David Albrecht

I came to his office after moving to MI from GA. I have pre-existing care and symptoms related to a chronic condition that have yielded several abnormal blood results. I saw him twice. Once as a new patient intake and once on a video visit for flare up of symptoms. Both times his notes state that anxiety and depression are causing my symptoms. I was told my recent blood work done through them was normal but when I looked at them I had worse abnormal results than in GA and was vitamin D deficient as well. You would think a good primary care physician would at the very least want to remedy very obvious vitamin deficiencies, but this was not brought up at all. I hope this helps anyone see how he sees his female patients symptoms as “psychosocial” as he put it. And as a final note: my rheumatologist saw that very same bloodwork and was highly concerned and started me on immune suppressants. He is biased and completely disregarded my medical history, my concerns, my pain, and actual results

Always get sent a bill in the mail after a visit no matter if I pay in full or am told insurance fully covers. Liars and crooks!

Dr. Albrecht has been so wonderful with my mother. She has many health issues and he and his staff are so attentive and extremely thorough. They truly care about their patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Albrecht. Thank you, Heidi Hasenfratz

Dr. Albrecht has been my husband and I Dr. for over 5 years. His staff from his nurses to his PA Tina Haan give you exceptional care! Even during the pandemic whenever we call the office we are immediately connected to someone! He listens and explains everything to you in a way you understand! The front office reception is excellent! The wait time is less than 10 mins. Just a place that makes you feel comfortable. My husband was recently diagnosed with Diabetes type 2 and his nurses worked with our insurance to find a place to deliver his supplies at the best price thank you Ryan!

Dr. Albrecht listens to his patients and truly cares about each one. He is the primary care provider for my 91 year old mother, my 76 year old husband and for me. I have great confidence in his recommendations for my health and the specialists he refers me to. Although he takes the time necessary for each visit it is rare that I have needed to wait to see him and when I did, I knew it was because he was giving the same focused attention to another patient that he gives to me. The staff is also very kind and helpful.

Very quick to get in and out of the Dr office. Staff is wonderful. Dr Albrecht is very easy to talk to and explains the medical issues that's easy to understand. Thank you.

I switched physicians to Dr. Albrecht, as my other physician was uncaring, unhelpful and very unprepared for my appts. My first visit with Dr. Albrecht was a fabulous experience! He was prepared for my visit, is extremely personable, caring and earnestly wants to help with my medical issues. The staff is very friendly & helpful. I have recommended him to other family members. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking a good physician! It's very refreshing to find a physician that sees you as a human being, rather than a number. Really a caring doctor. Very experienced with diabetes. He was able to get me down and nearly off my insulin with some other newer therapies, and diet changes. I couldn't find a doctor that could help me the way Dr. Albrecht has done.

A very personable physician. I have been with Dr. Albrecht for nearly 6 years and I have referred many family members to him. I trust his medical knowledge and judgment. I have observed first hand his ability to manage complicated medical issues.

Voted Best Physician of Metro Health Hospital 2015. Very skilled-great Internal Medicine doc. That means a lot if voted for this honor by his peers, colleagues and staff. Dr. Albrecht is great. Listens well, cares a ton about your well-being. Challenges you to make the necessary lifestyle changes to promote health.

Dr Albrecht is extremely arrogant. He even said he was the best Dr around. He did not help me at all

I've been a patient of Dr. Albrecht for over 10 years. He is a very good doctor, always took care of any problems that I had. He takes your health very seriously. He listens to your concerns and addresses anything you ask him. I would recommend him very highly.

Very skilled physician. Compassionate & caring. Manages diabetes and chronic diseases with tremendous skill and talent. Hard to find a physician that is compentent and willing to manage challenging multiple disease processes. So hard to find a physician office that can do this, and do it good.

Great Dr. Office staff is poor. No longer excepting fax request for scripts. Called office 7. Yes 7 times and not once got the call back. Need a refill phone line. Way to hard to get refills. Will be looking for new dr.if this doesn't get fixed fast. Sick of calling, not getting a response. Not everyone has or is computer savvy. Need to accept fax refill requests directly from pharmacies again. No excuse!!!! My husband is disabled. This office makes it inexcusably difficult!

I fired him immediately (and Metro Health) after I explained that I wanted to know what the tests I was being given were, what information they would determine, and why they were being given to me. His reply was That is nothing for you to be concerned about, it is my worry. and his refusal to budge from this stance. I will not be returning to either Metro Health or him.

Great guy that explains things to you in a no non sense way
