I was explained my options in detail. I had virtually no wait to be seen. The receptionist was very nice and got my records with no fuss. The procedure was so quick…my tooth was pulled in less than 60 seconds!

I was referred to Dr. Guba by another dentist for wisdom teeth extraction. As a young black woman, I have extreme anxiety that comes with health/dental care. My first consultation was quick, Dr. Guba accessed my teeth, told me what needed to be done & sent me on my way. The day of the surgery, I was very nervous. Dr. Guba had a difficult time finding my veins for the anesthesia. I told him this happens often when I go to the doctors but they are always able to find it after some time. After poking each arm twice with the needle, Dr. Guba said he didn’t like poking people multiple times & he’s just going to send me over to the surgical center where an actual anesthesiologist can do it. All I needed to do was sign some paperwork & unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to get the surgery done today because the center required a COVID-19 test. I sign the papers & hand them to the receptionist & she proceeds to tell me that I will need to pay an extra $1300 OUT OF POCKET in order to go to the surgical center. I need to pay $1300 because this dentist wasn’t able to locate my veins?? Why wasn’t there an anesthesiologist already on site?? Very frustrating experience for me, will be finding another dentist. I recently went to Dr. Guba's office for extractions of all of my wisdom teeth. I've never had such a pleasant experience with the dentist for an extraction. I did not get anesthesia. I didn't want to, and so the doctor and his assistant gave me two shots of novacaine in each tooth and I didn't feel ANYTHING. In fact the whole surgery probably took about what felt like 10 minutes. I got stitches. Which were totally soft and comfortable. They fell out in less fan a week. After the surgery I went home with an ice pack. I only had to take pain medicine on the first day. The following days I had virtually no pain and barely any swelling! They did such a good job. Can't reccomend this place enough! Dr. Guba and his team are patient, knowledgeable and kind. My daughter had baby teeth removed and bracketed and he really did a wonderful job. The staff is courteous and efficient. Wonderful experience with this office.

This was a great experience with surgery. The office is very nice and everyone was so caring.

Went for an extraction of a fractured tooth. Dr. Guba seemed rushed, which I didn't understand since many of the pts had cancelled due to snow. I asked someone from his staff why the rush? I was told he is just a little hyper. He was not compassionate, didn't explain anything, and was absolutely reckless and painful during numbing. He even hit my tongue with the needle. I was gripping the chair and started shaking after it was over. To top it off, he did not numb the area properly. I expressed I could still feel pain. Apparently he did not believe me. He grasped the tooth to start pulling and I stopped him immediately and got out the chair. He then told me I needed propofol for the extraction! Here's the thing, I had root canal, fillings and a crown with local anesthetic with two different dentists and had zero problems! I am not a nervous person nor am I afraid of dentists or needles. This guy is just bad. Looking at the ratings, he's either high 5 or low 1, nothing in between.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Guba. Even after all four bony impacted wisdom teeth were removed my recovery was easy. I only took 2 Advil for pain throughout my entire recovery.

Dr Guba and his staff are awesome. I was nervous about getting my tooth pulled. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Guba ruined my life. I was on a cancer medicine that negatively affects the mouth area after extraction. It is a year later and a 2nd surgery from another Doctor. May need several more surgeries because of his incompetence.

Had a tooth pulled a few months back. Although I read about tooth extraction, I really didn't know what to expect. First - office and doctor's staff was wonderful. Very friendly and professional. Second - Dr. Guba was amazing. The little anxiety I had was put to ease after being told about the extraction process (which may have taken 15 minutes at the most after numbing). I just had my oral surgery with Dr. Guba to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth on Friday. Dr. Guba and his staff are excellent. His instructions on what to do before and after surgery were very helpful. His front desk coordinator was very sweet and answered every question I had prior to the surgery. When surgery day came, Dr. Guba and his nursing staff made sure I was very comfortable and explained everything they were doing. The surgery was really quick and I had no effects from sedation afterwards. Dr. Guba and his staff constantly checked on me to see if I was feeling well and made sure I had everything I needed. My experience with Dr. Guba was a 5 star experience and I definitely recommend him for any kind of oral surgery or exam. Dr. Guba’s staff is amazing and his bed side manner is off the charts!!! I felt right at home and as if I knew them for years. I highly recommend Dr. Guba for you dental needs!!

Dr. Guba confidently agreed to perform en extraction on my daughter that another oral surgeon felt uncomfortable attempting. I found that the receptionist (Jennifer) was extremely pleasant and proficient in reassuring us and establishing an expedited appointment. We met Dr. Guba who with his assistants Sue, and Sabrina projected confidence and an overview of the coming procedure. I was alerted that the procedure was completed but Dr. Guba was not satisfied with my daughters' arousal from sedation. Dr. Guba escorted via wheelchair (with Sue and Sabrina) my daughter to Abington Emergency where he stood by and gave detailed information to the E.R. Staff , and supported my daughter with a follow up visit . Everything went well and all precautions were followed ;so that my daughter and I went home after a few extra hours of care from Dr. Guba and Abington Hospital, where she has had a speedy recovery. Dr. Guba that day was worthy of the Top Doctor Award seen in his office from previous years. I had a dental emergency and was referred to Dr Guba by another oral surgeon. I was treated with professionalism and compassion All aspects of care needed were throughly explained. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone needing an oral surgeon

I recommend Dr Guba for your oral surgeon needs . My son had his wisdom teeth out by Dr Guba in December 2018 . A clean office environment with a knowledgeable and kind surgeon .

I had all four wisdom teeth removed less than 24 hrs ago and I feel great. Dr Guba and staff were super kind and helpful. My sister had hers removed about a year ago and had the same experience as well!

Dr. Guba was rude and uncaring to my son, my husband and myself. His treatment of my son's broken, non-displaced jaw was extreme and the exact opposite of the two other surgeons we contacted. He did not examine my son, ask him any questions or consider a different course of treatment other than wiring his jaw shut for 4 weeks. The other two surgeons disagreed strongly with his opinion. When we hesitated to immediately agree with him, he practically threw us out of the office. I'm grateful he did

DR. Guba operated on my daughter Isabela who is 15. She had her wisdom teeth removed. He and his staff made her feel extremely comfortable and at ease from beginning to end. It was a wonderful experience. He is excellent!

Dr. Guba was patient and careful. He explained everything and put me at ease. The treatment was done expeditiously and successfully. Dr. Guba called me to tell me the results and sent the findings to my primary physician and me. Great experience.

My daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed. Our first experience with Dr. Guba was talking to Heather. Heather was extremely helpful with every question I had pertaining the appointment, insurance, pre-treatment estimate and any other questions that arose. She was patient and professional. We than met Dr. Guba who was fantastic always a full explanation of the process from A to Z. Day of surgery everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. So glad we met Dr Guba and his amazing team. A+
