Dr. David M Hyams

After learning I had breast cancer following a mammogram and biopsy and thinking I was going to die, the first thing he said was. You are not going to die which felt like a boulder lifted from my shoulders. He explained my options and performed my surgery and the second day I was feeling well enough to resume most of my regular activities without pain medication. Highly recommend him for this situation. He takes the time to explain and answers all your concerns

Terrible experience. Office staff rude. Dr was always late, up to two hours. But worse, breast tissue was left behind after mastectomy, expander was placed extremely high & in the wrong direction. Overfilled to save him time, but cause me excessive pain. Did not complete my medical treatment with him. Thank goodness. Needed scare revision and redo of his work as well as secondary mastectomy due to high risk genetics for me to get breast cancer in other breast. I’m in good hands with UCLA and City of Hope. Saved my life when I had to have an emergency colon resection on Christmas Eve no less. He took such great interest in me and my health! A+++

Impressiive! Spent real time explaining symptoms, translating medical terminology and treatment options. He makes you feel like a friend and someone who matters!

Awesome doctor. I have never had a doctor explain in such detail what and why something needed to be done . I would refer him to anyone and feel safe doing so.

Very nice man. Spends quality thorough time with his patients and truly cares. Outstanding credentials and experience. Tony and Isobel office staff are wonderful. Could not be happier.

Dr. Hyams is very gifted in his field. On a scale of 0 to 10, my rating would be 12; if that were possible. The staff is extremely competent and attentive. Dr. Hyams explained in detail procedures and answered all questions. The experience of a bad situation was as good as it could be because of the concern, professionalism & dedication of everyone.
