Dr. David Larson Demill

Dr. Demill has taken care of my eyes after cataract surgery that ended up with an infection for over two years now and has just done a great job keeping me from having to have cornea replacement.

Dr. DeMill provides a very professional and personalized experience. He was very knowledgable on each topic that I presented and provided data-driven recommendations. In addition, he was able to confirm a problem I've had with one of my eyes that other doctors have not been able to diagnose.

Went in for a refraction/ eye exam which the nurse performed. She then dilated my eyes, after that dr Demill came in and changed the prescription while my eyes were dilated. I ordered my glasses the same day. About a month later I went to another dr within the same office for contacts, she found rather quickly that the prescription that dr demill prescribed was incorrect. Now I’m needing replacements for my prescription glasses, it will cost around 300 to change it to the correct prescription. I then called the office to speak with dr demill only to talk with his receptionist. A day later the receptionist calls me and tells me he won’t reimburse me for the prescriptions change for my glasses, I asked to speak with the doctor directly and was told he was with a patient and would call me after. Dr Demill has not called back and is refusing to take responsibility for his own mistake. I would not recommend this provider since he can’t do a simple eye exam.

If you suffer from Fuchs Endothelial Dystrophy you need go no farther than Dr DeMill. He is the premier DMEK surgeon in Utah. He operated on both of my eyes and the results were excellent. He takes time to explain conditions and surgeries. He studied with Dr. Terry in Portland, one of the inventors of the DMEK procedure. One out of 25 people in the US suffer from Fuch's. It is hereditary, so if you suspect that you may, go see Dr. Demill!

Not sure I've ever had a more pleasant experience with a Doctor than I did with Dr. DeMill. Not only is he very knowledgable, but he is just a very pleasant person in general. He took his time with me and explained all the different options for cataract surgery. He did my surgery last month and i couldn't be happier with the results.

He spent a great deal of time with me, and actually cared about me as a person. He explained everything in terms I could understand. I would recommend him to anybody! He put some plugs in my eyelid ducts that really helped my dry eyes.
