. Dr. Zinar, even though very busy told me he would do the surgery (I was happy because I had heard good things about him). An awesome man! My leg turned out perfect and has given me no problem. Highly recommend Dr. Zinar.

Dr. Zinar is the reason my son did not loose his leg from a serious motorcycle accident. He pieced his leg back together in a complicated surgery that from what I hear now from other doctors is the reason he has his leg and is almost back to normal. He is a gifted surgeon and highly respected by other physicians as one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in CA and the country. He is also very kind and not pretentious at all. We were truly blessed to have had him as our sons surgeon and am forever grateful to him.

I broke my humerus in half one year ago. He may not be as available as some people like but he has an excellent staff. My interactions with him were very positive, he is compassionate and everytime he examined my arm, had a soft touch and gentle. Finally, after 2 weeks with a partial cast which was untolerable, they got me into surgery at TMH in one week. All went great. Scheduling my final appointment for Feb 2020. If anything ever happens again, I will definately return to Dr. Zinar and staff!!

Dr. Zinar was an excellent surgeon (5 stars for sure), but his Long Beach office staff were horrible; they were the worst I've ever experienced. In addition, the Long Beach office is in a really old building in an industrial area of Long Beach. The office is really small and very old!!! Clock battery on the wall died and it stayed like that for months. Makes you wonder about what else isn't being maintained. Lazy staff in my opinion. Their paperwork is something from the 70's - kind of like the building with misspellings and bad grammar. No customer service at all!!!!!! For example, I called for assistance with a prescription after surgery and going homeand had to end up going to urgent care for my pain because they couldn't help me until the doctor was back in the office (4 days later). You can't call the doctor or his PA??? When you're in pain, you don't want to wait 4 days. Then, they couldn't call a pharmacy like most modern medical facilities. I had to have my husband drive to their office to pick up the prescription (30 minute drive). When I needed paperwork filled out (simple paperwork), they gave me a hard time about it and charged me $20 to write a few sentences and get the doctor's signature. Is the surgeon that hard up for cash that they have to charge $20 to sign a form??? I wouldn't go back to Dr. Zinar just based off of very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. He put my tibia together with 13 screws and 2 plates 12 years ago and everything has been perfect since.

Dr. Zinar is not available to his patients. He did not make time to see my elderly mother and did not listen to her concerns. He passes off his duties to physician assistants and does not treat older people the same as others. Negative stars if I could.

I had a mountain biking accident and had multiple fractures in both wrists. Luckily Dr Zinar was coming in the next morning to operate at Torrance Memorial and I was able to get on his schedule. I am having a good recovery. He and his office has been great with their care and service along with my disability paperwork. I really appreciate all their help in this traumatic period for me so I can get back to my life and my job. Thank you again !

Dr. Zinar is hands down the best trauma/pelvis surgeon around! Besides my own complicated surgery, I know four other accident victims who owe their lives to him! It was doubtful I would survive, let alone every walk again, but I am doing both, thanks to Dr. Zinar!

This Doctor is just pure brilliance. I've had many operations performed by him, and he has saved my leg. Remember if you are looking for an orthopaedic surgeon the letter Z. Dr. Zinar.

I shattered my ankle in 1992 in Torrance, CA. I was initially told by a emergency nurse that I might not be able to walk again. Many doctors walked in just to review the multiple fracture. A young doctor came in from his vacation on Good Friday. With the help of an assistant they fixed the dislocation and he told me he could repair the fractures. That next week I left the hospital on crutches with 16 screws and 3 metal plates in my ankle. That was over 24 years ago and I've been walking ever since with no other surgery. Dr. Zinar was a Godsend. I was hit by a car while in a crosswalk in 2009. My right leg was broken. Compound fracture. UGLY compound fracture. Took 2 surgeries and a titanium rod, but I'm good as new! While in the ER the staff told me they'd called a surgeon. My sister wanted to know everything about the surgeon they called. They asked her: "do you have a surgeon in mind?" She replied: "Yes. I want the BEST!" To which the staff responded: "Well, you're in luck. HE IS THE BEST." I've been to one other orthopedic surgeon since then who asked me after reviewing my x-ray who did the work on my leg. I told him that it was Dr. Zinar and he said: "Oh, he's the best. I COMPLETELY AGREE. DR. Zinar did hip surgery on my dad after a fall. It was a serious and unusual break. He did an amazing job. I could tell the staff didn't like him because he is very demanding but he is wonderful with his patients. I thank the Lord for him. Two other orthopedic surgeons told me he is the best in the state.

Dr ZINAR is top shelf top tier he is not your average orthopedic surgeon I was involved in a horrible MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT BROKEN PELVIS BROKEN HIP the very core of my skeletal structure was broken and broken bad Dr ZINAR put me back together again he gave me the gift of MOBILITY HE is the reason I can walk he saved my life allowed me to be independent once again God bless Dr ZINAR
