She is the best. We've been going to her for 14 years and she does so good with kids with special needs!

As far as Hospitalized Dentistry scheduling goes, Darla is not able to properly accommodate. One time, she had my son on a list with the wrong dentist, that delayed his treatment an entire year. Last time, it was delayed by 6 months. Only 3 times in 18 years, has my son had treatment, so when we agreed on every 2 years, I hoped it would actually happen. After I complained to Dr. Hechanova, infront of Darla, about the timeliness issues, as well as not receiving promised x-rays (again), she sent out a letter, denying my son treatment. She is the mediator between Redwood Coast Regional Center Clients, and Partnership/Medi-Cal Hospitalized Dentistry. She's mad at me, for complaining about her, so my son suffers even more??? We now have to leave the area, for treatment. I don't know why she can't schedule better than she does, and even when he does get scheduled, it's after me constantly having to nag about it. My son was in pain, the last round for sure. Completely sideways wisdom tooth, pressing on the teeth. More seizures, etc. Doesn't matter to her I guess. Doesn't she wonder why I was upset? She wouldn't even allow another person to mediate on my behalf, between my son and her! My son did nothing to her, and she is denying him care here locally. If anyone else goes through this, I hope you write a review too! Enough is enough! RCRC clients, suffer enough without this garbage! She does an outdtanding job cleaning my teeth an inspects each tooth very carefully. She is very gentle and professional.
