David M Dranetz

Horrible doctor and a horrible person. I know him personally since he was a child. I called him to ask him to tell his mentally ill family member to stop calling and harassing me. He was a total @$$H0L€ to me over the phone AND he had the audacity to claim that he didn't know who I was?!? We grew up together and his late mother was my late father's mistress for decades. She was also my mother's best friend.

Scammed. Poor compassion and empathy. Receptionist is rude and unprofessional.

Waited a month and a half for an appointment. Once I got to the appointment, Dr. Dranetz stated he doesn’t treat for ADHD. I confirmed it was in my referral from my primary care. I expected a little more professionalism from him but I probably expected too much based off his previous reviews. Save your time and go to another Dr.

Not sure why so many people are putting negative reviews, but Dr Dranetz is a good psychiatrist. He's not a therapist, thats why he has two in his office. He knows how to manage RX's and does it well.

Dranetz and his receptionist is the toxic and abusive relationship that I am putting up with because I have no other options. I dread each appointment. I can’t wait until my regular clinic has availability.

Awful! DO NOT EXPECT HELP HERE! He took my grandmother off multiple medications and when she experienced psychosis and was taken to the ER twice over a weekend, he refused to alter her medication to stabilize her. He had been warned by multiple family members that she was showing signs of spiraling into a manic episode in the weeks before and he refused to schedule an appointment before her already scheduled appointment three months away. When family reached out to ask him to assess her while in the ER he said "there are people there that do that" which was not true. Terrible Doctor. He deserves 0 stars. Took mother off meds and she was hospitalized twice. Wouldn’t put her back on meds. Filing malpractice. He is beyond horrible!

This guy is a wack job. If there we're any advice I could give it would be "phycisian heal thyself" because he's got some issues.

As for someone that has never seen a psychiatrist before and was seeking professional help I can tell you this IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. I guess in that sense he helped me realize that my underlying fears of psychiatry is nothing but valid. Whatever someone might be going through will probably be better off fixing themselves rather than entering Longmire Psychiatry's doors. I would definitely recommend saving your money and finding someone better. These people don't care about anything besides getting you scheduled for another appointment. Probably why they make you do the co-pay first before seeing anyone because half their clients probably get the same treatment from this 1 star Psychiatrist and feels if they got scammed and don't want to pay for his terrible 1 star service. By the time I finished with my first session which didn't feel like an hour Dr. Dranetz was trying to sign me up for all these different groups in which I didn't fit nor needed because in fact this guy has no clue what he's actually talking about. Remembering right he didn't say anything besides a single mid conversation question and then later on he chimed in trying to sign me up to these support groups for people dealing issues that are way over my own needs. When he felt that the session was over it was like he became incoherent. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional individual in my life. After that he walked out of the office and grabbed the next person. The service was so bad that the dude couldn't even say have a good day, he was more worried about cashing out on the next client. He’s very arrogant, rude and ignorant, if you disagree with him he treats you like you’re an idiot. He doesn’t listen to his patients at all and I never felt comfortable with him. During our last appointment he personally attacked me and refused to prescribe me any medication except for a week’s worth of seroquel because I told him the medication I was on stopped working. He actually told me that I’m too far gone just because I didn’t agree with him!

Dr. Dranetz told me there was "nothing he could do for me" & that he felt I was just listing symptoms after having already been diagnosed and hospitalized by other psychiatrists in the past. After being hospitalized at my wife's insistence, a doctor at the mental health facility saw that I had recently been prescribed a common statin medication that causes depression. I was taken off that medication by a good doctor and returned to my normal mental state in short order. Dr. Dranetz is terrible

Dr Dranetz failed to disclose dual relationships that I believe affected my treatment. Dr Dranetz refuses to prescribe many common medications. He cut me off from some of the medications that had helped me to get back on my feet. Dr Dranetz berated me within the first 5 minutes of our first meeting. This was loud enough to be heard in the waiting room. In my opinion his diagnosis was bizarre. No psychiatrist, has ever concurred. I was afraid of him but did not have insurance so I could not leave
