My initial visit was almost 4 years ago to finish off a root canal and crown when inwas active duty...Nothing to note until recently. After retiring I went back and the the first visit to fix a broken filling was good and scheduled a cleaning which was also o.k. However after that if became canceled appointment after canceled appointment...3 in a row AS OF TODAY. Ill be moving on, and dont expect any more nicely meeting s from the front office when you have to ask for records because you need to move elsewhere because they can't see you. Me and my wife have been going this dentist for over 25 years you will not find no other dentist like Dr Dickerhoff, are Dr Lewis they are true professionals to there trade highly recommend this dentist to everyone

If there were a Medal of Honor for Dentists in the Fort Bragg Area, Dave Dickerhoff and his Dental Group have earned it. What a wonderful place to visit even if you are having a bad day. Outstanding!!!!!

Friendly staff and happy to answer questions and concerns. Would recommend!

I took my family here because we had a few friends go with positive experiences. Nice front office staff. Cleanings were always pleasant. However, my son was having issues with his back tooth. Dr V (who used to be at this practice with Dr. D at the time), disagreed with Dr D's approach with my son. Ultimately, I went With Dr D's treatment plan which recommended saving the tooth instead of pulling it. It would also require a crown. Now, after three dentists have now confirmed the tooth should have been pulled and not saved (what Dr V recommended and challenged Dr D on) I regret following through with Dr D. Around the same time as my son's work, I was told at my appointment I needed a crown. The price tag was hefty and with six kids and a military budget - I held off until I could... When I went to my new dentist for cleanings I told them I was aware I needed a crown. After the check the dentist said I didn't need a crown. He asked why I thought that and I told him about Dr. D's treatment plan and what he felt was needed. He just shook his head... today I had three fillings done $72.... As I reflected back, I remembered the friends I did have that went there... had children that always had lots of dental work done. After the last three professional opinions ... I have come to the conclusion that there are Dentists who may be a little more honest with treatment options. Just because the office is nice, staff is sweet and things seem great... doesn't mean they have your best interest over their profit. If you choose to go here - always get a second or third opinion before ANY work is completed. I took my family here because we had a few friends go with positive experiences. Nice front office staff. Since 2013 I am patient of DR. Thorpe Whitehead to right now. His professional and smile ... I never forget!! He is real did a great job!! Thank you so much!! Appreciate it!!!

This dental office is amazing! The staff are really friendly and professional. Beyond that they do what they can to help! They repaired some horrible dental work done by a previous dentist and my daughter actually looks forward to going! They are respectful and great in the kid department. I absolutely love this place!

I LOVE this place! I have been pleased from day one with Dr. D and his hygienist Shannon. We moved from NC to TX 3 years ago and when we come back, I make it a point to get my dental needs met. They are thorough, remember you even after being gone several years, are personable, and just down right friendly. I sure am sad I don't know when my next visit here will be. :-( Haven't had a better dental staff in all my adult years. HIGHLY recommend! I LOVE this place! Love this place, my family and I have been going here since 1998 and we have always been treated with respect and excellent service. The staff is wonderful, I know most of them by first name. It is like going to see good friends when I visit.

I started coming here since I was four years old, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. All the staff from the front desk to the doctors and hygienists in the back are phenomenal. I love it here. :)

By far one of the best dentist offices I've ever frequented - and I hate going to the dentist!! Every member of the staff as always been exceptionally professional and caring.

I've thought of changing to another dental office that is closer to our home that is off Hwy 87 in Grays Creek, but my daughter really loves going here - and that speaks a lot about the staff and technicians. Note: we moved from being close to Fort Bragg two years ago to Grays Creek.

Raving about my dentist Dr. Dickerhoff!!! Both my 4 y.o. with autism and I had an appointment today. I have been a patient for a while but it was my son's first. I have lived in 37 different locations worldwide and Dr. D is my favorite dentist of all the dental care I have ever experienced. But now he is so much more!!! He has been so precautious, funny, and patient with my sensitive child that not only we got away without a single scream, squirm, or wiggle, but they also parted as best friends! As always, the staff was friendly and welcoming. They kept us informed about wait times and they also kept me informed about my daughters treatment options. Very pleased.

I am very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism shown by the staff at Spring Lake Dental Group. I was given a thorough preliminary exam to determine the feasibility of performing a root canal on an infected molar as opposed to performing an extraction. Endodontist, Dr. Lindsey, was confident that a root canal could be successfully performed on the molar. A follow up appointment was scheduled to perform the root canal. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Great with young children. Only "problem" was that the first appointment ran long with children's back to back appointments - but that was because they were being so thorough with the first child. Great Dentist.

I absolutely love (and will miss) Spring Lake Dental!! The hygienists and dentists are great with my young children! Everyone that works there always seems to have a smile on their face and are always so kind.

I personally am not a fan of any type of doctors at all. But I love everyone in this office! They really do care about you and try to make everything as easy as possible. They are also really great with my child, which is a big bonus in my book!!!

I took my 1 year old for her first appointment today and was completely impressed at how the dentist handled my little one. The doctor remained completely calm and kept my child engaged even through the pout. I have been going for three years and had nothing outstanding to say. The dentist and assistance are so nice. The experience was very pleasant. The dentist is very attentive and cares for his patients. Dr. Dickerhoff and his assistance have worked hard on making the atmosphere one of family like. There is not one time I have called and they hear my name and it's almost like to talking to a relative.There are no long wait times and appointment are scheduled mostly on the date and time you prefer (if possible). I've been a patient since 2006 and have had everything done there from a simple check-up to a dental surgery to get an implant. Dr. D is professional, quick, and does great work. He has a great personality, too. My entire family goes there and we couldn't be happier. The dental hygienist we see (Bonnie) is lovely and does great work. I see her exclusively and will continue to do so. The front office has had some turnover, but all ladies are friendly and helpful. I love my hygienist, and the dentists. The only issue I have is the 15-20 minutes or more wait after, to pay my bill. Yesterday, there was one customer at the desk, the young lady, who was very nice, was chatting with the others, then walked around straightening magazines in the waiting area, then got my chart, called me up to settle my account. I was done with my appointment in about 30 minutes, and had to wait 15 more to pay. I don't know what goes one behind with my chart, but 15 minutes to pay my bill when the desk doesn't look busy in unacceptable. Other then that, this is the first dentist I don't fear going to. Well organized, friendly, efficient; literally, no pain.

Everytime that I have visited SLDG I have been promptly greeted and seen. I have been informed of everything that will take place, the benefits and things to expect. They are thorough and friendly. I was nervous about getting my braces and with the dentist assistant's humor I was able to relax.

AMAZING office! Love everything about them! My children do not have fears of going to the dentist! I literally overheard two boys (around 10-12 yrs old) say, "I wish I could come to the dentist more than every 6 months)! I know... I dropped my mouth, but Dr Dickerhoff is just that great!!!!!

Two out of three visits I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. My first visit was bad, my second I actually was seen promptly and got what I came for, this is my third and another 30 minute wait for a cleaning. I think I'm going somewhere else
