I never had a good experience at a hospital until I met Dr. Golden and the team CS had do my surgery. If you don't like your experience here YOU did something wrong. From the receptionist, surgery planner who is the most efficient person I have ever met, the nurses, ekg tech, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Golden, all made me feel comfortable and confident throughout my procedure. I am only 10 days post surgery but can tell easily it feels better. Only time will tell as all recoveries are different and if the patient puts 100% into wanting to recover. I've had 3 orthopedic surgeries in my life. Hoping to never need surgery again, if it happens I am going straight to Dr. Golden. Dr. David Golden is an honest and caring Dr. I had hip replacement surgery. Minimal cut, minimal pain and after two weeks of surgery and help of physical therapy, walking and feeling good.

Doctor Golden is an exceptional healer. I required hip surgery. He was very straight forward and candid on my options. He was intuitive to my concerns, particularly as I had not had a surgical condition for 45 years, and alleviated my fears to the best of his ability. As straight forward and candid he was, he also knew the proper time for a well placed pun to ease the pressure leading into the surgical event. A great doctor is as good as his staff. And Doctor Golden's team has his same exceptional capabilities. I was in good hands through the surgical pre and post activities. Dr. Golden operated on my left wrist after I broke it on a ski vacation in Whistler. He did a great job and I can't recommend him any higher. His office staff is amazing and caring.

I absolutely love Dr. Golden! I met him years ago when I brought my dad to see him . I was so impressed with how he treated my dad I knew that if I ever needed any ortho work, he'd be my first choice. Wasn't wrong! He's done my hip and knee replacements and is about to do my shoulder. My recovery from previous surgeries was quick and I feel great. I had a Total Knee Replacement with complications due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was scared, very scared frankly. My RA was flaring, I was in tremendous pain and very unsure of the future. Dr. Golden's team was there right from the start. Everyone was really supportive and helpful. They respond really quickly and if you don't fully understand, they back up and make sure you understand. Dr. Golden carries himself with confidence and experience. It isn't just for show, he really is focused on the best outcomes. I am +16 days as I write this and I am progressing much quicker than I had expected. This is a very difficult surgery, and Dr. G doesn't sugar coat it, he tells you it's going to be tough, and it is. But it is noticeably better and I am really excited about getting active again. I will be replacing joints without hesitation moving forward.

Dr. Golden has replaced both of my knees. He is the best in the business. My replacement that he did 12 years ago looks like we did it two weeks ago. Still going strong!

I appreciate Dr.Golden's ability to listen and explain medical topics in a way that makes it comprehensive for me to understand. I felt secure in his surgical abilities and I strongly appreciate his direct compassionate presence.

Went to see him about my torn meniscus. He proceeded to demonstrate the damage by punching the paper I was sitting on and tearing it into pieces. It was terrible bedside manner and one of the most unprofessional things I’ve witnessed by a doctor. Left me feeling highly uncomfortable and uneasy.

helped my niece Julie, a concert harpist, when she broke her wrist in a fall, then lost her father the day before her surgery ! Dr. Golden and his team were amazingly kind, professional, gentle, and went above and beyond the call of duty. Surgery went great and that wrist is gonna be STRONG. Dr Golden has repair my left and right rotator cuffs. My range of motion is excellent and recovery time was great. I have little to no pain In both shoulders (pain free is not a guarantee, you want a gaurantee... go to sears) but, he is an excellent doctor. I'm looking at surgery for both of my knees (tore ACL reconstruction and meniscus tear on the left & and severe arthritis on the right), I wouldn't want any other Doctor touching me. I went to Kerlan Jobe for my ACL reconstruction... I'll never let them cut me again... recovery was a nightmare and a meniscus tear was missed.... Dr. Golden is an excellent surgeon. He explains in detail what to expect from surgery with uncanny accuracy. Was a great help being made aware of what to expect.

Dr. Golden has done both of my total hip replacements, the first in 2017 and the second two weeks ago. He has proved to be an excellent and skillful orthopedic surgeon, personable and a good listener to the needs of his patients. For each of my surgeries, during the pre-op, hospitalization and post-op periods, Dr. Golden was completely attentive and thorough in his care. His office staff, particularly Cheri Berry, his surgical coordinator, could not be more caring, competent of efficient.

Dr. Golden is golden in my book! He did both my hip and knee replacement surgeries and both were extremely successful. I have minimal scarring and was up and back in my feet in no time. He is straightforward, honest, has a great bedside manner along with a wonderful personality while maintaining te utmost in professionalism. An added plus is the staff.. they are all amazing caring individuals who only have their patients best interest at heart. I highly recommend Dr. Golden.

Dr. Golden is all business, straight to the point, honest and refreshing to work with. He knows his stuff and gets the job done. Just the kind of open honesty that I expect from a doctor. I highly recommend him. I will be going back to get my other knee done in the winter, once I have full range of motion on this knee!

Dr. Golden did an excellent job! I traveled 3 hours to L.A. for the surgery but having Dr. Golden do the surgery was well worth the trip! Excellent staff as well. I highly recommend Dr. Golden!!

Dr. Golden performed a total hip replacement for me and the result was far better than anyone thought possible. He was pleasant, clear and concise in all our interactions. To the extent that it can be, the entire process was a breeze. However, he didn't sugarcoat anything and his office was diligent in keeping in touch with me and making sure I was well prepared both prior to the procedure and during the healing process. I heartily recommend him.

I had an ACL reconstruction by Dr Golden. He was the second surgeon I went to after a friend highly recommended him. Dr Golden is top notch. Great recovery. Great bedside manner. After this whole ordeal and subsequent follow up visits, I consider him a friend, which I think is basically just a testament to him.

Not only is Dr. Golden one of the best knee surgeons in town, but he's an unexpectedly really nice guy. When's the last time you had a surgeon apologize for keeping you waiting 15 minutes (never)??? He was my "second opinion". He took his time to explore the best options for my particular set of issues. Thanks to Dr. Golden, I avoided 2 total knee replacements. Instead, had two less invasive partial knee replacements. Now I can get back to doing all the sports activities I love FASTER.

Dr. Golden is amazing! He takes the time to listen to the patient's concerns and ensures that all questions have been answered satisfactorily. He is never rushed and he makes you feel as though you're his only patient. In addition to his wonderful bedside manner, he is a phenomenal surgeon. I had a double knee replacement two weeks ago and the recovery so far has been nearly flawless. I originally came to Dr. Golden for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. He is the best, hands down.

Dr Golden has been very personable and assuring. His interaction with me as a patient has been appreciative. Highly recommended.

DR. Golden is amazing. My surgery went very well and he was very open with me about the painful recovery so there were no surprises. I am in my third week after surgery and I get stronger and more flexible every day. I highly recommend him.

Shoulder was in immense pain & rotated back with my arm hanging. The doc told me it had probably always looked that way...not true plus refused to look at my other shoulder (which was beginning to hurt). Out of the blue he said surgery would not help. He told me I had wasted my time & gave me anti-inflammatories. After some biofeedback treatments at my chiropractor's office, my shoulder finally moved back in position plus an MRI, I have a LABRAL TEAR at 4-6 o'clock. Go see someone else.

Dr Golden has "patience with his patients." At my inital consult, having done some research online about "arthritis + hip repl" I had some questions. After consult, I began researching the procedure method & had many questions. His assistant/scheduler, Cheri B.was very helpful. Saw Dr Golden 2wks prior to surgery for knee pain in my other leg, he answered my new questions & put my mind at ease. Saw him morning of-prior to surgery, and then when he popped in at 630a the following day.

5-stars is simply not a high rough rating for the remarkable quality of care and service provided by Dr. Golden and his entire staff. From the first consultation I had in 12/12 to the actual ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Repair procedure completed on 9/2/14, each and every interaction has been a pure pleasure. Here's a breakdown of the major points: (1) Scheduling - I have HMO which can sometimes be a nightmare and the first orthopedic surgeon I was sent to was downright awful. But I persevered and was able to get another referral to Dr. Golden and couldn't have been more pleased. His scheduling staff are professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. (2) Communications - The new CSMG email messaging system allows you to send emails any time of the day and the staff exceeded my expectations for replies each and every time! I NEVER felt like I couldn't reach Dr. Golden. (3) Bedside Manner - In some professions it is enough to be good (or considered the best). You really need to build a relationship with your patients. After all, they are putting their lives in your hands. Dr. Golden is truly wonderful. He is patient, thorough, considerate and NEVER condescending. (4) Pre-op Communications - Dr. Golden took the time to listen carefully to each of my concerns and addressed them thoroughly. I was especially nervous about the anesthesia and he sent both the resident anesthesiologist (aka "good cop") and the main anesthesiologist (aka "serious cop") to visit me, inform me of the risks and put me at ease. The intravenous valium helped too! The pre-op nurse (Jane) also spent some time talking to me and just putting me at ease. It was really wonderful! (5) Facility- The new Advanced Health Sciences wing at Cedars-Sinai is really amazing. Thank you to the donors for making such a beautiful state-of-the art hospital that didn't "feel" like a hospital. It helps when you feel like you're going to a 4-star hotel instead of a sterile lab. (6) Surgery- My ACL Reconstruction was particularly challenging because I had an allograft ACL reconstruction in 1992. Of course, the bolt used in that surgery blocked the path Dr. Golden needed so my options were limited. But Dr. Golden did a lot of study and research and discovered a brand new type of technology that enabled him to remove the old hardware AND complete my needed repair. This is nothing short of AMAZING!!! (7) Post-op - I have received phone calls and emails from the nurses and my doctor's office to check on me and even though I 20+ miles away, I'm not worried. I am comfortably recovering in my home (a huge improvement over the old days of hospitalized surgery) and I feel like I am getting better much faster than anticipated. Thank you so much Dr. Golden. You are the best! UPDATE: I had ACL reconstruction on my OTHER knee in July 2015 and Dr. Golden once again proved that he is a Surgeon with Jedi skills. This surgery was WAY more complicated and the recovery long and painful, but having Dr. Golden made it bearable and I am optimistic about my long term results! 5-stars is simply not a high rough rating for the remarkable quality of care and service provided by Dr. Golden and his entire staff.
