I would like to file a lawsuit against this practice for their gross negligence. We took our 1 year old here for genetic testing due to hearing loss back in 2019 they sent us the reports never did follow up only tested for the minimum. I’ve disgusted with the unprofessional in at goryeb so we switch over to Hackensack. Low and behold we all have FSHD muscular dystrophy which is very commonly related to hearing loss. How does a geneticist miss this??? This practice should be shut down.

This office is extremely unresponsive. I have called for test results that I know are in because I spoke directly with the testing company, and I still have not received a phone call back. I have called morning and afternoon for 4 days now. I have left messages and still no response. They do not answer the phone and they do not return calls. When I have spoke with people in the office, they have been friendly and knowledgeable but their availability is horrible.
DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. THEY ARE UNRESPONSIVE. THEY CALLED TO GIVE US RESULTS REGARDING OUR SON AND GOT OUR VOICEMAIL. WE RETURNED THE CALL WITHIN AN HOUR. WE HAVE CALLED EVERY WEEK SINCE THAT DAY (2 MONTHS AGO) AND ARE TOLD THEY WILL CALL US BACK WITH THE RESULT AND WE STILL DO NOT HAVE THE RESULTS. WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OUR SONS RESULTS FOR TWO MONTHS!
Dr Adams was so knowledgeable and patient explaining everything to me and answering my questions. When I needed a script for a handicap placecard for my children he was the only one who quickly responded with what I need. He also was the only doctor to give me a declaration of diagnoses letter when I couldn't get in touch with the other doctors. Very accessible and friendly. His genetic counselor seemed more like a friend than a medical professional. Very knowledgeable and kind.
He was calm and really listened. Took great detailed medical history of family and explained condition in easy to understand way.
