Dr. Danko Martincic

Dr. Danko is an incredible doctor! He listened to me when every other doctor I had seen before had told me my case was hopeless. In my first appointment he paused me at one point and said, "hold that thought," popped out his cell and stepped out of the room to call another doctor with a different specialty. "Hello! How you doin'? Are you near a computer?" I heard him say before he walked down the hall. When he came back five minutes later he told me that he found me another specialist who will take my specific surgery on, and that they had made a plan to, "get this thing out of you" because "you are too young to be dealing with this sh*t" and if this guy couldn't do it, "we'll find a guy in San Francisco, or Seattle, or whatever." I cried in my car on the way home. Dr. Danko gave me hope again. See him first. He will try with all his might to help you.

Dr. Danko is the absolute best. I would not be here to write this review if it was not for him and his staff! He saved my life. He is compassionate, of course excellent, a very hard worker and he also responded to my needs in more than a timely manner. So what if the wait time is 2 hours... time very well spend to get treatment from the best Doctor there is. If I could he would easily get 10 stars from me. Thank you Dr. Danko, you are my hero!!

Dr. Danko is an incredible doctor and human being. Contrary to the 2 negative reviews I see here, he is competent, resourceful, has excellent rapport with patients, very experienced and knowledgeable. I see a complaint about "wait time"...doctors have nothing to do with the complainer's wait time. He will spend as much time with you as needed. He's saving lives and it's so very unfortunate that other patients medical care doesn't work with the complainer's schedule. Don't let your "shallow opinion and impatience" cloud a nurturing physician's career

There is no better! If not for Dr Danco (which is what patients call him) I would probably not be around to praise him. Hardest working man I have ever met. I had had two other Dr’s at CCNW and even after chemo treatments there had been no progress in treating my cancer. Dr Danco took over and came up with a plan that finally worked. I was in the hospital several times and he would visit me every morning and discuss the plans for that day. Finally we got to the point where I could get a stem cell transplant. Again I was in the hospital for a month and again Dr Danco saw me daily and kept me informed. I have been in remission for about nine months now and feeling good. The man is a miracle worker and totally loves what he does. I always knew where I stood.

Dr. Danko is the best. He made time to see me on his day off to ensure I got the best treatment possible and his attitude and communication throughout were impeccible. He's passionate, loves his patients and works harder than anyone I've ever met. His positive and determined attitude was a tremendous help in a really difficult time and part of the reason I'm alive. He must be hard to work with--I know I couldn't keep up the pace he sets. But I can't imagine going through chemo with anyone else.

Dr Danko failed to follow drug manufacturer guidelines for mitigating adverse reactions which left me with permanent damage, then calls it successful treatment.The Dr. also promise's to do things, and then never does it, and his staff is tired of fixing his neglect. There are other choices out there.

Dr. Danko Matincic, although may be a great doctor, his staff, are rude and indifferent. He doesn't return calls for days, if at all. A call to the attending nurse is normally handled with indifference. Wait time is crazy 2 hours minimum. Their is other Doctors in Spokane, go to them cancer is not a game and should not be treated as one.

Dr. Danko is absolutely the best! He takes a long time with you as a patient explaining all aspects of your health and is straightforward about any issues he's concerned with. He listens to you intently and has returned calls or texts in the evenings as well! His staff is also very helpful and thorough. We would highly recommend him for any internal issues!
