Dr Browning is a. Kind and careing Dr He always makes you feel comfortable explaining all problems so you can understand.

I have eye issues that require frequent testing. Dr. Browning shows such concern for my issues and I feel confident in his abilities.

Dr. Browning and his entire staff are professional and personable. My monthly visits are always informative and pleasant.

Dr Browning is an excellent doctor, very precise and a kind person with a big heart and the staff very professional.

He is spectacular with me. He understands the diabetes and other illnesses that mess with my eyes. He always gives options, most important to get this done, or wait and work on blood sugars. He truly cares about me and my eyes. He is there to help and he is the best at every surgery. I've had a lot.

I've been seeing Dr Browning for about 3 years now. He has treated me for diabetic retinopathy. I've been through many injections laser and surgeries. He has saved my eyesight and I don't know what I would do without him. He is a genius.

Dr Browning is the best he made me feel comfortable and safe during exams and surgery he is caring and his staff also i don't want to see any other eye doctor thanks for all your help

Dr. Browning and his staff gave me an excellent check up today. Dr. Browning was patient with my questions and answered all of them and at the end of the visit he asked me a couple of times if I had any more questions. I appreciated all of that and the fact that I did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Browning gave me plenty of time for this visit. I highly recommend Dr Browning and his staff. Everyone was professional and efficient. Checkin was easy . Dr. Browning is very professional, but personable, explains things in an understandable way, and listens.

Dr Browning has a terrific “bedside manner” making his patients very comfortable and secure about their treatment. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and skilled when it comes to retina related problems.

Everyone is friendly! Practice is clean with lots of hand sanitizer stations. Evry technician/ nurse and Dr Browning explain step by step what they are doing what to do what to expect. I had my first CRVO tx about a month ago I was scared my Dr and nurse made sure I understood the process and put me at ease. The goal is to keep my eye sight and today was a great day! Dr Browning was really happy about my progress it wasn’t a fake yeay you did it! it was genuine keep up the good work!. He does cares about his patients. My only regret is not listening to him the first and second time I saw him. My eye probably would’ve not gotten worse if I would’ve follow his advice on treatment sooner! Good thing he explains things down to the T and is brutally honest in a good way about what the consequences of each action will be. Everyone is friendly! The office has a great atmosphere feeling Everyone is so nice and want to help.

Dr. Browning has done a fantastic job in addressing the three detached retina procedures that I’ve had. He did a really good job with his annual check up as he does with all my appointments!

Dr. Browning and his staff are incredible. They are knowledgeable and professional while still being patient and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Browning to anyone needing a retina specialist or facing retina surgery.

He and his staff are outstanding- really neat people. Things do go astray on certain visits that result in unusually long wait times. That makes it difficult to plan. It was worse with another provider at a different Charlotte EENT location.

Dr. Brownings expertise as oophthamolic researcher, examiner and surgeon is advanced not only by degree and the state of North Carolina as doard examiner for disability cases, but moreso by the express opinions of his oatients such as myself. Dr. Browning is always through in his examination. He is personable and patient, answering any questions you might have. Most of all he is very knowledgeable and has saved my sight when others didn't know what was going on with me. I am thankful for him.

Dr. Browning is truly one of the smartest people I have ever had the privilege of interacting with. I walked into his office extremely uneasy after a negative experience with my regular optometrist. My first visit to Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat was to see retina specialist David Browning on 6/16/20. Upon entering the 4th floor reception area and waiting room I was appalled at the lack of social distancing. The waiting room was crowded, chairs were touching each other with very few empty ones. Patients were required to wear masks however the doctors were not. Dr.Browning was NOT gloved, masked or wearing a face shield, all safety protocols recommended by The American Academy of Ophthalmology. I was particularly concerned when he was inches away from me using the slit-lamp without a face shield. I found the total disregard for patient safety egregious and shared my thoughts with the practice manager. His feedback was nothing but excuses. I have contacted the NC Department of Public Health in Raleigh as well as the Mecklenberg County Department of Public Health. I will not return to nor recommend this practice.

During peak flu season he did not wash his hands or try to protect the patient. Evidently he did not care if he spread viruses or whatever. He did not perform the retina tests that the other doctors did in the past for my condition. I would not go to him again or reccomend him because I did not trust his diagnosis or medical opinion. Got in and out even though I was told it was possibly a 3 hour process. Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Browning was knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. I appreciated the professionalism and not having to wait.

I have known Dr. Browning since 2001. Retinal detachment. Since then I have visited multiple times per year. Dr Browning is truly a professional, cares about his patients, and screens me annually at a minimum to make sure I have no further issues. Highly recommend.

Dr. Browning was great! He takes time and listens to you and makes you feel so comfortable...I will miss him and his wonderful staff as I moved back to Arizona..

Last April a doctor (not Dr. Browning) performed cataract implant replacement. After several months, I had detached retina. First in July in my left eye then in August in my right eye. It was devastating. When your retina detaches, you are blind. My regular eye doctor quickly diagnosed the problem and sent me to Dr. Browning. Dr. Browning was compassionate and extremely intelligent. He made me feel at easy. I feel that all doctors could learn from him on how to care for a patient. Also, his staff is very good. Dr. Browning performed my surgery. He did an amazing job. To go from being blind to seeing again means more than I can every explain. I don't have perfect vision, but I'm able to function and work. I highly recommend Dr. Browning and I am forever grateful to him. I wish all doctors had his level of skill, intelligence and most of all kindness. 5 Stars is really not enough. After the surgery, when I went for the follow up, Dr. Browning came by in the waiting room, tapped me on the shoulder and said everything would be alright. That was so comforting.
