Rude replies when I asked what I thought were key questions. I went to see him since my prior cardiologist was retiring with results re: a valve from a echo cardo test that got me nervous. He suggested a procedure to look into it further. When I asked about doing another echo just to confirm (since this would be done using there equipment as compared to my old dr's) he said no and recommended a minor procedure - which still had some risk. really turned off by his attitude. Went elsewhere. They gave me a new echo and came back fine. So avoided an unnecessary procedure. All the other drs at St Peter's have been great. He was the only exception

Pushes big pharmaceutical medicines but ignores you about homeopathic and more holistic approach to my health. Just because you are an expert in cardiology doesn’t make you a know it all about everything with heart issues. Yes, doctor your ego was way too large for me: vitamins, anti oxidants and natural foods work. You should not rebuff your patient who knows quite a bit more than you gave him credit for. You make money on the prescriptions you peddle, however I do believe you wouldn’t take em.

Unprofessional behavior. Asked to move up appointment by staff to accommodate him. Arrived late due to back up in front of the hospital. Doctor had a temper tantrum. Never have seen anything like it. Not to mention he missed a major problem. Cannot Recommend

Explains in detail your issues. I believe he cares about his patients.

My recent visit with Dr, Jacobs was more than what was expected especially since I was afraid of what may utimately, be a very negative experience. To the contrary, Dr. Jacobs IS A VERY SERIOUS physician who may seem to most not so compassionate,this is further from the truth. He is always attending to your needs even when are unaware of it. He'll question your previous dr's medicine and if it concerns your greater quality of life for a healthy heart he'll modify what's best for you. I really come to really appreciate his professional character, besides it is not always about, his great smile or bedside manner to me it's my life and what can his proffessional and experienced skills will measure up to my leaving with a diagnosis that is positive for me and my well being. Thanks Dr. Jacobs, I mean it!.
