It was the best healthcare experience I every had. Dr. Kan and his whole team were simply amazing. They could not have done a better job with the surgery. It was impressive how well coordinated everyone was and evident that they all knew their role. Only time will tell but I am very confident I will regain everything I lost when I injured my shoulder.

He first checked the shoulder he repaired, with was healing faster than expected. Then check my other shoulder that I fell on while skiing. He said it was fine and was just a bruised muscle.

The entire procedure was expertly done. The only drawback was the lack of communication with physical therapy. My first appointment won't be until 3 weeks later since they were never informed

He was professional, friendly, and explained my condition and procedure in such a way that a lay person could understand. His skill as a surgeon was excellent and at the same time, he and his team put me at ease. Dr. Kan's follow up was thorough. He worked with me to make my transition back to work comfortable for my continued recovery. I highly recommend him!

easy to communicate with - clear and concise outstanding support group

Doctor Kan did a very good job on my right arm. I still need 6 more weeks of therapy, which Dr. Kan told me I would probably need. 4 months total for my arm to be 100%. The only problem I had was my upper inner lip being raw and swollen from the surgery. One of the nurse practitioners explained why that happened to me. It was a strange good experience.

I’m very happy with the results of my knee surgery. I kept postponing my surgery for 7 months and finally got it done. I’m glad I did it this time. Now, it’s time for PT! Thank you Dr. Kan

I have required 3 surgeries in my life, all of them performed by Dr Kan. I greatly appreciate his honesty and his attempts to make the most of rehab wherever possible, before offering surgery. For this alone, he has earned my trust completely. I had painful meniscal tears of the knee in 2000 and again in 2022, both of which were nicely repaired by Dr Kan, allowing me to return to endurance running and trialthlon events. More recently, I needed Dr Kan to repair a large labral tear of the shoulder, associated with a full thickness retracted tear of the supraspinatus. I am currently in rehab for that injury and repair. Very grateful to Dr Kan for each of these 3 surgeries, as well as his non-surgical management of other sports injuries that I have had, throughout the years.

My experience with Dr. Kan and his staff was very thorough and compassionate when it came to my questions pertaining to surgery before, during and after. I would highly recommend Dr. Kan and his team.

So far my experience with Dr. Kan has been awesome! I just had surgery on my shoulder and am in the recovery/PT phase of treatment. I would've liked having the Dr. come and speak with me after surgery to discuss what was done but I assume he was busy with another patient. Same for my initial follow up after surgery, I was attended to by one of his assistants and although she was thorough and explained what was done I would've preferred speaking with the doctor.

Very happy with the results of my rotator cuff surgery with Dr Kan. It has been a little over 5 months and I have starting throwing again with no pain in the shoulder. Taking it slow since I haven't thrown since April and had surgery on August 2. Shouldn't be long before everything is back to normal.

Dr Kan has worked diligently to identify and resolve my shoulder problems. Tried non-surgical approach with PT to avoid unnecessary surgery. Once he determined that surgery was necessary, he explained what needed to be done and scheduled it. Office and surgery staff were pleasant and professional throughout the entire process.

Dr. Kan is awesome. Figured out what my problem was and it's getting better with time. Went to other Doctors and PT to no avail. He explains things thoroughly and provides guidance on exercises, massage, etc. to help get things better.

This was my first visit to Dr. Kan's office and I was impressed right away by the beautiful facility, large open spaces for seating, modern design, friendly and courteous staff, and ease of registering. It was a very comforting environment. I was in and out in good time as well which is greatly appreciated. I have heard many good things about Dr. Kan and I trust I am in good hands! It was helpful how he explained what was wrong with my shoulder by using the diagrams in the pamphlet which helped me visualize what was happening internally in my shoulder. I am grateful that he was direct and to the point and could schedule my surgery quickly. I look forward to getting back to 100% and I'm sure I'll get the best care possible under his watch. I also appreciated his staff, Eliah? and Danny, and the gal who scheduled my surgery and other related appointments; they were all so courteous and accommodating and helped make me feel comfortable.

The nurse was friendly and immediately recognized me. After filling out the usual form I was shown to a room and seen by a nurse practitioner for preliminary appraisal. A few minutes later, Dr. Kan came in to confirm my condition, and the medication for my shot was requested for approval by HMSA.

The delay in the appointment was filling out the tablet.

I’ve had shoulder Pain for about a year and a half before seeing him. I know something was wrong because I could not open doors and jars and had numbness in my arm. I had surgery and recovery was slow but I no longer have pain everyday in my shoulder. He is an excellent surgeon

If I can still shoot in the 70s after this I will highly recommend him - I already have numerous times I also hope I can play piano again, because I never could before
